Probably its lack of diffusion and the shortage of GeneXus programmers is what is complex for us to handle.

In turn, you can quickly have a model to validate the development. Good aditional tools(user controls) available to extend Genexus.

I developed in just 1 year a great application that, for that same time, 3 more people would be needed.

We landed on GeneXus looking for a CASE for the development of mobile applications and it allowed us, in a short time, to create some applications for Android and IOS with good results.

Besides the cost you have, it is well worth it because it is a huge investment. It is highly recommended for medium and large companies.

However, this is a double-edged-sword. You can fall into the trap or letting GeneXus worry about everything to the point that you can become out of touch with technology trends.

In addition, the way of versioning the product often means that a problem with one version can only be solved with a new version with the consequent need to test the development.

Code generated is difficult to read and some restrictions in the use of each language.

I was very happy with the personal attention I received from Genexus Consulting and could not recommend them more.

It makes the most for you and if it's necessary you can extend it with your own code. You can develop with the same environment software for web and smart devices.

Documentation does not help to solve problems and is sometimes insufficient.

It is an excellent choice for developing software quickly.

If you aren't using a pre-built recipe the learning curve can be a bit steep. If you have a failure find the error can be a bit complicated.

I only felt support in my decsion making process and never any pressure to purchase. This sales strategy worked great for me.

The workato support team and chat are very responsive and great to work with.

Most of the integrations have examples to reference when building. Additionally, Workato has pretty robust documentation.

We now plan to expand our use of Workato to help automate other crusty business procedures.

The academy of workato is great because have 3 certifications and its a great way to start on the tool.

I think Workato has great potential. It seems like their needs to be better guides and walkthroughs for each App integration.

Easy to use, very intuitive user interface, and so far 100% reliable with great exception reporting.

The biggest challenge I have had working with Workato has been trying to figure out why an error has occurred.

I like this tool's flexibility in creating recopies.

The product works very well and superior customer service is the icing on the cake.

Also, it allows users to customize their workflows to meet their specific business needs and requirements. It can be designed to sync in real-time ensuring that data is always up-to-date and accurate.

Workato also supports most of the popular apps like sheets, slack, smartsheet, jira, etc. It is great for us that have a developer background as we can make changes to the code to update recipes.

Workato has been very useful for us in integrating tools with Salesforce, with freedom for us to customize as much as we want. There's not much you can't do with this product.

They also have a large community of users that have shared their custom recipes.

It's ready to use connections are it's real strength for teams who don't have developer capacity and/or the budget to make unique integrations themselves.

Some of the integrations are seemingly still be tested by Workato. This can result in an inability to build certain integrations.

The community has a wealth of pre-made recipes available that you can customize to suit your needs. Everything from the use of data pills, to the documentation is very intuitive and user friendly.

Price is awesome for us non-profit. I shared with them some improvements, and there was some adjustments at the beginning but overall it is totally worth it.

Able to do more than alternatives,  it you’ll pay for it.
