Pleased for over 2 years

Every integration that we have had with Document Compliance has been very positive. When they updated their software, they offered individual training and they listen to their customers to constantly add new features.

PROS

The most convenient feature is that customers are able to simply upload documents to the database through a link rather than creating an account like other software. It makes for a much more seamless customer experience. The cost is also significantly more affordable that other more complicated products. Setup was relatively easy. We went from a very manual way of tracking supplier documents to Document Compliance. It has saved us considerable time in managing suppliers.

CONS

Originally, the software had a lot of bugs but with the new software released last year, there are not any cons that I have experience so far.

A great program at a fraction of the cost of similar programs

We have been very pleased with the affordability, the assistance in emailing our suppliers, and the ability to download and save multiple documents. Individualized refreshers and trainings with [sensitive content hidden] have really helped our team better understand the program.

PROS

The training and customer service has been amazing. They have listened to our feedback and tailored and updated the program to better meet our needs. It has become a very efficient way to contact suppliers and manage our food safety and quality documents.

CONS

Initially we were unable to export multiple documents at the same time, and had to handle documents one at a time. The program was enhanced to allow for mass export/emailing and that has been very helpful.

Relief

PROS

Before we had purchased Document Compliance it was a nightmare trying to find anything around here. Everything was still on paper and slowly getting entered into the system. Now, everything is uploaded quickly and up to date. I love this software so much and I only spend a few hours a day working on it. I am not the only one here that relies on documents that are uploaded to this software. It is just so much simpler to log onto it, enter the item number, and everything is right there at your fingertips. You can print a report or email the documents to whomever is asking. The best part about this software is that I do not have to physically upload all the documents myself. I see something is missing, I send a quick link to our supplier, and they can upload the documents themselves. It saves hours of labor on my end.

CONS

The software has a hard time keeping up with a fast typer like me. I have to slow my typing down so it knows what I am typing.

Manage your suppliers how you want

Overall very positive, any issues I have ran into where quickly addressed by the support team.

PROS

This platform is very easy to use, the issue with other like products is the difficulty to use the system. With Document Compliance Network the suppliers are not required to have logins, they simply click the link and upload. You decide the frequency of updates to not overwhelm your suppliers with daily email blasts.

CONS

When sharing documents there is no feature to share "Internal" documents along with a suppliers documents in the same email set. For our company structure we often supply our statement letters with our suppliers certifications. Now two emails are sent vs 1 consolidated email.

The Best Software that I ever tried.

I have no complains. The customer service is also amazing, they always help me so fast and answer my questions very fast.

PROS

I like because all my suppliers are able to upload their documents without doing an account, keeps me update on the expiration and missing files. Send to my suppliers reminders of upcoming missing and expired files.

CONS

The only thing that I would like, would be the access for e-mail templates.

We don't give users direct access to edit the templates because they are in HTML, however they are completely customizable. Just sent whatever you want the email to say to your customer service rep and they can change them for you as often as you may need.

The support staff is incredible. Everyone is so friendly and willing to accommodate your requests.

PROS

The ease of use. The ease of onboarding. The ease of generating reports. All incredible features on this really easy to use software. It is incredibly intuitive and requires little training.

CONS

Storage of more than one CoA would be a nice feature to add.

Easy to use

PROS

Once the software is fully set up, it is easy to track what needs to be requested and who is in compliance. The best feature is being able to pull up any document needed with the search function in a matter of seconds.

CONS

Setup can be time consuming and stressful depending on the state of your documents. The support team is very helpful during this team and even scheduled weekly check-ins where I could ask minor questions and explore different features.

Awesome Network

PROS

All of the features are super easy to work with and in just a minute you can set up a new supplier or item without a problem and in a second you will contact them requesting all you need.

CONS

That it doesn't connect with others networks like this.

Very Satisfied

Very pleasant experience overall with DCN. [sensitive content hidden] was pivotal in the initial set up. [sensitive content hidden] is my go - to girl now. I went from basically a manual compilation of required to a system that has taken the guess work out.

PROS

What I like most about this software is that it takes the guess work out of requesting the documentation required.

CONS

Initially the software was sending out too many emails to my providers. They were getting very annoyed with the requests. DCN was able to rectify and it no longer is an issue.

Great software

It's working well. It has enabled us to easily "see" what is happening with each supplier at a glance.

PROS

"DCN" is a great tool with all of the necessary features needed for Quality/Food Safety personnel to keep track of internal and external documents, supplier compliance, etc. while freeing up time to complete other tasks and of course reducing paper usage while maintaining documents in one centralized and easily searchable package.

CONS

Nothing so far. We have been exposed to DCN through some of our customers and liked how easy it is to use the software.

Document Compliance Network is tailored for food safety compliance.

We use DCN to maintain QA documentation with food suppliers. It is our central repository for documentation including Third Party Audit reports and HACCP plans.

PROS

DCN is written with users in mind. It is intuitive and easy to navigate.

CONS

Despite the fact that the system is intuitive startup support and training is still required.

PROS

Document compliance will shave you at least 2-3 hours hunting down paper work everyday. It not only works to procure documentation but also organizes and checks for expiration. Does everything you want at a price you would not expect for the quality. Support is also amazing and does a great job to ensure a smooth transition. I would recommend this software over any of the other competitors in the market

CONS

Nothing I dont like, if you need a feature thatas missing support is great at helping to find work arounds or even just straight implementation.

DCN Review

PROS

The automated emails are the most impactful for me. Not having to chase supplier's down for their records and documents is great. I also really appreciate the expiration count down that is visible on the dashboard. It gives me a great visual as to where our documents stand. This was very easy to integrate into our business!

CONS

I dislike that you cannot select and remove what is required for "per shipment." not every shipment we receive requires every category I have created.
