life saver
This app has totally simplified our site survey and photo documentation process. There's a feature similar to zoom that allows you to complete inspections with the input of team members or answer questions of others that may be on an inspection themselves. This takes our collaboration to a new level and avoids critical errors that may take place otherwise. This also helps to avoid re work and makes it more likely that all necessary info is gathered and organized at one shot.
CONSIve had a favorable experience and the company has been surprisingly responsive in answering questions which is very important to me

Easy to use and less expensive than other roof sketch reports
I love the dictation feature so you can label your photos as you are taking them.
CONSYou cannot move multiple photos around at the same time.
Reasons for switching to PHOTO iD
Taking photos in Xactimate mobile take up alot of room and the photo reports are huge. You also have to type in all of the descriptions, so this app saves time.

I would only recommend this app to the patient and tech savy
A fantastic program that desperately needs new developers and a better way to communicate with their tech support staff.
PROSAutomatic photo labeling, annotating and report generation is a massive time saver. The people who answer the phone at their support line are very polite.
CONSWhile our bizarre billing issue has been fixed, I continually notice problems with the way this program frequently fails to sync photos, can sometimes lose them entirely, and for some reason can no longer handle a - or / being added to room names, despite one of the preloaded ones being Foyer/Entry. By far the most infuriating is the utter lack of communication from their support department, despite constant assurances of a call back. I am lucky to even get a "we're looking into it" call back from the people who answer.

I probably wouldn't have if I had any alternatives at the time.

Photo iD Customer Service
This is the sole reason I took time out of my day to write a review. Their customer service is at the highest level. The [sensitive content hidden] and their team has went above and beyond to assist me when a problem has came up while using the app. I had made a promise to a big, new customer, that he would have my report on his desk (email) first thing in the morning. Something had went wrong with the app after a big update, I'm not sure if this was a local issue with just me or a global issue, but when I contacted customer support they spent the whole day working with me to make sure that the problem got resolved and that I could keep my promises to my customer. The owner himself has reached out to me to help solve problems and has spent two hours on the phone listening to my feedback and what features and changes that I would like to see. I don't really know but I'm sure I could find an app that was cheaper or might have more features but based on the customer service alone I wouldn't switch. The ability to get immediate help on solving problems and move on with my work load is where I find the biggest value. I'm very impressed by their commitment to making their product the best it can be.
PROSI like how the app organizes my report and the app itself is customizable to suit the way I want to display the information to my customers.
CONSI don't like how I cannot move multiple pictures at once in the gallery and that I have to manually upload files to the cloud to prevent running out of space.
