APS - Detailed Scheduling schedules customer inquiries as well as real orders based on the real resource structure with the given workload. This makes it possible to easily and efficiently determine when the customer can be supplied, which orders already scheduled would have to be postponed or which bottleneck resources would have to be expanded - for example, by additional shifts - in order to deliver the products on the customer's desired date. On this basis, a sound decision can be prepared and made. By incorporating manual or machine feedback from production, the planner can also always gain an overview of the current state of the factory and can identify where action is needed.
