All hands endorsement - Enjoy using Shopkeeper

We've been with Shopkeeper a very long time. As we've grown Shopkeeper has grown. They have listened to our needs - then showed us how to use their product to achieve it. If we found that the software didn't actually meet that need, they made modifications and updated the software to it did exactly what we needed. And, as mentioned earlier - The shopkeeper customer support team is simply great. They are easy to reach, quick to respond and resolve whatever issuse we are having... Oh, and they are happy and friendly when helping us.

PROS

Really can't pick a particular feature we like most because we like it all. However, the shopkeeper customer support team is outstanding - Of all our vendors - they are at the top of the list.

CONS

I have no input. We started with shopkeeper many years ago... I remember the initial difficulties all boiled down to learning pains.

Visibility and ease of use with Quickbooks

Managing customer contract orders and a mix of one off jobs is much easier now that we have ShopKeeper in place. There is never a need to enter any information twice. ShopKeeper even creates labels for all of our parts, inventory and outgoing boxes.

PROS

I like the visibility of data that is available throughout the system, and the fact that you can easily search, filter and sort all forms. The search funtions for part history and purchase history are amazing. I can schedule operations to individual machines with ease. I also find useful that you can open and view many forms at once. All information entered in ShopKeeper flows through to all forms and reports, and then creates Bills and Invoices in Quickbooks.

CONS

The team at ShopKeeper is quick to respond and understands our Job Shop environment needs. I really have no complaints.

From a purchasing perspective

My use has been limited. Our company has not fully implemented the software. Not the fault of SK.

PROS

Fairly forgiving when PO's are coded to wrong job.

CONS

Keystroke error handling could be improved. Also screen refresh after different options are chosen.

Highly recommend ShopKeeper for any small to medium manufacture

PROS

We feel ShopKeeper is one of the best ERP and MRP systems available, the information available in a few mouse clicks is unbelievable. We are able to quickly manage, retrieve and update information. Information and job status seamlessly updates in real time from our shop floor to our project managers. We LOVE ShopKeeper. We love being able to work with another small business, on customization and provide feedback for features that work fabulously and provide ideas on how items can be improved.

CONS

Occasionally, updates have small bugs, yet the ShopKeeper staff is always quick to resolve.

Very User Friendly Product

Love it! I have used one other large competitor software company with my previous employer. ShopKeeper by far is way more user friendly, and has better features that other software companies just do not allow.

PROS

Simple features make it so easy to use. Integration from our old manual system to Shopkeeper was easy. As anything a bit of time is needed. Once its done its always there!! super nice!

CONS

I have not found any cons about this software. Super user friendly and easy to use once you learn the basic navigation.

Shopkeeper fits all the needs of our business and can handle changes needed to meet our ever changing industry requirements.
