I'm solving my personal problem of determining where to live relative to my workplace and other places I care about. I want to limit my driving time for places I frequent, and OALLEY elegantly solves this problem for me by plotting the area that keeps my driving time within acceptable limits.

I came across OALLEY because I was searching for software that could do what no other mapping application could -- show me what areas are within a certain driving time, relative to a chosen address. I love how simple OALLEY makes this. It makes it seem so easy that it's astounding Google hasn't already done this. Yet OALLEY is as far as I can tell the only application that lets you see this information.

I'm not a commercial user, so I deal with the small annoyances that come from using a free trial version of software. However, those aside, I can't see anything negative about this application. It does exactly what it's supposed to, and probably a lot more for commercial applications.

So far, Oalley has added great value to our operations and completely solved our need to quickly and reliably create customized maps. Those customized maps can be further edited and modified, and that really helps to visualize the data better and also to convey more information more effectively.

What I like most about Oalley is that it covers one specific need really well: the need to quickly and reliably generate customized maps. Nothing more (so it doesn't overwhelm), but also nothing less (so it doesn't disappoint). As a data analyst, I work mainly with spreadsheets, but occasionally I do need a map to help visualize the data more effectively. ArcGIS is too sophisticated and Google Maps too basic, and that's where Oalley really provides the best solution. For example, within minutes I can create a commute radius for a given restaurant in Miami, then simply screenshot it and add it to my spreadsheet.

Sometimes the address of a location on Oalley shows up slightly differently than on Google Maps, maybe that's due to abbreviations - but definitely something to look out for. Also, I realize that the "truck" function is currently only available in France, but if Oalley can make the "truck" function also available in the US, that'd be greatly appreciated :)

You can not currently map in miles. I would like to see easy to pull demographics included in the free version.

Smappen is great. It allows us to create very focused data for our outreach efforts and company expansion. In just over a year, Smappen has changed so much and added so many features. The added features have made Smappen so much more valuable, and easy to justify for my company.

It used to be a bit limited, but so many great features, like searching for different locations, and population data have made the app so much more useful and applicable for a wider range of projects. I just wish with the points of interest feature that the data was a bit more fine-tuned. Sometimes some irrelevant businesses and organizations end up in the data set. I'm sure this will improve as time goes on tough, since it's a relatively new feature.

I love using Smappen at work to better localize our clients and providers. The "Area Type" and "Travel mode" functions are extremely efficient and representative of 'true' distances.

Sometimes, Smappen can't find an exact address typed in the "Starting Address" field and will only select either the street or the city in the address, so hopefully, this bug will be fixed soon.

I utilize drive time mapping for retail property valuation to understand the scope of each location. The ease of use allows me to capture data for each property.

The program saves any data entry, so I do need to go back and remove the prior mapping aspects before charting the next property.

I have been searching for this software for years! I organise events. Festivals, light trails etc. Finding new locations used to involve an awful lot of calculating and research. With Oalley I can plot my competitors on the map and quickly find gaps in the market. The results it has found us in just a few days will save us from costly missteps. The only alternatives I could find required employing an agency (far more costly and slow an likely worse results) or training to use some very confusing and expensive software. Oalley is nothing short of incredible. It is exactly what I needed and produces fantastic results. And the UI.. it is so simple!

Quick and simple with a user interface which has clearly been thought through - clear of clutter, intuitive and (for what it's worth) pleasing on the eye.

It would be good to upload multiple location points as a batch for calculation.

10/10 - Transformed my management style and turned me into a hero at the company ( in the eyes of my reps)

I manage 25 territories across the United States for medical device sales distribution. Mapping territories for my reps has never been easier. It has helped visualize the actual territory size according to their zip code, something that has not been done before to my knowledge. A true innovation.

Nothing - It works well. I would only recommend that it integrate a maps function similar to Mapquest

They have been extremely helpful and have gone out of their way to help us add new features.

I love being able to map my customer base to determine market size as I look at future locations. Also it is extremely helpful to look at and evaluate new territories that we do not have an in depth knowledge of.

Sometimes addresses do not show and I must use GPS.

We were able to quickly build radiuis' from a clients location within a minute or two which would normally take hours of manually pinning on Google Mapps

You provide a software application that is direct, easy to use, easy to deploy and user friendly. The output isn't hidden behind irritable paywalls. This is a major value add to our operations and a product I go out of my way to share with industry colleagues. You created something of value and appropriately share your product with consumers for a fair and efficient cost.

For my purpose, your product has left little to ask for.

I use it to show my students travel times in regards to universities that we are researching.

It would be neat to see the time span increased beyond 12 hr 55 min.

I used Smappen primarily to mark out areas of travel near to a new business start up which I work for. Simply being able to map our area by hours of travel was great! We found several areas on the map were closer than we had thought and were able to focus in on a specific distance range.

I was unsure about the practical application use of many of the extra features, even though there are pop-ups and emails which try to sell you on those features. To be honest, I would rather the Geofencing tool be free with some ads on the side than have more complex features try to be shoved to me.

It did exactly what I wanted it to do, with a very high degree of accuracy.

I wanted to drill down further into the data it provided. Data associated with zip codes exported from the area shape files. [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] listened and is incorporating that into the features!

I am not using smappen as a business. I use it to plan my travels in my retirement. I only like to drive about 6 hours a day on my trips and smappen gives me a map of where I need to look for a stopping point within a 6 hour range from my starting point. Other mapping software's do not do this well but with smappen it is very easy.

It is easy to use for what I need it for.

Very good experience, easy to use, made life much more efficient on our end when altering our service territories.

It allowed us to view the maximum distance a unit could travel within a set time span.

The UI could be a bit more fluent, not being able to change certain values after they have been set also, such as the address.

Was stuffing around on Google maps trying to work out how far my team could go in a certain time frame, stumbled on Oalley which completely changed the game, easy to use, and well presented for adding to reports etc. Gave me a lot better understanding of what areas we could operate in from each warehouse.
