Finally an Accounting Software that meets all my needs

PROS

Financial reporting is a major plus. It offers comprehensive, real-time insights into my business’s financial health. The reports are detailed, yet intuitive, which is crucial for making timely, data-driven decisions. Dashboards are easy to create and can display all of my relevant ratios in real time. The dimensions component is really cool and allows me to stack up all of my different locations to understand what's working and whats not. I can also see all my metrics by location in real time in one dashboard. Offering me more visibility into my financial performance. The general ledger feature is robust yet surprisingly easy to navigate. It allows me to track every financial aspect of my business effortlessly, offering both depth and customization. The suggestive features offer a unique look into things.

CONS

Initially, I found the platform a bit overwhelming. It took some time to familiarize myself with all the features. For those not tech-savvy, the learning curve might be a bit steep. But after a few weeks it felt like tying my shoes.

Reasons for switching to Prismatic

Managing multiple locations was a nightmare in QBO. Prismatic integrates everything under one GL. The ability to run dimensions was also a gamechanger.

Profit and Loss reporting

The people at Prismatic are super knowledgeable and friendly. They seemed to really care about our business, getting to know us, documenting our goals and aligning the solution to solve for our challenges and get us ready to scale. Most software vendors we work with we don't really know or couldn't even name our account manager, but Prismatic's executive team meets with us regularly and responds to our emails which is pretty impressive.

PROS

How easy it is to set up and start using. My team and I learned everything we needed to start using it in less than an hour. Reporting is much much better than what we were getting out of Quickbooks. It even has a pretty slick user interface for setting up dashboards. We project our financial dashboards here in the corporate offices and get to watch the numbers in real time. Makes it easy to slice and dice by department, revenue source, employee, location, vendor, etc.

CONS

Cost: It's definitely a little more expensive than Quickbooks, but not as crazy as NetSuite so I guess not that bad.

Reason for choosing Prismatic

Service, ease of use, time to implement, value.

Reasons for switching to Prismatic

We had two separate Quickbooks files. Consolidating was a pain. Reporting was lackluster.
