Best Provision Software I've Tried
The excel add-in makes importing / exporting data extremely easy. We've been able to reconfigure our standard excel based provisions into an importable format for ease of reviewing but then still have the data in LV to consolidate.
CONSThere are random items LV doesn't have fully built out. For them most part it is great, but every now and then our consultant tells us of a workaround we need to use.
Reason for choosing Longview Tax
Ease of use and the excel add in. The price point is quite high, which is why we contemplated not using Longview.

Longview Tax
Performs calculations as expected, best feature would be the Excel functionality to push/pull data. This allows us to bridge all our support documents to Longview. And pull mass amounts of data as needed, in customized Excel formats.
CONSCan be clunky, not the most user friendly interface.

Longview Tax
As a recent college graduate entering the workforce, Longview Tax has been my introduction to tax software, and I've been particularly impressed by its Excel plug-in capabilities. Being able to seamlessly integrate with Excel has streamlined my workflow and made data management much more efficient. It's a feature I've come to rely on and appreciate in my day-to-day tasks.
CONSOne drawback I've encountered with Longview Tax is the occasional need to refresh my workbook multiple times after pushing data into Longview. This process can be time-consuming and disrupts workflow, especially when ensuring accuracy is crucial. While it's not a major issue, it's something that could be improved for a smoother user experience.

Best Provision Software
The Excel add-in facilitates the push/pull of data between the software and Excel so that models can be maintained in Excel and easily updated.
CONSThe cost per user is high so access must be limited
