Eventzilla is a cloud-based event management solution that enables businesses of all sizes to create an event page, send email invitations and collect payments online. The solution can also be accessed through mobile apps available for Android and iOS devices. Eventzilla can be used for festivals, conferences, fundraising events, concerts, classes, networking activities, sports and many more.

Eventzilla enables event managers to create customized event registration questions to collect attendee information such as company name, designation and food preferences. Users can also create discount codes and offer special pricing to repeat customers. Attendees can use the mobile check-in feature, which enables users to scan QR codes.

Eventzilla offers other features including social-media promotion, on-site ticket sales, attendee-list export, badge creation, private-event management and many more. The solution also offers a knowledge base which helps new users create and manage an event.

Great for non-profit events

We use it to register kids for our Awana program. So far I have yet to find anything that works as well as Eventzilla does.

Pros

It's ability to create a limited number of tickets for multiple catagories that respond individually rather than to close down the entire event.

Cons

The inability to rename "tickets" to anything else. Seats, openings, etc.

Great Event Management Software

I have used for years for both a High School Reunion and several golf tournaments. It works well. Keeps the Management of attendees.

Pros

Allows you to quickly setup an event, set the Venue, Set the Tickets. Accept Payments. Notifies you of Purchases. Generally a one stop for the Event. It can handle any type of event.

Cons

Did not find it sooner. Would be better if you could spread payments using WEPAY instead of PayPal.

It may be a feature but I have not found it. That would be a General Ticket is taken down by a 4 Ticket Purchase. I use Eventzilla for a golf tournament but I have several tickets that are for 4 golfers. We also sell singles. I would like it if I could reduce the Single Player count when a Foursome was purchased. I now do that manually.

Eventzilla review

My experience was easy. I truly have no complaints. Using this software made the event planning experience a lot less stressful.

Pros

I knew nothing about Eventzilla before I used it. I found it very easy to learn, very easy to use and the data that I was able to see was exactly what I needed to manage my event.

Cons

It was a little tough to navigate to the place where I could see total site views. If total site/event views were easier to navigate to, then there would be no cons to the software.

Eventzilla Review

I'm very satisfied with Eventzilla.

Pros

Free and easy. It was just what I wanted.

It also has a lot of features to grow into, so I wasn't worried about outgrowing it.

Cons

I feel like some of it is personal taste and preference, but I do not care for the UI much at all.

I'm not saying it's terrible, but it is far from great.

Mostly good, but some added features could help

Pros

Comprehensive package, ease of use, easy to design and set up registration pages. Looks aesthetically pleasing when completed. No glitches encountered.

Cons

Some features were harder to find on the dashboard than anticipated, i.e. comp tickets and discount codes. Even after reading the FAQ, I had to enter it twice because the feature was not easily found.

Main issue was with registration list. Often times, we have guests that have their colleagues register them for the event but this does not get reflected on the guest list. Similar issue was had when multiple tickets were purchased because it does not specify all the guests. Adding names of guests field when purchasing tickets would make the registration list more simple.

Eventzilla youth event review

Average. The apps kept crashing during check in process making it quite hard to check in 600 people. Quite hard to make one of discount codes.

Pros

That I could embed into a website for ease of use.

Cons

No at the door ticket sales and forms to allow for custom questions at the door. Not being able to use a credit card without using an external payment processing system which you have to pay for as well.

Great Alternative for Eventbrite, But Lacking Ease of Use

We are seeing more engagement and orders with Eventzilla than our previous platform. We're glad to see the uptick and we think by using the newer features they offer, we can increase attendance even more.

Pros

Eventzilla charges lower fees per transaction than Eventbrite, so that was a huge draw for us to make the switch. We love that the service emails us every time someone orders a ticket -- really helpful for staying on top of our event. The layout of the published event is simple and allows users to quickly get the information about the event they need.

Cons

A few things could be improved on this service, but overall we're happy. The one major thing we don't love is that there are too many tabs on the left hand navigation to update and design your event. The software claims to be super quick and easy but it's definitely more clunky and has a more difficult navigation than other event services we've used.

Pros

Super easy to set up an event. Excellent batch of features such as mailing lists and registration type filtration. Only site we use for hosting events!

Cons

The costs add up with any ticket-hosting software, but that's the only thing would could complain about and it's an industry issue, not Eventzilla's issue.

Pros

Event and promotions for any activity and sharing and collecting payment on the go for with your collegues and friends. without begging for money towards collegues and friends.

Great for Event Management

Very positive. I tried a bunch of other Event managers and this one was the most flexible for my needs of scheduling a dinner for my scout troop.

Pros

It was easy to setup and configure to personalize for my Boy Scout troop. It was also free for the type of events that we host from time to time.

Cons

Some of the options we a bit challenging to find, and I had to dig through menus to get to them. Perhaps a single page with more of the options would be better than multiple pages tied together with navigation.

Great tool for organising events

We've used eventzilla to organise our national fundraising challenge events, allowing people to sign up for mountain climbs and pay for their ticket at the same time as accepting T&C's and finding out more information about the event. It was really easy to set up and to manage the event and much easier than dealing with hundreds of emails!

Pros

It's easy to use and simple to personalise the events to incorporate your own branding and design. The notification settings are also easy to adjust to suit and reporting works really well. There are a lot of functions for a simple looking interface.

Cons

Nothing, it all does what we want it to!
