PandaDoc is cloud-based document management software that helps users in creating proposals, quotes, human resources documents, contracts and more. The solution is mostly used by sales and marketing teams and company leadership.

PandaDoc allows users to choose from a variety of proposal templates, which are free to download and customize. It also provides options to change the language and currency used in documents depending on regional standards. With its collaboration feature, various teams can collaborate on a single document by commenting and in-activity logging. The built-in e-signature feature allows signers to approve and sign the documents from anywhere anytime.

PandaDoc analytics provides real-time statistics regarding who has viewed the proposal, how many times they saw proposal and how much time spent on the proposal. The dashboard provides an overview of proposal performance.

PandaDoc comes is available via a subscription-based pricing model on per user basis. It provides integration with Salesforce, HubSpot, SugarCRM, ProsperWorks and many more.

A great application to use.

Pros

The streamlined process from beginning a proposal through to sending it to our client ensures they are received in a timelier manner than what we have experienced before. Saving templates and documents allows for a more efficient preparation process, as you don't need to re-create everything from the start. We really like that we can integrate a client's information right through to payment at the acceptance of the proposal. The auto-save function is good to have as is setting up a payment to integrate to another system.

Cons

We found a few glitches when adding extra headers and text fields. Thankfully the autosave function allows you to exit back to the dashboard and you can return to your template without having lost your work.

Sometimes the software is a bit slow, but this doesn't happen very often, and when it does, it only happens for a minute or so

PandaDoc allows your company to finalize proposals and deal documents with your clients. Instead of sending all your deal documents through multiple emails, attachments, and PDFs, you and your client can simply get everything signed in one PandaDoc document.

Cons

It's not a bad software, but it definitely needs to work on its integration with other software. We wanted to link our PandaDoc with our CRM software and have the signed deals to come through our CRM, and it hasn't been working. Customer support isn't the best either. I've reached out to them and they've looked at our issue a couple times, but then they never followed up even though our issue still persisted.

It has an app! I can use this to create all my documents, put them in templates, have them ready to go for an e=signature. Their customer support is bar none. They are very helpful and quick to respond to any queries.

Cons

It is lacking the ability for comments for the clients I invite to sign my documents otherwise there is nothing I could think of to improve this awesome product!

Pandadoc is the most comprehensive quoting platform I have used. The templates are easy to use, I love the quote approval workflow, we can lock content blocks so we can control the level of freedom a sales rep has.

Cons

I think the only issue is the price. Pandadocs is expensive for small businesses but if you have the budget for it then it is great value.

Its interface is supercool, it is easy to use, design friendly, the library and templates are amazing to save time.
It also allows us to quickly create and send proposals from tablets as well as desktops. The chase function (send reminder) is excellent.
It is very easy for our clients to receive, review, and sign off on orders, contracts and more. It's also great the way you can save visuals and sections of documents into the content library for easy future use.

Cons

what makes me frustrated is T when you are creating tables within your documents, and you press "Tab" to move to the next column. It doesn't move you there, but instead takes you to the next "User" input field which is completely not relevant when you are creating a new document.
Some of my quotations arrive as a spam, so my futurs clients never receive them. There are bug with the typography (the size of the text change for no reason, the bold appears or disappear for no reason, etc).

Pros

Pandadoc is a very easy to use application. My team loves that it is completely mobile. Documents can be sent, viewed and completed on any device. The platform is feature rich and surprisingly self explanatory. The eTutorials are great. They provide screenshots and video grabs of their latest features and more.

Cons

Wish the formatting were more like Microsoft Word or Excel. Building out a document or template can take longer then expected.

Pros

If you have document that require multi level signatures with certain order, this is a nifty tool. You can also audit how long the recipient spent time each page.

Cons

Creating form or document take some time. It requires some skills. Orientation or training is appreciated but it seems it is additional fee.

Intuitive and very easy to learn. Also a little fun to drag the fields around. Makes it so much easier to get signatures, compared to using pen and paper!

Cons

If you start a document and send it out with the wrong email/name somewhere, that person/email becomes permanently associated with the document. Would be helpful if that wasn't a thing, but it's also extremely easy to start a new one.

Really professional looking program. I can customize my documents to whatever I need them to be. Very easy to manage sending and receiving signatures to and from our clients. Completely replaced the back and forth and trying to get signatures on contracts via fax. I can see when the recipient has opened the document or if they have any questions or concerns.

Cons

Sometimes it kicks out the clients when they are trying to submit the signatures. Also can be a little tough to set up new documents from scratch if you've never used the program before.

Cons

PandaDoc didn't support having dual languages in the proposal. I know this is a high order, but that's why we couldn't use it in the end.

Increased productivity, increased efficiency, significant time savings, faster approval process, centralized housing of proposals, simplified proposal creation

Pros

We transitioned to PandaDoc several months ago to automate our proposal software development, delivery, and execution. What used to take us several hours per proposal now takes us minutes. The user interface is easy to use and allows you to customize your proposals and add features in that were difficult before, such as video. Also, you can create your content library to drag and drop parts of your proposal that might be different or unique to each proposal, such as descriptions of products and/or services that you offer. The pricing library can be preloaded with your products and/or services so you can streamline and automate the pricing process, including the calculation of multiple items and sales tax. Finally, the integration that PandaDoc has with HubSpot is simply amazing. By having this native integration, we are able to pull most of the information about our customers or prospects directly from our CRM, pre-populating the fields that would otherwise be time consuming to manually enter.

Cons

The only negative that I have about PandaDoc is that when you create items in dropdown boxes, you don't have the ability to match the font of those dropdowns with the font that you use in the rest of your document. I have heard that this might be changing soon but it does make the proposal look a bit unprofessional to have 2 different fonts used.

We use this in various aspects of our business; customer contracts, employee contracts, and third party service contracts - it fits so many different business cases and allows for many customisation options with no PandaDocs watermarkig.

Cons

As a customer (someone receiving a contract but not inside PandaDoc) it is hard to get a copy of a contract you once signed. While you can download at the time of signing, you can't go back 2 months later to retrieve your copy - you might have to contact the person who originally sent it.

Creating proposals takes a fraction of the time because of the templates. I can also send videos to customers in the documents I want them to sign. It makes things more efficient and saves money.

Pros

I really liked DocuSign and used it for quite some time, but it always left a little something to be desired. Then I found PandaDoc. I made the switch because PandaDoc allows you to include videos in your proposals/templates - in my business, sending videos increases conversions. I also like the fact that you can integrate PandaDoc with Hubspot, because you can send proposals that are hyper-personalized with the tags you've created.

Cons

A couple people have told me that stuff sent from PandaDoc goes to their spam folder. Maybe it's because they're in financial services and the spam folders tend to be stricter, but it is something I've noticed.

Beautiful layout and design, easy organization.

Pros

I worked with PandaDoc to bring it as a solution to a problem one of our clients was having. They wanted consistency and control over their proposals. Through our research, we found PandaDoc as a solution. Not only could you control the consistency from document to document, but you can streamline the process of entering information, organize the proposals by sales person, set admin controls for review, get digital signatures, and about a hundred other things.

The thing I appreciated most about the application was the ability to great a great looking document that combined live, editable text as well as graphics. This streamlined our design process and gave them a beautiful looking proposal document.

Cons

While formatting the proposal, it was difficult to see where the 8.5x11 page breaks would land. You can "add" a page break anywhere, but that won't indicate where the page will actually end when downloaded. For our client, it was important to have a great looking document when downloaded as a PDF. We ended up having to do trial and error by making changes and downloading each time to see if it looked alright.

Contract process is very easy and takes minutes to send the contract to prospects.

Pros

The process of contract signing is very easy for the entire team. There are no more mistakes and contracts can be reviewed and approved by the entire team quicker which makes our customers happy.

Cons

Billing is a little different than most. Very inconsistent. Sometimes it can be difficult to customize documents to your liking. Other than that it is a great product.

Cons

A bit buggy, Tabbing issue from time to time, search is slow and indexing misses things from time to time. Spam filter needs to be change for mail to be received.

Very easy to create and set workflows for executing agreements. it allows very good interoperability with MS office. The product also allows duplicating and editing documents which is very helpful. The features for security are great even allows use of digital signatures. Is integrated with our CRM to make it very seamless for a quote to cash application.

Cons

not integrated with Hubspot that is a issue. Also some of the features are currently not usable by us better education is required. The only other issue is the rigidity in allowing incentives and discounts to our customers. But overall a great product.

What I like best is that PandaDoc can be implemented to work with already established CRMs . It simplifies the process for both customers and employees .The E-sign and online tracking option make finalizing transactions seamless .

Cons

I use PandaDoc exclusively on a computer as I find the mobile app lacking . They can also take it a bit easy on the number of notifications ,but other than that it is great .

Absolutely love using panda doc. Has actually helped us start closing more customers given the seamless experience with using panda doc for quotation and proposal management. Some of the top features for us

1) very easy to duplicate and edit existing documents
2) allows for multiple formats to be edited
3) they have price tables integrated
4) very simple to setup workflows and execute and create repositories.

Cons

the tool is great but have had some proposals landing in spam folders of customers. Also the customization available on quotes is limited (you can't add promotions etc) that can possibly change.

Pros

PandaDoc streamlines each process on the sales department: from moving leads across the sales funnel to supporting marketing efforts with feedback on buyer personas. As opposed to many of its competitors, PandaDoc does offer team collaboration and different access levels for a different type of users.

Cons

The only thing that may be an issue for most users is its price. Nonetheless, the investment is entirely worth it, and it is not that expensive when you compare it to similar ERPs like SAP.
