Consolidate in a single Platform many of the process covered by the Enterprise Service Model promoted by ServiceNow and giving the end user be part of the solutions with the Out of the box Self -Service Portal
PROSBased on the Enterprise Service Model provided by ServiceNow, the HR Service Management application focus on the main activities and task of the HR Service providers, giving the employees the oportunity to request thier typical need through a self service portal. The application covers many of the process completed by the HR Departments, with his out of the box functionalities and is really easy to complete the Implementation process previos to the Go live.
CONSNothing to mention on this aspects. As part of the ServiceNow Instances, the organization can integrate in a single system of records many differents process, oriented to a variety of need On the ITSM model.

Streamlined hiring and termination process
We set up an email from service now to a group when an employee was terminated. Team used the termination email to release the outgoing user's salesforce license.
PROSTracks an employees progress in the company, easily integrates with Active directory.
CONSPricing should be more elastic. It is highly priced with respect to other service providers.

It helps to track the process of the tickets. But, the auto responses can be a lot for one tickets.
It does help with managing some HR tasks, such as new hiring, role changing, termination, etc. Assist with tracking the projects.
CONSSometimes, you will get a lot auto response for one ticket. Also, the layout of the auto email is very confusing.

Experience with product
Even though learning the product was tough, the result was amazing and it eased us reaching to candidates.
