After receiving free credits during a hackathon I organised a few months back, I started using echo3d. I was just learning about AR/VR at the time, and echo3D made the process quite simple for me. I wholeheartedly endorse it to any newbie out there because of how basic and simple it is to use.

The echo3D platform lacks comprehensive documentation and tutorials, which might make it challenging for newcomers to get started.

It is an exceptional tool for game developers, renowned for its user-friendly interface and unparalleled ease of use. It surpasses all other applications in its category.

The Location API feature and its complimentary trial are available for a limited duration.

Terrible for users. These problems make this product unusable for simple AR functions. The high prices per access should have resulted in faster and more problem-free user experience.We are forced to move to other AR strategies because of lag and problems loading simple objects in AR.

Users experienced HUGE amounts of lag in loading even small file sized models.Even when the object would load in-frame on devices, the AR function would not work, reported errors, or gave a never-ending blue loading circle in the AR field of view.

Echo3D provides a platform to build and manage 3D assets as a user I don't need to build everything thing from scratch which is one of the best features apart from that in terms of cloud storage it offers high availability and low latency while trying to retrieve information it ensures that it will load fast

There are some cons which I don't like is one of the main reason is cost as we store 3d asset in storage it will charge us expensive as it charges cdn depending on the usage and second reason is security which is one of the key factor as I m Sharing my asset in cloud platform which involves High vulnerability

Absolutely fantastic does exactly what I need it to do.

The simplicity of producing an augment reality image from scanned images of full scale brickwork training models has allowed students to visualise via the QR code generator an AR image of the training model to be completed within their own allocated work area. This has increased the successful completion rates.

None, echo3D does exactly what I need it to do, the AR content produced is easily accessible and deploys without any lose of quality.

I just wish that there would be more documentation available for the SDKs

I got to know about echo3D while I was participating in hackathons. I loved creating 3D and VR projects using it and how easy it was to import assets and make it 3D in minutes.

Need more tutorials and videos on how to use their APIs and how to handle big amount of data of the objects which gets imported as it got stuck multiple times.

My problem was that I wanted to create 3d models and wanted to showcase them on the website and mobile application. echo3D helps here by making 3d model and providing easy-to-use code snippets to embed the model in my app and website. I used echo3D to showcase a 3d model on my website to make it look like a modern company.

The best thing I like about echo3D is that they provide services which allows from creating 3D assets to managing and Delivering them to your apps. I used it to showcase the 3d object on my website so that it looks modern.

The thing I dislike about echo3D is their User Interface. It is quite confused and may require you to explore it first to get the idea of how you are supposed to accomplish the task.

We wanted an intuitive platform that gives us flexibility and the ability to build and release as fast a possible. echo3D has met these requirements and has enabled the entire team to streamline their workstream.

Having a a central location to store, organize, manage, administer and design my 3d assets is key to my productivity

somewhat inclined learning curve but once you get the gist the learning curve compresses fairly quickly.

I had high hopes for Echo3D's virtual reality feature, but unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The virtual reality functionality in Echo3D felt clunky and lacking in polish. The controls were unintuitive and difficult to use, making it challenging to navigate and interact with the virtual environment effectively.

I least enjoyed the ability to use the free trial of the application. But required a paid account to achieve some of the goals i was aiming to complete, which was a disappointment when seeing if the ideas worked, which put me off paying as I was not sure how things would turn out...

I really liked how easy it was to build and deploy real-time 3D applications on the platform. The drag-and-drop tools for creating 3D models were straightforward to use, and the API was well-documented. I also appreciated how flexible the platform was for creating different types of applications, from virtual reality experiences to interactive product demos.

Honestly, I didn't encounter any major downsides when using echo3D. However, one minor issue I had was with the user interface, which could be a bit clunky at times. But overall, this wasn't a significant problem and didn't impact my ability to build and deploy applications on the platform.

The most helpful features of Echo3D for my use case are that it offers a variety of tools and services for creating and managing 3D content, and augmented reality. Although I love the product as a whole, I sometimes have had a hard time with the documentation. And I think some users may find that the platform's documentation and support resources are not as robust as they would like. This could make it difficult to troubleshoot issues or get help with more complex problems.

I came to know about echo3D from MLH and it was so easy to use echo3D that even I was a beginner to coding and I implemented it with no hassle. It has support for almost every programming language and framework.

Easy to implement and very effective tool for designing

Secure and Streamability were of prime importance to us. The CMS was helpful as it made things more organized and improved the productivity of the team. The Node SDK was great and direct to use. No much need of reading documentation. We were able to delivery a great performance with our new e-commerce platform in 3D.

More Features like the ability to change material and lighting would be great with the package.

Drag & Drop is a great feature for students because it has a relatively low skill barrier. Content creation is also another feature I liked because it means I can direct students to specific 3D models that they can import. Integrating these features was really simple because every process was well documented.

Echo3D already allows teams to work on projects collaboratively, but there is room for improvement. For example, adding a chat feature or a commenting system within the platform could make communication between team members more efficient.

Quite intuitive user interface and I was able to navigate through the platform with a breeze. Useful for data storage

Product integration might be a bit difficult - I'm not quite sure how to add it into our system just yet
