ExpoPass.com is an efficient attendance tracking solution

Moreover, ExpoPass prioritizes data security and privacy. The platform employs encryption protocols and takes necessary measures to protect attendee data, ensuring that sensitive information remains confidential and secure. This is a crucial aspect, especially considering the increasing importance of data protection and privacy regulations.

PROS

The ability to track attendance in real-time is a significant advantage of ExpoPass. Event organizers can monitor attendee check-ins instantly, providing valuable insights into attendance patterns and allowing for prompt adjustments or interventions if needed. This feature greatly enhances the event management process and enables better decision-making based on accurate attendance data.

CONS

Highly Recommend!

From the demo video I watched when researching products, to this current day, I have had a contact respond and assist me with literally any need I have had. The event manager feature is genius- Tom was amazing, so patient and always worked to solve any hurdle I encountered. The attendees raved about the simplicity and ease of check in, saying "that's it??!" They loved the app feature, having access to materials directly on their phone, building their conference schedule and being able to access session materials they weren't able to attend was a huge hit!

PROS

Having ONE customer service contact from the start of my contract, to the end to help me manage my event was brilliant. My event manager was so supportive with any question or guidance I needed and would never hesitate to record a video of him completing the task I needed help with to send over to me as a resource!

CONS

My only con would be technology is always amazing until it gets a mind of its own- which happens. We had a glitch when checking in with attendees needing to change the email address associated with their registration, that caused the system to be confused. This was more a technology issue than an Expo issue, but the team worked diligently and quick to help us solve it during registration and even indicated they were working to solve the issue for future users.

Reasons for switching to Expo Pass

The cost of EXPO was more product for less, the customer service was leaps and bound better and the overall ease of check in for our attendees was seamless. They loved having access to the app during the conference, building their schedule and access to speaker info/materials even post event!

Expo Pass Is Fantastic!

We are pleased to have partnered with Expo Pass and look forward to continuing the partnership.

PROS

Set up was a breeze on-site! I always worry that we will have trouble with new equipment but everything is labeled nicely, the guide is easy to follow and having the tech call with someone who will walk you through everything and test everything is a dream!

CONS

The only con is having to design the badge shell pretty far in advance. We choose to print our schedule on the back, but unfortunately had to make some time changes, which frequently happens in event planning. This led to the schedule on the badges being incorrect, thankfully we use a conference app so this wasn't a huge concern in the long run.

We had a bad on-site experience with them during our last conference.

Easy to Use For Event Registration, Badge Printing, and Vendor Management

Excellent. Expo pass has very good customer support for setting up events and also great support onsite as well for our events.

PROS

Easy to use registration forms that deploy fast on our website. We also love the note taking function for vendors when they have booth visitors.

CONS

Currently they have a new interface and also a classic interface. Need to combine into one.

No problem seen as of now. They are continuously improving the user interface and offered features are getting enhanced. No issues faced as such.

Perfect for badge printing

They worked on short notice to get us set up as a new customer, answer the million questions I had, and were with us every step of the way to ensure we were prepared for our event. I really liked how customizable the badges were too.

PROS

Delivery of the kiosks and printers was on time and secure. Setup was simple and the overall labeling and boxing of the equipment made it easy to follow. When the event was over, we simply packed it and left it for pickup.

CONS

Because we used a third party registration system, we did have some issues with our external QR codes not always syncing. This was minimal but did cause disruption for a few of our guests.

Functionality of integration with existing registration software and QR code. Expo Pass was the only provider who could assure us that our QR codes would work.

Best Registration Process We've Ever Had!

I would definitely recommend Expo Pass to anyone looking for onsite badge printing! They were able to integrate with our registration system and the entire process was very seamless and easy to implement. Our conference attendees raved about how great their check-in process was!

PROS

To start, the Expo Pass team was fantastic! Super helpful, quick to respond, and understood our concerns with implementing a brand new registration system. The team was patient, helpful, reassuring, and made sure our event was set up for success before and during the show. Set up was a breeze and they provided extremely detailed instructions along with virtual support during set up.

CONS

The only thing I would have done different is finding and implementing Expo Pass earlier on in our process. We were on a bit of a time crunch but we were still able to get everything done and ready for our conference.

Very easy to use.

My event this year was a success. My board and previous attendee said registration was the smoothest it's ever been.

PROS

Expo Pass is very easy to use & your Event Success Manager is there every step of the way to make sure your event is a success.

CONS

There were a few minor details that we were able to work around. My Event Success Manager put the problems in the queue for IT to hopefully work on.

Cvent is a good product also, but for a small association and a one-person staff, it was cumbersome.

Super Easy Option

Easy to Use and Affordable Event Management and Registration Platform

Expo Pass allowed us to create and customize online registration forms for our event that we could easily integrate into our existing websites. The process was simple and quick. Attendee management is easy and our team picked up on it quickly. We also used the event app and started to try out session tracking, and will continue to build on proper use of these functions with future events. For one event, we paid extra for the on-site badge printing function and it was seamless, updated instantly, and impressed our attendees while keeping the check-in lines quick. At another event, to save money, we printed the badges ourselves and were equally impressed with the easy process. I wish it was a bit less expensive to have on-site badge printing added per event, but otherwise, we found the cost of this platform and the features to match our needs well.

PROS

Registration set-up and management are easy with Expo Pass. We dove in quickly and set up our event in a short time frame. It is affordable, especially if printing your own badges, and easy to use. The support for this product is top notch and the on-site badge printing was impressive.

CONS

Compared to other registration platforms, Expo Pass perhaps doesn't have as many bells, whistles, and customization/integration options, but we found that the simplicity of this platform met our needs and at a lower cost, which was great.

The cost option offered to us was the best. The support and follow-up was excellent. We were slightly hesitant to commit to this product because of the lack of reviews, but have been really pleasantly surprised by Expo Pass and the support team throughout the entire process.

Badge Printing

Expo Pass swooped in when we were having a very difficult time with another badge printing provider we had been using. We made a last minute decision to change providers, and Expo Pass was there every step of the way. We were in a huge time crunch, plus implementing this new program through the holidays didn't help things, but the team at Expo Pass was able to pull everything we needed together and we were set with time to kill! We chose to have the team help us set up for our 1800 person event virtually, and it couldn't have been easier! The boxes that the equipment ships in is superb, there is a lock on every box, and there were step by step instructions if I had forgotten anything when moving our registration table downstairs the following day. A huge step up with lots of room to grow should we choose!

PROS

Ease of use, included router (no third party rentals needed), the ability to customize the artwork for name badges, the printers for the badges.

CONS

I would love to have some sort of status bar that lists how many people have checked in vs registered. Since we do a white glove service and check in and print name badges for our attendees, it's nice to be able to see where you are at.

Reasons for switching to Expo Pass

Terrible customer service, lots of excuses on why people were not showing as checked in within the system, multiple issues with the product going down in the middle of registrations. Eventually did some digging and found my contact was laid off, and I have yet to get a response to my inquiries regarding their failed service.

Best platform for event management and registration

We were able to simply incorporate our event's online registration forms that we created and customised with Expo Pass into our pre-existing websites. The procedure moved quickly and easily. Attendee management is simple, and our staff rapidly mastered it. We also used the event app and began experimenting with session monitoring; we will keep improving on the appropriate usage of these features with subsequent events. We paid extra for the on-site badge printing feature for one event, and it impressed our attendees and kept the check-in lines moving quickly while being smooth and updating instantaneously. We printed the badges ourselves at a different event to save money, and we were equally pleased with how simple it was.We found the price of this platform and the functionality to be in line with our demands, although I wish adding on-site badge printing for each event wasn't so pricey.

PROS

With Expo Pass, registration setup and administration are simple. We jumped right in and rapidly organised our event. It is inexpensive and simple to use, especially if you create your own badges. The on-site badge printing was outstanding, and the support for this product is excellent.

CONS

Expo Pass may not have as many frills, whistles, and customization/integration possibilities as other registration platforms, but we found that its simplicity matched our needs and came in at a reduced price, which was wonderful.

Expo Pass Does What it Claims

The team members at Expo Pass are very easy to work with and take to heart the questions and problems you have to help solve and get you up and running as fast as you need. They also work with you on your contracts and keep in mind the cost of running a registration system and the impact it has on your bottom line.

PROS

Setting up the registration page is very user friendly and if there are any problems you have a one on one customer support team member who gets back to you almost immediately.

CONS

I would like for the first part of the registration page to be able to have the last name listed first and the first name after.

So far, so good. Looking forward to continuing to become more familiar and using this product for future events.

PROS

Registration features are the most important for my organization. The product seems fairly easy to use and the fact that this is year number two for us utilizing the platform says its a hit amongst my department.

CONS

I believe the prompt and friendly customer assistance minimizes any concern for the product not being easy to navigate. There are constant upgrades made as we have noticed additions to the software since last using it.

First time In-Person Event

Expo Pass replaced our badge printing solution, our lead retrieval solution, and our registration solution. So all in all it was worth it. We did have to work through using an additional platform to accomplish the live agenda issue.

PROS

The setup was fairly easy for our in-person event. The registration was very smooth on-site and the assistance received was top-notch.

CONS

There is no interactive agenda that can be embedded in our site (however, the registration form can be). I think the back end could be more intuitive, i.e. the custom registration questions could not be placed where we needed them, and we had to make most fields custom for the registration form flow to make sense (and they had to build it for us after multiple unsuccessful attempts). I'd like to see better reporting, i.e., they had to send me a custom report to see who actually printed a badge and showed up on-site - this was not self-service.

Expo Pass was a game changer for our events

PROS

Expo Pass and its customer service team have made our onsite process for internal staff and attendees a wonderful experience. We have had so many compliments on the ease of use of this new process from our attendees, they love it! This system eliminates the need to pre-print badges weeks in advance and allows you to pivot onsite as needed. No more backup plans or stressing about last-minute changes onsite to printed badges. Their back end allows you to easily update badges and reprint them onsite with little effort. The Expo Pass system is amazing and if I had to do it all over again, I would make the same choice.

CONS

A con that was quickly solved: Because our events are multi-day events, the badge stock did not hold up for our first few meetings earlier in the year for several of our attendees. Expo Pass quickly suggested that we purchase a badge sleeve to solve for multi-day events concern.

Great team behind the product, but a little expensive for a small business.

Very happy with the company and product! Our attendees have generally had high praise, and I've even heard "This is the best event app I've ever used!" once or twice. The badging experience has bad top tier - our attendees love the simplicity and our team loves the speed at which we can get people checked in. Besides the price being a little high for our small business, we are very happy with Expo Pass and are excited to see it grow and add new features.

PROS

Clean, easy to use UI. Team behind the product is fantastic. Few to no bugs or issues. Customizable and adaptable to our needs.

CONS

Occasional bugs or issues with phone app. Magic links seem to be foreign concepts to most users. A touch expensive for a small business.

The Best Registration and Badge Printing

PROS

It is the easiest badge printing and registration services to use. The Team at Expo Pass is also the best to work with.

We do want chip readers to be integrated.

Register and Manage Event Attendees with Ease using ExpoPass

PROS

The system was easy to use and interface friendly. The badges printed nicely and looked very professional. We really appreciated how attentive and supportive our ExpoPass team and customer service was during the whole process.

CONS

There's a lack of ability to customize the look of the links and interfaces of ExpoPass. It would be nice to have more options to customize to your personal branding so that it all looked seamless

Expo Pass is a Game Changer!

PROS

We loved how easy Expo Pass is to use. From the initial sales call to the day of our event, we had no issues with the platform. Our attendees, staff and vendors all loved this and we've already recommended Expo Pass to several companies.

CONS

Our Andriod users had a few issues getting the app to work, but all of the issues were resolved by tech support.

Reasons for switching to Expo Pass

Boomset by Hopin was getting rid of the on-demand badge printing. Additionally, they lacked tech support and we had issues with their printers and ipads.

Great Product!

From sales to implementation and IT to close-out, we had a wonderful experience and look forward to using ExpoPass in the future.

PROS

We had the best team helping us through the ExpoPass process. Everything was a 10/10 with customer service, responsiveness, sales, equipment, and implementation.

CONS

We did encounter an issue with importing data. We aren't sure what the glitch was, but it, unfortunately made importing a little tricky.

ExpoPass provided us with equipment rental and registration software.

Expo was easy to use abd the staff were amazing!

Excellent customer support.

PROS

Ease of use and the ability to process payments directly from the iPad while registering.

CONS

The cost is very high for a small non profit like NHA. Also the payment awipes duid not perform well, which caused a lot of people to switch iPad and reenter all their info.

Great Online Registration System

Over all our experience has been great espeically the customer service.

PROS

Our members are not tech savy so the ease of you using this system is what we like most.

CONS

We host small programs of 50 and not being able to customize how many badges are pre-printed is very wastefull. Also, there needs to be a better way of seeing who checked in and who did not.

The price point matched our budget.

I would say its fine.

I liked the ease of setting up the machines for registration.

They over promised and could not deliver.
