The product offers features for editing 2D geometry and annotating architectural drawings. I also love how you can attach and import PDf files.

This was a great lower cost solution for getting into CAD. The cost is more than what we wanted to spend, but pricing is competitive.

Sometimes the program may crash or shut down unexpectedly. If the autosave feature is not enabled this can lead to a huge loss in work.

I've used AutoCad LT for 4 years and have been generally pleased with its features for my use case which is one off products and maintaining a floor plan for out plant layout.

Great for Interior Designers, Architects, Engineers and builders.

It has got almost all 2D drawing features. Creating complex multi-layered drawings are very easy.

What I like the most about AutoCAD Lt is its cost. A years subscription can be up to twenty five percent of the original program.

Easy to integrate in manufacturing applications. The printing options available are better than competition.

Auto CAD is very nice software for anything to planning,drawing and designing.

With the wide range of APIs, the solution has to offer and the ability to integrate with other third-party applications.

Still this is a good help for me doing my drawings.

It's enough to accomplish most design tasks and the pricing is a lot more attractive.

Some 3d elements and quick short cuts are not available but it really doesn't effect our daily work flow.

AutoCAD LT is a great light weight option for reviewing and revising, CAD drawings. Take-offs, measurements, clouds, etc are all very straight forward and runs quicker than regular AutoCAD.

It has no 3d capacities, so it is for no use in the architecture office anymore.

Again, I do not personally use it, but I have not been told of any negative features about the software.

It's an excellent piece of software which essentially strips down the standard Autocad version by removing a few features like 3D modelling.

The software provides single-user licensing, so it may be difficult to use as a business organization.

It is still CAD and is something that takes time to learn. Because of the trimmed down features it can have some odd errors where objects are not read/supported, so they can be edited or removed.

AutoCAD LT is a user friendly, all encompassing design software. The ease of use for our draftsmen is great.

It is an application that I can quickly model an easy 2 dimensional object. I can access this model I designed on the web and mobile.

I don't like it when I have to change plot settings so I try to avoid it.

Ease of use and the ability to install it on a tablet.

It permits to have an extensive library of already drawn items. Instead of copying and pasting from previous drawings, we can draw it once, save it in the library and call on it whenever we like.

The software is great at importing and exporting other CAD formats.

Very fast software which helps in quicker designing of models.

We can create design in 2d and can do analysis of the design to avoid errors during production. They have a great customer support if we hav any issues.

This would cause me to seriously have to update it manually, hours of work. This happened with large assemblies.

The user interface of this software is bit messy which makes its user to get bored soon. The software is very confusing to learn and operate.

This software allows you to create nice designs only when you know how to operate this software  which is not at all an easy task.

It is easy to  understand, the user interface is wonderful and is very easy to use. It  gives an in depth knowledge of designing of  products.

The ease of access is the most beautiful feature about this software.

Solid Edge is Simple yet Advanced CAD Software, It is best for beginners because its interface is simple and features are also easy to learn. You  can easily Perform 2D to 3D designs.

It  helps to render  products in real time manner. The ease of modifying parts and the interface.

The integration and the easy way to import and export 3d models with a commom extensions.

Having the choice between direct modeling and ordered is perfect.

I can quickly provide customer solutions, with great quality 2D drawings, 3D models, Video fly-throughs, machine animations, stress and displacement analysis and reverse engineering.

Solid Edge is reasonablly priced software. It has excellent integration with next high end software called Unigraphics.

This caused so much lagging. I once waited 10 minutes just to turn a DFT file into a pdf because I wanted color.

3D to 2D converter is moderate with few features missing in comparison with other softwares of this caliber.

Friendly and easy to use for beginners. It has many tools for desing, drawing and somes for modeling.

Takes time to open, some errors are unrecoverable.

Solid edge in my opinion would be more successful if they lowered the price slightly, offered a 2 year free maintenance period, and then ask you as new features come out about a 1 off fee.

An excellent software for drawings. Anyone can make simple drawings without the need for prior training.

It is very usefull and easy to learn for mechanical design. I used to use it for elaboration of blueprints and its great.

One downside of Solid Edge is that the learning curve is steep. Since the software has so many features, it can be a little difficult to use at first.

The software runs smooth and fast with effectively designing and Modeling parts and Assemblies. When Compared to other CAD Software, Solid Edge is more easy to use and learn.

In general, the design process with solid edge is faster and efficient. So it helps to improve the company in many areas.

The drawing options are very good and quality drafts are produced in very little time. The software is more powerful and stable than some other brands and the support staff in Australia is fantastic.

Finite Element Analysis (FEA) or stress simulation cannot be done in this software.

It is very good in 3D modeling for machine design and part drawing. Also it can be used for simulation and stress analysis which is very good feature that add to the value of the application.

Solid Edge has many good things like user-friendly and having a wide range of functions, but it actually I most liked was the integration with Siemens peripheral tools.

Some command buttons can't be find easily, you have to dig into to find the hidden buttons.

Very useful and good for engineers. Making 2d and 3d drawings.

What is best and easy i like it in solid Edge is 2D drawing cad tools , 3D tools , Selecting plane and surface and assembling.

As for my experience with solid edge over 6 months, I have found this software was easy to use for drawing 3D models.

The software should not proceed for next design steps if there is error in sketching.

This is a good tool for anyone who needs to get into CAD.
