Eventzilla is a cloud-based event management solution that enables businesses of all sizes to create an event page, send email invitations and collect payments online. The solution can also be accessed through mobile apps available for Android and iOS devices. Eventzilla can be used for festivals, conferences, fundraising events, concerts, classes, networking activities, sports and many more.

Eventzilla enables event managers to create customized event registration questions to collect attendee information such as company name, designation and food preferences. Users can also create discount codes and offer special pricing to repeat customers. Attendees can use the mobile check-in feature, which enables users to scan QR codes.

Eventzilla offers other features including social-media promotion, on-site ticket sales, attendee-list export, badge creation, private-event management and many more. The solution also offers a knowledge base which helps new users create and manage an event.

Eventzilla is a go-to for professional events

Eventzilla takes a lot of payment options and that's what makes it so useful.

Pros

I like the widgets in this web based software which allows you take registration through your website and really leverage social promotions.

Cons

Not all the menu options are intuitive. Though you have a flexible theme designer, you figure they should let you totally customized the GUI to your satisfaction.

I had a problem with funds from ticket sales being available before the event date launch....which is important if ticket sales are a primary revenue base to pay entertainment

Pros

The software was very easy to navigate and I especially enjoyed the ease of use of the invite. Everything linked up perfectly , there were no errors at all related to functionality.

Cons

I would have to say in comparison to Eventbrite , Eventzilla wasn't as connected to the google search engines as immediately as Eventbrite. I expected to be live on the web search engines much sooner then I was.

Another way to Get Tickets Without Finding out Their Fake

My experience has so far been fine. I haven't used it as a default but some event organizers have chosen this platform, so I've had a chance to check it out.

Pros

The cloud based operation makes it less likely tickets will get lost, or in the worst situations (of which many of us have experienced) tickets that aren't actually real.

Cons

The Website is a little convoluted and pretty difficult to navigate. I think with a little work this can be a strong substitute for current hegemon of ticket brokers.

If you need support, good luck.

We're actively looking into using Eventbrite. Having a pretty map isn't worth all this headache.

Pros

Being able to use an image in the seating reservation map

Cons

Their system had a bug where confirmed bookings weren't being marked as unavailable to new users, meaning every seat would open up for double booking after being purchased. After babysitting our event orders for duplicates and getting no response from support over the weekend, we finally got a response that they fixed it. So far they've offered no explanation and haven't actually fixed our existing orders being open to duplicates.

Big Ticket Platform For Any Size Event

We run many cultural events and performances, all free of charge. So we needed a professional solution for ticket handling that solves many logistic issues, starting with ticket sale windows, personel, ticket printing and event entrance control. With Eventzilla we solved all these issues and many more. Social marketing gets boosted on the fly and post event CRM is pretty cool and helpful also.

Pros

Everything! It's really easy to set up and to customize your event tickets. Plus the fact that you can do check-ins with a barcode scanner or your mobile phone gives your attendees a much better impression of your events. Social media promotion is a great plus, but getting feedback from your attendees with customizable surveys gives Eventzilla a big plus over other ticket software.

Cons

No sitting map configuration yet. Other than that, everything is great.

Pros

I loved the feature to email all registrants directly with any changes or updates. I also liked that each registrant received a ticket that included the meals they selected.

Cons

Easy to use for simple events

We have used Eventzilla for 6 events in the past year and with only one exception (a personal development conference with 17 breakout session choices) Eventzilla was easy to set up and use. The mobile app was also very easy to check attendees in with.

Pros

Eventzilla is very easy to setup and the payment options are simple to implement. Fees are also very reasonable and less than other services like EventBrite. We also like the mobile ticket, QR code, and printout options.

Cons

For complex events (with multiple tracks or breakout sessions) Eventzilla doesn't always do what you need it to do.

User friendly, clean design

Generally, Eventzilla was a great event planning and registration tool. Fees were somewhat high, but typical and expected for one of these services. WePay sent monthly payouts rather than a single payout after our event, which would have been preferable.

Pros

It was very easy to navigate and layouts were aesthetically pleasing.

The ticketing fees and using WePay for payouts.

Efficient way to register people for events

Pros

Easily and efficiently send event invites to large numbers of people, allowing rapid response and simple recording. Great for any size of groups, for casual events.

Our organization uses the tickets for dinner events, courses, and gift cards. We are limited in what we can raffle and be supported with.

Pros

Ease to setup account, create organization tailored tickets, and be live within minutes.
Important to have Eventzilla review your business as well as whoever who choose to do the credit card transactions. Some types of transactions are not supported by every card processor and can be disappointing to find-out later when you have a ticket live that it gets shut down. Core value proposition for our org is we are too small and too few transactions to get into a merchant account cost effectively....so the pay as you go model is ideal.

Cons

We found no major issues. We did review EventBrite and Picatic (now part of EventBrite).

It was simple to use as a first time user, the pricing and plans were pretty straightforward and devoid of any hidden "gotchas" and it did exactly what I had hoped for in helping to manage my event

Best entry-level ticket sales/reg platform online

We needed an online system to take hundreds of solo,duet, trio dance registrations for a video dance contest as well as to process ticket sales for the live event. We needed it to have low fees (or zero) as well as the ability to pass on fees to the customer. Eventzilla did all of this easily! From customizing the registration forms to processing refunds and exporting reports - it was a breeze!

Everything! Very user friendly interface, all of the basic features anyone would need and the price is right!

Cons

It would have been nice to be able to completely customize the ticket/reg main page a bit more.
