It has been a delightful experience for over a decade. I am very pleased with recent (last few years) expansion of services to cover states.

Retains previously entered information. Allows multiple entities for one account. Handles all forms I need for my business and personal life.

Sometimes I need to really examine the forms listed to make sure I am using the correct item. You need to KNOW the form numbers.

I've been using Tax1099 for many years and have been happy with the experience.

For a very reasonable fee, they will efile, mail and email your annual 1099s. Great since I can keep the history for multiple clients, makes filing each year easier.

Can be a bit hard to navigate and find the filings once you've submitted.

Year after year, I use them because I can't find an alternative. However, every year it's an incredible fail how they manage to be consistently as bad and buggy, but DIFFERENT! It's like they try to fix stuff throughout the year but each thing they fix or add, something else breaks are starts acting strange. Here is a review from last year I posted on their Facebook that shows the problems I had with them at that time: ------------------------------- Absolute failure. Site was crashing, nobody responding to chat, and their toll free number instantly goes to a message that says "Sorry, this mail box is full, Good bye". Maybe if you just need to submit a few 1099s, they are ok. If you need to manage records and use the system to handle W9s and mass import data, it's abissmal. Seriously poor execution from start to finish. TAX1099, 2 steps to improve your service: 1) Hire more support staff and answer the phones, particulary during the busy time of year. You are guys knew this was coming, this is the name of your company! 1099! Prepare for it! 2) Clean up your service. There are so many bugs, basic features that are missing, and existing features that have been so poorly implemented, they are useless.

It's one of the only companies I've found that allow you to bulk manage online W9 requests and then later submit 1099 via spreadsheet imports

It's just awful. It barely works. There are so many bugs it's unreal, like, completely and utterly unreal how bad their site is. A lot of stuff doesn't work and if it does, it doesn't work right at all. They do not provide any support around tax season. Either they just don't bother and stop looking at complaints or they just can't handle the workload. Also, this month they removed their live chat feature. I guess they just can't handle it. I just submitted 300 forms to submit for 1099s. Everything was fine until the very last step where they ask you to select all the forms you want to submit. They broke my submission into 3 pages without an option to show all forms on one page. So I just selected all of the forms on the first page and submitted. Now I can't go back and submit the remaining ones - It's gone. Plus, I have no idea which were actually submitted. And support has gone on vacation.

9/10 rating. The easiest and least expensive option to provide my bookkeeping clients for processing their 1099's every year.

The ease in which I can sync this product to the backend of Quickbooks Online.

Not having an option to give my clients their own login to access their reports.

Overall it is a good experience. Overall easy to use!

Masking and unmasking SS# or EIN# sometimes does not work. Saving as a PDF is too many steps

The Tax1099 has made my 1099 filing much easier and more efficient.

Tax1099 is much better than manually printing and mailing my 1099 forms. I can get more done quicker.

I had an issuing filing a quartey 941 but i don't remember why.

I love it so much. I lost track of time but I was able to get my 1099 MISC filed before the deadline.

Quick and efficient. There is a learning curve I had to get over but once I did the process was good to go.

Tax1099.com is a great solution for us. We are a small company in multiple states and it makes our filing easy to process and on-time.

Simple to use, and it doesn't cost as much as QuickBooks are other 3rd party solutions. The verification and confirmation is a nice feature so you know you get things done right the first time.

The Zendesk on the email titles worries people I send an advance email notice out to help validate its real and not SPAM or Phishing.

Overall I think Tax 1099.com is a lifesaver for me and what I do and need to do.

I think that it is there to use and login to and ease of use.

I can't think of any cons that I would need to point out.

Overall I'm very pleased with Tax 1099. Tax1099 definitely falls int he "working smarter, not harder" realm!

Tax1099 was instrumental in keeping me out of the mundane parts of inputting, gathering, and producing forms 1099.

Adding another integration and documenting the use of such integration adds a small amount of administrative work on the backside.

Overall, I have been somewhat happy. The previous tax preparation information was not inclusive as to OID forms.

I like that they have all the IRS forms I need. 1099 A-B-C and OIDs.

It's sometimes hard to navigate and impossible to make corrections.

I have not used the customer service because I have not needed it. It's easy to use.

I like that the data entry looks just like the form. The dashboard uses dots of different colors to show where you are at in the process. Entered, submitted, waiting for IRS to show received or completed. Also, I can have them emailed or mailed and I am done. I pass the reasonable cost on to my client. The state is filed too. Easy to do and no guessing what is happening. And I pay as I use it.

I would like to see the dashboard condensed so I can see more in a glance. You can change it to show a lot of client accounts but I would like to see more in a glance. Maybe double stacked. Very minor.

I like it very much, and I plan on to continue to use it.

I like the way it's so user friendly. I don't feel lost or unable to locate what Iam looking for because it is right there.

I don't like where the curser placement is in the data entering boxes. It moves to the end.

Overall is good experience - but only because it is my second year working with the system and because we have an account rep whom I can emails. PLEASE FIX YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE! AI chat box is not very helpful. Right now help is basically non-existent.

Ease of use, ability to manage team, ability to use API

Ever since you switched to AI chat, customer service has been an issue. Extremely slow response to emails. No live chat during busy season is a major issue.

The price and ease of use was great. I had no issues once I understood the format.

My experience was excellent, I was going to test it out when I started but I immediately dropped the formal vendor and stick to tax1099 due to efficiency and effectiveness.

Easy to navigate and very easy to use, availability of needed forms, and possible to claim ERC without stress.

I can't say there is something I don't like about tax1099 because I love everything so far.

Switching to Tax1099.com was the best decision I have ever made. Not only because it makes sending out the forms and filing super easy. But I don't have to worry about something getting lost in the mail. One look at the dashboard and I know if everything has been filed and accepted by the IRS. I didn't have that when filing paper forms.

This product has saved me time and money. Prior to using I was buying software and printing and mailing all the 1099's and the 1096's. Now not only can I do the 1099's in half the time but can also be confident that everything is filed on time and completed.

The only thing that I found a bit difficult using this product was if a vendor happened to be in the US military. Entering the address is a bit tricky. But if you used the online help it gives you the exact steps to do so.

I use the social security check function for just one company. Hoping for a way to be able to set up that company so when I log in I won't need to go through so many steps.

Paid service to submit VA tax forms prior to deadline. Received notice for VA Dept of Tax in May that the forms were late. Spent hours trying to rectify this including sending information to Dept of Tax and contacting Tax1099. End result of denial of claim and penalty imposed for late filing. Have requested Tax1099 refund the penalty fee. Have not received the refund as of today. Although customer service has responded quickly to inquires the service I paid for was not performed. Refund of both the late fee and my initial payment is now requested. I will not be using Tax1099 again.

No pros since job paid for was not performed.

Have had nothing but a good experience using the program for my tax needs
