Alexandria: User Friendly and Great Customer Service.

Program went offline often. Couldn’t circulate books or use online card catalog.

Somewhat disappointing when you compare it to the big companies.

Alexandria partners with other library solutions, helping us to implement the time saving copy cataloguing as well as providing a platform for subscription of E-Books.

The support line is awesome to deal with when I have questions about how to perform a function or how to set up security (which can be a little challenging for our large district).

Our teachers were quite reluctant to have to learn new software and all, but now that it's done they think it's pretty slick.

I have used Alexandria in several forms for over 20 years. I am very pleased with the program and all the updates I have gone through.

The program is reliable and consistent. I love the organization of it and appreciate the willingness of the company to constantly be making improvements and updates.

Customer support was fantastic. We did have to pay for that service though.

We so much rely on internet connectivity to access the library solution. It is frustrating to both staff and patrons when internet is down, as access is not possible.

The beautiful thing is that the software is hosted by the manufacturer, removing the need for installation, upgrades and security. We we made subscription, Alexandria takes care of the rest.

Cataloging is so superb and one can be in control of the software by navigating across panes easily.

I like that the features are user friendly and that there are constant updates from the company to ensure ease of use.

I am not a native computer person so the language is hard for me to understand.

Very easy to learn the features and options and integrate them into our needs. The processes are very intuitive and the on-line documentation usually provides several options for completing a task.

Affordable library software, good choice for small libraries.

Specialized reports and labels are easy to create and modify. A well thought out product that would certainly serve many clubs, schools and other organizations quite well.

Our staff really like the ability to look up the availability of supplies through the online searchable database.

Overall the product is easy to learn even for non techies. We have volunteer assistants who picked up the operation very quickly.

Our needs were modest and we got a lot more product for the money with PrimaSoft. Release upgrades have integrated very smoothly and added some new complimentary features.

Easy to learn the software and support from the vendor has always been helpful and prompt. We had only a limited budget and needed to replace our previous legacy library system.

It helped me to make barcodes and spine labels. I was recommend this to any small library for ease of use and install.

Unfortunately our Admin Team has very limited IT experience, and nothing in depth regarding setup etc.

Therefore, some things that more experienced users would understand were more difficult for us to understand the concept, and thus implement without lots of questions.
