This has been the real positive, the software just does what it needs to and maintains a clean record of our affairs. What has made Vestd such a good choice for us is the very detailed and thoughtful guidance before, during and long after signing up. They have made time and brain available to understand our business, its needs and objectives and given advice on that basis. Never with any pressure or spin. About a year ago I was interviewing someone for a job. She had previously worked in a small company which she'd been in from the get-go. It had sold. I mentioned something about how presumably she'd walked away with some reward from it all. Raw nerve touched. Long story short, the owner had set up EMI shares themselves but hadn't done it correctly. The buyer came in, saw that the shares were incorrectly administered and gave her nothing at all. Moral of the story: if you are going to do this stuff, do it right.

Like me, it's simple. It takes what is a potentially horrendously complex process and makes it simple and clear. The interface is very clear - that's both for me on the dashboard and for users who log in.

Not a lot to say on this front, nothing springs to mind. Of course, I'm not someone with deep knowledge of share issues so there are better people to ask out there, somewhere...

Couldn’t recommend the company enough.

Vestd is honestly one of the most useful products out there when starting a business. Not only do [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] and the team guide you through everything and are on hand to answer questions constantly, but the software itself is very easy to use and implements any changes automatically.

The only minor minor thing is that occasionally it wouldn’t tell you the reason for an error when setting up an EMI scheme template, and you’d have to work out what was wrong by trial and error. But I think that was more user error that be honest!

This is my first time using an EMI software service and thee customer service from the Vestd team is fantastic. They have taken the time to talk me through the platform, how everything works and even how EMI schemes work.

I like that it's user friendly and easy to navigate.

I'm still learning the platform, so nothing I can think of at this stage.

Great system and great support / customer service

The UI is intuitive and enables our employees to see their shares and the share schemes - this increases the value of them and brings them to life. Setting up the emi schemes is much easier and I have confidence they are done correctly and follow all the rules.

Reporting to HMRC and the steps required are not intuitive and because they aren't done frequently are hard to remember. Vestd helps navigate this, but it still sometimes takes some time to remember where to go and what to do. I don't think another system could do it any better though.

Vestd provides a comprehensive platform for equity management and their customer support is excellent - they're always on hand with prompt responses and solutions should any issue arise.

The UX could be designed to be a little clearer and more user friendly.

The ease of use once the products been setup has been brilliant and makes filings alot easier and cheaper than it's alternatives

Nothing, the interaction with inland revenue was a little tricky but that's not vestd fault, it's just typical inland revenue issues.

At the start of choosing the company for investment purposes, there was a video detailing their product and it also provided their assurance in respect of support available.

None. To be honest there are none. I have receiveived a helping hand all the way through to submission of final EMI notification

The platform is intuitive both from an owner/admin perspective but also for employees which is vital as this might be the first interaction that people have had with equity products – making sure the process is clear and understood ensures adoption and realisation of the benefit for each individual!

It's much more than just a platform to issue share option schemes: a huge amount of our company's secretarial & administrative work as well as share modelling can be achieved with Vestd too and all under the same subscription

I think the product has a hard job to make complex products, especially because of regulatory requirements, accessible. Where friction is felt is often due to government bureaucracy rather than a limitation of the software itself.

Customer support team is fantastic. [sensitive content hidden] in particular, have been incredibly helpful. Articles written add great context - makes some complex HMRC submissions feel easy.

I loved the ease of which I can issue and distribute shares which is blindingly fast. Furthermore, the support I get on Vestd is a world class and currently, I have had no issues unresolved and the resolution typically happens within hours.

It would be great if there was a feature to automatically email the shareholders with their share certificates.

The folks on the Vestd team have been extremely helpful in getting my team up and running with an EMI scheme. Some things cannot be updated myself without Vestd approval (though this could be a good thing - keeps me from accidentally messing things up). Also, our Articles of Association were previously filed with a different company, and because of this, Vestd is not allowed to look at my Articles to confirm that I'm not doing something wrong. (I understand it would be a significant undertaking when I didn't use Vestd for this, but just thinking of if I could ask for anything, regardless of whether it's reasonable.)

Vestd software makes the whole process of setting up and issuing share schemes really easy, particularly for a novice. The best thing is the live on demand platform where all shareholders can see their position in real time. We have found this much more motivating for our employees versus the traditional method which typically involves dusting off an old signature page lost in a forgotten drawer. Our previous experiences of legal/administrative activities can be clunky and subject to human error and delays. Our experience with Vestd was the complete opposite and we concluded everything within a month of when we 'pressed go'.

Customer service was great, but, complementing the service with a little more ad-hoc phone interaction could have sped up the response process at various points.

Easy to use platform and quick response from support team.

Standard only provide one valuation a year. Would be nice to be able to contact support team by telephone.

We had been looking to implement an employee options scheme with accountants and lawyers for some time. It seemed so much more complicated and expensive than it needed to be. We almost gave up but was then introduced to Vestd. We now have a fantastic scheme up and running and it couldn't have been easier.

The price is fixed. The customer support is fantastic and readily available. They have held our hand right through the whole process.

I really can't find fault in it especially knowing that they are building enhancements continually. Well done guys.

There should be a step by step guide on the whole Platform and steps. It shows you what to do when your focused on one area but at the start it is a bit overwhelming. However, this is not simple stuff so they have done an amazing job so far and would highly recommend to any founder. It's also cheaper than having to yoyo between a accountant and lawyer.
