It is setup quickly and up and running in less than 2 hours. It is easy to administrate and also very easy to use on a daily basis.

We have had a very positive experience with the tool. The ability to integrate with multiple virtualization platforms and manage all of them in the same way has been really great.

Our interaction with support has been wonderful. They periodically contact us to see how things are running and they answer any questions and resolve any issues we may have.

There is one of our VMs that the Cohesity could not index, so we're forced to leave it unindexed.

Cohesity is an amazing platform that greatly reduced out data management and backup footprint. I really like the ease of use and ability to have one place to go for all of our data protections needs.

Cohesity has been excellent to work with. The local team is always helpful and responsive, support is excellent, and the product exceeds all expectations.

I don't agree with their method of releasing updates or the lack of a notification system regarding those updates.

Also, it is a compact four node system and has integration with several other vendors like VMware , AWS, Azure etc.

Cohesity has allowed us to move to a global backup platform that has modern cloud based capabilities, enabling a more flexible and cost efficient architecture.

My biggest complaint is, there is no Cohesity sponsored user training. Many other software businesses offer some user training.

Unfortunately, it often happens that bugs are delivered with updates.

Cohesity was for us the perfect solution in providing back-up as a service to our customers. It is easy to scale, easy to configure and very easy to manage.

Additional analytics on data, combined with a great scalable solutions gives  everything needed for solving secondary storage challenges.

No centralized credential manager. No global options for backup exclusions - have to manually set options for each policy you create.

Ability to centrally manage and assign storage shares has been a great addition.

And the setup and install of Cohesity was seamless. Choesity support is one of the best support teams.

At first some of the features were missing that other vendors were already offering but Cohesity have caught up.

Application backups (Exchange, SQL, AD) will all require an agent and the agent management is very poor in my opinion.

Being able to centrally manage and protect our data, as well as the advanced security features to protect from ransomware attack, helps us all sleep better at night.

We had issues deployment but that was related to the servers. But cohesity support was very helpful and did a great job.

Cohesity has been very easy to install with an intuitive interface. The development team is adding new features and growing capabilities.

It did so without any issues (even on the virtual edition). The elastic search functionality is impressive and really helps us locate everything we need quickly.

Our journey with Cohesity started about 18 months ago and we are still so happy with the product. It’s working perfectly, it’s still fast and reliable as from day 1.

Is the only solution that really works with OLVM, the compression ratio is high and help to save storage cost, easy to administer, easy to use, easy to restore, have a nice console.

Agentless backup is the most we love in Vinchin.

But best of all, its customizable backup jobs would do everything it can to save storage and speed the whole process up. And the instant recovery is trully amazing, I like it very much.

Stability and security for being on linux server.

The UI is easy to use for the first time, and the backup function is good.

The backup log ist not showing the task duration for a single VM. Sometimes Vinchin is not able to delete a backup snapshot (not furter investigeted yet - maybe my fault).

Unexpected data loss is a demerit for me; it should be tackled by Vinchin Backup & Recovery properly because the business runs on data.

My customer problem is deployment in physic server is difficult but technical suppport from Vinchin is helpfull.

The software is not able to backup physical server and that will lower the rating a bit.

I had some trouble with the first installation, but that may be my inexperience. In the ongoing process, I had a great experience, especially with online support.

I like the granular restore feature which allows us to save a piece of data multiple times instead of waiting for whole VM restore.

I am very Happy to use it because is very easy and has alot of features.
