Ideal RepliWeb MFT Replacement (Ethically Priced, Enterprise Level Software)

Our client didn't want to be in the position of having unsupported software for too long and it's almost been six months since RepliWeb's End of Life and end of support for that software. We had a great experience from the first initial call. It was refreshing to deal with a team that were honest but confident in their solution. They always had time to answer our questions and would update us about the development of v9.1.

PROS

The PGP Encryption, Automation and Replication capabilities of this software appealed greatly as our client was seeking out a replacement for RepliWeb. The cost for our needs was by far the most competitive within the market.

CONS

The only one thing we can honestly mention is the fact we had to wait for the release of v9.1 to fully move away from RepliWeb but the team at Coviant listened to our needs and requirements and acted swiftly and pushed forward to release this version.

Reason for choosing Diplomat Managed File Transfer

Price and seemed to lack that personal touch.

Reasons for switching to Diplomat Managed File Transfer

Qlik (owners of the Attunity and Repliweb products) announced RepliWeb End of Life to happen on 31st January 2022.

Strong Feature Set, Great Value

Kicked the tires with the trial version. Liked what I saw. Liked that Coviant was there every step of the way to answer questions. Customer Support is handled by the company, not outsourced.

PROS

Coviant comes out of the box with a standard set of features that meet 90% of your needs. No need to mess with customization (which is often touted as a benefit, but MFT should not be complicated). You can't beat the price, it's super easy to install, and is reliable.

CONS

To date I have had no issues that would qualify as "cons."

Reason for choosing Diplomat Managed File Transfer

Diplomat had all the features I needed at a MUCH more attractive price.

Excellent customer support & responsiveness

PROS

Coviant does a great job supporting their product. That is increasingly rare these days. Of all of the products we use in our enterprise Diplomat is one we can get immediate support for in the event that we have any questions or issues.

CONS

On occasion we find it lacks functionality we require but this is taken into consideration by them for addition into future versions of Diplomast.

File transfer and management in easy mode

PROS

This software performs an excellent job at assisting with their software. These days, it's becoming increasingly unusual. With Diplomat, we have the most instant access to help with any inquiries or problems we may have. Thanks to the intuitive setup of windows, setting up a program is a pleasure.

CONS

To make troubleshooting any problem easier, several of the supporting functions may need to be upgraded. The log files are lengthy and challenging to decipher. The archiving and cleaning software encountered a problem with file locking. Occasionally, we find it lacking in usability. However, this is considered for future releases from the news I have read.

Coviant Diplomat automate Secure file transfer admirably and cost effective option.

We used Coviant Diplomat to send Secure file transfer to Bank and receive back acknowledgment files. With the help from Software Engineer, the initial set up was rather quick. The stabilization period took a bit of time to work through all the different scenarios. Overall, it is a quality and cost-effective option for our purpose.

PROS

The knowledge of the Software engineer and support really helps make the implementation effective & rapid and the support team has superior knowledge and always available when I need it. The software set up screens are simple and fit the purpose. Not too much unnecessary bell and whistle.

CONS

Some of the supporting features could be improved to make troubleshoot any issue easier. Log files are long and take a bit to understand. Archiving & clean up utility run into file locking issue.
