Labelview is simple to use and dependable. Their customer service rep. that you have to call for replacement ribbons and labels is excellent. When I called she knew everything I needed and took care of me. The labels I need to print for our customers get printed daily without any complications. You can't ask for a better product.

Labelview is extremely easy to use. When you work in a field trying to accommodate the wants of different customers, you don't have the time or patience to purchase difficult products. Reliable and Easy are the best qualities.

To be quite honest I've only used Labelview. I personally do not have one complaint. It does everything I need. I would say changing the printer ribbon, but now I think I could change it blind folded.

Overall positive experience. We have been using LabelView for many years and have upgraded multiple times. It fits well within our processes and has reduced labelling errors to nearly zero.

Setting up Forms so that shop floor employees can enter data and generate labels for products without having access to the label layout. They key in a job number and all information can be pulled from the database.

Printing multiple records from a database can be cumbersome and doesn't exactly happen automatically. Would also like to be able to piggyback multiple label templates at print time based on data from the database.

It's been tolerable but getting it to do what we wanted took a lot more work and a lot more tech support than it should have. There are better systems out there for data driven labeling systems

For our system, I don't really have a PRO that I can give on this product. Planning to switch once we're done with this round of licensing

If working from a separate database, this software CAN do the job but it's not good at it. We're going to find something that does the job better. If you're doing basic labels, there are many cheaper alternatives out there

Labelview allows using template files that link to excel database files. You can use formulas in label fields and do things such as insert the current date automatically. We could not do what we do with such speed without labelview.

There is nothing we do not like about labelview, it is always very versitile and meets and exceeds all of our needs.

We have not enjoyed our experience. It's been slow and is painful to manage.

It creates barcodes for our product and is simple to design with. It also has the ability to connect to our data.

The license manager has to run on a stand-alone PC and we can't move this to a server. The connections to our data are super slow.

So far we have had a great experience with LABELVIEW. It is a key software in the packing and shipping of the millions of products we distribute.

We love the support when we run into network licensing issues with the software. They are able to resolve it immediately. It very easy to use for the packing staff and they are continuously updating the software to make it better for us.

Trying to configure the network license if we move it to a different machine.

can't batch approve labels however as a QA Mgr., I understand why this is not available.

It does what we need; flexible printing solutions with relative ease of use.

Very easy to set up and configure to exact printing specifications. Reasonably easy to set up complex barcodes (GS1 datamatrix with counters). Incredibly responsive and knowledgeable product support.

Price point is high compared to market competitors. No option for swapping from printing in horizontal rows vs vertical columns on a given sheet of label paper.

Overall it is a very good program, and I would recommend to other organizations

Once I get it set up it is easy for all of our employees to use, setting up is not as easy.

Often when I have to upgrade, I need to call tech support to remember how to set it up the way we want.

Overall we have used Labelview for 15 years + and don't plan to switch softwares unless it gets to be too expensive each year. We dont have many needs within the year and rarely need any customer service support.

When there have been issues between our 2 locations that each use it, having a break in software use and not being able to finish making labels until it was squared away.

I have worked with Labelveiw since being hired here at Grays Ornamentals. That was over 8 years ago and can say that it has been a pleasure dealing with them.

The customer service is outstanding. Each time I have had to call Labelview for assistance, I received excellent service from the technicians.

I do not have a con to list. Labelview is a great company and the product is great also.

Easy to learn how to set up labels quick.

We have a glitch on the variable date (we can select variable but it switches back to fixed). The final result isn't affected but it sure caused confusion.

I like the customization, price and flexability

The way it interacts with databases is a little confusing, but works after you get the hang of it.

I have used Labelview for almost 30 years. The software is simple enough to use, but does everything I need, including product coding, barcodes and basic label design.
