Insightly Service - Technical Support
Overall, everything has been performing as expected
PROSOUr primary Support person has easy access to client requests and the ability to track resolutions.
CONSThe setup and integration took a little bit of customization but it wasn't horrible. Getting notifications took a bit more.

NOT good for field service organizations!
We needed to organize and make more efficient our boiler service technicians. Insightly gave a few benefits but when it came to day to day organization and reprioritizing, etc... it was difficult or impossible to get it to function in an easy to use, effective way. NOT READY FOR PRIME TIME!
PROSWe use Insightly CRM so naturally we wanted to use Insightly Service to create a better orgainzed field service group to manage maintenance and repairs needed at customer sites. But it could not do what we needed. What do I mean by field service? We are a boiler installation and maintenance company.
CONSPoor design: Each ticket has the ability to assign Tasks BUT the Service Administrator has no ability to see what Tasks have already been assigned for that Ticket. Looking at work already assigned was hard because there is no calendar in the Service App or Portal. Why? There is one in CRM. There is no way to initiate Service Invoices! It collects hours spent but it is as though they think all service work is FREE to customers. No, it is not!!Was there any help differentiating between customers with service contracts and without? NO. Could we create an instant invoice (from technician notes) by putting in an item from a dropdown list with pricing where we could select a task or a part and put it into an invoice. NOEvery time we said--make Service better by adding X, Support said, "Oh, you need to buy App Connect". But this is a feature that every other Field Service program has. They did not respond. App Connect costs way too much money anyway. Why are we trying to help them make this a Field Service application when they really are not able to listen to fundamental modification suggestions.
Reason for choosing Insightly Service
Linkage to Insightly CRM and cost. It was a mistake. The others have so many useful features that Insightly Service does not have.
