Overall it is easy to use and maintain. We find the SmartMatch scheduling to be very helpful and intuitive in getting us good schedules in a very short time frame.

One of the things we struggle the most with is types of user accounts and when a preceptor changes employers being able to disconnect the preceptor from the previous employer and connect them to a new employer without needing to create a whole new user account for them. We also wish there was more connectivity across all platforms for student use. Each element (ELMS, CompMS, Readiness, etc.) seems to be disjointed from each other.

Integration and setup were excellent. We were converted over and trained on a schedule that worked well with our staff.

The match process for scheduling has many levels of settings but there is not a set of instructions or checklists for the user to reference when they are setting up matches.

The support team has been great and are so knowledgeable and accessible! There have been some recent improvements that have been very helpful. Overall, I'm pleased with the product even though I still have a lot of features to learn and implement.

We can pull up a user's profile and find everything we need from their snapshot page: address, schedule, etc. ELMS gives us the "keys to the kingdom," allowing us to select features, options, and functality that works for us. With other software, we tell the support team what we want and they make it happen. With ELMS, we will have the ability (once we know more about what we're doing!) to customize the program in a manner that works for us. One feature that I anticipate setting up in the coming year are site requirements. This was one of the main reasons why we switched to ELMS and I am anxious to see if it works the way I anticipate.

There are a lot of settings "behind the scenes" and it's not always easy to find them without help. Some of the terminology is confusing (surveys versus forms). There should be some step-by-step guides to help do ordinary, recurring tasks such as setting up an academic year. There are help videos that explain features but no checklists that guide us through these tasks that, surely, all schools in our field need to do. I have to create my own "how-to" guides. Of note, our previous software didn't provide this either! Some of the reports contain too much information. Sure, they can be customized (that is, I can remove unneeded columns) and saved. But it's easy to inadvertently save multiple versions of a report and then not be able to tell which ones are the "right" ones and which ones can be deleted. Sometimes when I ask for certain changes, I'm told that other programs use the features that I want changed so my requests cannot be honored. I think it would be great if we had a users group so we could talk to these other programs and find out how/why they are using those features. We would surely benefit from that.

Our School of Pharmacy has discovered the range of features that CORE ELMS contains does meet our needs very well. While we don't take advantage of all the modules, the ones we value the most are the Document Library, Requirements (which make storing documentation for preceptors/sites/students a breeze!), and Evaluations. Every aspect in CORE ELMS appears to have been thoughtfully designed with the various user types in mind and there are updates and refinements that roll out on a regular basis. Their customer service is unmatched; if we have a question, issue, or suggestion for improvement, we always receive a prompt response. Having all of the features contained in one user-friendly management system allows wach and every administrator, student, and preceptor to be most efficient with their time.

Although CORE ELMS isn't the most intuitive for new users, a short orientation to the system is usually all that's needed to familiarize most users to its functionality. While the Notes function is quite helpful, it might be better organized if it had an option to sort by due date, rather than the defauly view.

Very positive, I am grateful for this program as it has made my life as a nursing clinical coordinator much easier.

From a general school perspective, CORE provides a central location for all information related to clinical placements that is needed for our program. This includes information needed for larger requirements such as accreditation and audits with clinical compliance to smaller scale information such as student and instructor scheduling for each course in the curriculum.

There are MANY different locations where settings for various features are turned on and off. This can be cumbersome when trying to troubleshoot an issue, especially when learning the program initially. For example, just to turn scheduling on and off for student/preceptor viewing, there are buttons under Settings, Rotation Date Groups, Rotation Dates, Rotation Types, AND Courses. The support team is great at navigating these settings in a timely manner.

Using Core ELMS has been a great experience for me. It has enabled me to easily manage my courses, keep track of my grades, and access resources like lecture slides and course materials. It also provides helpful features like personalized notifications, a student dashboard, and a student-professor messaging system. The overall user interface is very intuitive, allowing me to easily find the information I need. I find the system to be quite comprehensive, yet simple to use, and I would highly recommend it to other students.

I liked the CORE ELMS software for its ease of use and its ability to quickly and easily manage large-scale projects. The software was designed to be intuitive, providing users with an enjoyable experience as they work on their projects. Moreover, the dashboard provides a centralized view of all activities, making it easy to monitor progress and manage resources.

The CORE ELMS software was a useful tool for many organizations, however, it had several flaws. The biggest issue was that the software was extremely difficult to use and understand. Many users found themselves overwhelmed and frustrated by the multitude of features and options. Additionally, the interface was outdated and not always user-friendly, making it difficult and time consuming to navigate.

My overall experience has been fantastic. Implementing this platform has improved our efficiency and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Core Elms makes it easy to collect all student documents in one place, maintain confidentiality and easily run reports to see if any items are outstanding. The ability to collect student requests for rotations and their preferred locations, then easily match them to the experiences we have has cut down the time I spend on the student matching process significantly.

I wish all my student documents were in one place, I would like to be able to see the forms I have them fill out and evals all in one view so I can check everything at once. I tend to lose things in the system, due to not checking in multiple places. I also wish that student profiles could talk between institutions, so if the student has an account through their university, it would automatically pull my needed documents from their school account.

I could not be happier with my institutions' purchase of CORE ELMS. It has significantly helped my day-to-day activities on the student side as well as the administration side. I would recommend this system to any Pharmacy School looking for one!

I love how easy it is to set up student schedules, access necessary reports, and maintain student documents / requirements. The system is also very useful for messaging mass groups of people regarding availability, schedules, and account information. In addition, the customer support teams are fantastic! They have a dedicated team for your specific institution, and this makes it excessively easy to get in contact with them to have problems resolved quickly!

It takes a little while getting used to all of the main functions within CORE ELMS (because there are so many useful ones). However, after learning the ins and outs (in addition to receiving help from the support team), you can quickly maneuver the system.

It is intuitive and very easy to use for the main aspects of the system. I also very much appreciate that feature updates that are requested by us are taken back to the design team for consideration. The customer support is excellent.

Generating valuable reporting is terrible and the definitive weakness of this program and where competing learning management systems excel. The depth of reporting, ability to generate specific information from reports, how information is pulled, and gather educational outcomes should be improved. Please look into E-Value and their reporting capabilities, which is much better. For example, the data that is pulled depends on whether an evaluation has been inactivated (since a new eval needs to be generated anytime a tweak is made to the evaluation - to avoid losing valuable educational data for reporting on the original version), whether a rotation type is inactivated, and other factors. It is frequent that our team members pull reports for the exact same data but our numbers are completely different. This is because of the complexity of the settings and how reports are run. It can impact the outcome data significantly.

The system is great now that we are figuring out all of its capabilities with our programs.

I like that specific components of the program can be developed to our needs. [SENSITIVE CONTENT] is quick to respond to our "asks". When we needed an additional selection added to clinical hours, it was done in timely manner with explanation of how to implement. [SENSITIVE CONTENT] is so valued by our school. The support she provides is one of the best features of this software!

I don't like having to "figure out" how to do something in the program. Sometimes, I spend several minutes to hours figuring out how to add a feature for our students. However, if I ask [SENSITIVE CONTENT] to show me, she will quickly send a video explaining how to navigate the system. I just don't like bothering her all the time.

I learned how to use CORE Elms a little more than 2 years ago, totally remotely during COVID. Our CORE Elms representative met with me virtually to show me what I needed to know and this worked very well. It was an easy program to learn in a virtual environment, and our representative was patient to answer all my questions and very knowledgeable about the product and how to use it.

Whenever we have a question or need help with something, the CORE Elms representatives are quick to answer and always so very helpful.

The 'save' icon is called "Enter Information" in some areas and "Submit Information" in other areas, which can be confusing for new users, instead of just being called "Save". But once you get used to it you just look for the button and it doesn't really matter exactly what it says.

Scheduling students in our time rather than waiting for a company to do it for us, is great.

There isn't much about CORE ELMS that I don't like. Everything works very well together. We use it mostly for the scheduling option but have been learning about many other options including the messaging to students.

Our team wishes that the emails that come out of CORE ELMS would have our names on it so that the student/preceptor might actually read it. We believe that sometimes they thing it is just a spam message until they get used to it.

It has been great, they listen, they are responsive, and it shows based on their growth in the pharmacy academy. We were 1 of 3 of the 7 schools in Ohio that were using CORE. Now every school in Ohio is using CORE based on our feedback.

Customer service. CORE listens and responds with changes to the software based on client feedback and that has been the way it has been for the last 10 years, thank you!

The scheduling and settings tabs can be alittle overwhelming for the new user. It is great to have many options, it can also be a challenge to have many options.

The support staff is extremely helpful and responsive to any question! This is most appreciated when I am in the midst of trying to perform a task and need an immediate response.

CORE ELMS provides an easy to navigate platform for students, preceptors, and administrators. It features a clean and streamlined look for ease in performing daily functions such as completing tasks, uploading documents, and accessing schedules and reports.

There are so many features that I am sure I do not fully utilize but would like to learn about in my spare time.

CORE Elms is easy to work with. They are open to suggestions and always working to improve the product.

Once you have been trained CORE Elms is easy to use and navigate. There are a variety of features allowing you to tailor it to meet your needs.

You do need to be trained in the different features. Due to so many different options it can feel overwhelming. They do offer a video training series, but due to the number of training videos it can be hard to find what you want or need. The SmartMatch can be difficult to use.

The software allows me to perform clinical scheduling, track field encounters, log student Absences and incidents, and track Various requirements from Hospital credentialing documents to preceptor licenses, board certification, and affiliation agreements. Reporting tool helps with auditing These requirements and checking for currency.

The software can be cumbersome because it is so highly customizable and there are numerous locations where settings may overlap which can create confusion.

My overall experience with CORE ELMS (as a user in a higher education setting) has been positive. It serves as our hub for nearly all of our student/preceptor needs and much of our records management needs. The customer service has been consistently outstanding. The biggest issue we encounter are recurring difficulties/hurdles with reporting. Solutions are in the works and we're hopeful for the future of our CORE ELMS account.

The software is intuitive, making it easy to use and easy to train others to use. The customer service team is responsive, taking user needs and wishes into consideration. They will work with you to customize the product to your needs.

Any features we would like to see are communicated with our customer service team and added to the development list.

I have been using CORE ELMS for over 4 years. I appreciate that system updates are always taking place and the guided instructions provided are very helpful. I like that CORE personnel listen to our needs and works with our requests for new changes.

What I like more about CORE is the ease of use (it is VERY user friendly) and the customer service.

Sometimes it can be neccessary to maipulate data (delete columns, rearrange things, etc.) to get exactly what I need.

Overall pretty good. Good support; easy to work with.

Fairly intuitive in most areas. I would say that there are a lot of pluses in how you set up sites and do the research system for students and requests from preceptors.

Sometimes hard to customize or navigate and find things. Can't change rotations without an addition and deletion process.

I most like the ability to do so many different activities within the same product such as tracking hours, preceptor requests, evaluations, communication, etc.

We occasionally had to wait extended periods of time for alterations in the functionality to be made. These were customizations so I understand the delay to some degree.

I really cannot complain with the program as it has the options that we need. However, with time I would like to learn more of what it can do.

This software is fairly easy to maneuver in . Great customer service and lots of avenues to learn about this software. I do enjoy setting up reports to capture exactly what you need in that report. Very versatile.
