I am so glad we brought our practice into the 21st century with ZHealth EHR and billing software
If we have an issue I or my staff can create a ticket for service and it is usually addressed same day.
PROSOur main initial driver was getting a software that allowed online scheduling. We chose zHealth for that and I like that I can complete my notes from anywhere and that I can see my schedule from my phone. Our biller can work remotely, so that helped me keep my biller who has worked for us for almost 20 years.
CONSSwitching softwares is never easy, but it was worth it to get rid of our previous server-based software. I realized there was no way forward for our previous software. I wanted a company who would keep up with technology modernization and zHealth has been consistently adding new options over the past 2 years.

Insurance billing was not doable for us with the Jane software.

Clinic Pro is a server-based software and we were having frequent issues with accessibility and function. We wanted online scheduling and it was not possible with this older software.

Great tool to use in our office
When we came on board with Zhealth a little over a year ago we had zoom meetings with our customer success specialist. I was given his cell phone number so I always have had a direct contact with ZHealth instead of being sent into some call center queue. When the representative we had took another job he gave his the name and phone number of our new rep. I would say there are 2 parts of the software I really like 1 is the reports feature, my chiropractic assistant does the billing for our office and she also tracks how many patient visits we have had each month. We have been doing this for 4 years and this software makes it very easy for her to access those numbers. The second feature that I really like is that my patients can be on their lunch break and schedule a same day appointment for later that day.
CONSWhen I use the last visit report and put a date range in it will give me every visit that patient had during that range. I would like this to be a true last visit so I can tell when someone has not been to my office for an extended period of time, so that I can reach out to them.

I liked the extra features that ZHealth provided like the body chart, kiosk check in, and the ease of use for my staff when it comes to invoices and SOAP notes.

Causing more problems requires me to keep paper notes, paper ledger, and separate scheduling and payment methods. The breaking point was tonight when the site was down because they didn’t renew the SSL certification. How? They get 30/60/90 day reminders. And when i asked they just respond rudely.
PROSThe initial setup and records setup was promising.
CONSThe system is slow and often down. If have issues have to email support. They run long queries during business hours making it virtually impossible to use. I now have to use a separate schedule because its down or not working more often than not. The bank for processing payments is piss poor so we can’t even use it. There is no patient ledger- only way is to go to each DOS to see where to add payment etc. The system is slow and customer service is awful.

friends recommended it yet they all left after first year- this is our 3rd year and im so sorry i signed up. They said id be able to read data and site if we canceled account but now say i have 60 days from termination to get notes- have to do each patient separately and manually- and cant access all the demographics or insurance filing information is lost.

Great Price / Great Value Chiropractic Software
We were looking for an affordable and easy to use chiropractic software for our new office. The zHealth team has been amazing from day one!
PROSI like that it was made to fit our practice. Initial consultations included giving information about which type of setup would work best for our office AND the customer service is quick and extremely friendly.
CONSThe most difficulty has come with adding the payment processing, but I don't know if that's the software or the bank that provides the processing.

Amazing Up to Date Software
Customer service is always on top with very little delay in response time. Change and updates easily obtained.
PROSThis software is extremely user friendly and easy to teach staff. The customization and constant updates are above and beyond any other software I looked into.
CONSI have been using the system for a couple of years and can think of no cons. Any hiccups in the transition were corrected and addressed within a respectable time frame.

Streamlined and easy to use software, great for solo practice and accessible anywhere
Since I'm a solo practitioner I needed an EHR software that would be able to handle much of the tasks that would normally require a front desk office staff member, such as patient scheduling and office check-in procedures. It's been very helpful that patients can schedule themselves online, through a link on my website, and can check themselves in as well once they arrive at my office. It's also been great to be able to log into the software from anywhere, using a tablet or even my phone, to check my patient schedule etc. whenever I need to be out of the office during office hours. I would say overall one of the best things about the software for me has been the ability to use it from anywhere and from any device and that doing so is relatively smooth. Since the software is straightforward and streamlined and doesn't have too much bloated and unnecessary features, it runs quite fast and you wouldn't even know that it was on online web-based system due to how quickly the pages load, as long as you have a decent internet connection.
PROSThe software is quite intuitive and easy to use if you have a decent grasp of general computing and how to navigate menus. In fact there was no training included at all when I first began using the system, because it isn't really needed as long as you are a little computer-savvy. The software has built-in patient online self scheduling which automatically populates and syncs with the patient schedule on my end, as well as the option to have the patient self check-in on a tablet when they arrive at my office, both very useful features since I'm a solo practitioner. I also like the ability to check my patient schedule from anywhere using my phone, since the system is web-based and syncs across all the devices I use to access it, whether I'm at the office, at home, or out and about. There are a good amount of options, clickable boxes, and pulldown menus to help streamline the note-taking process. The SOAP note sections by default have clickable fields that cover most of the musculoskeletal type issues that a patient may be experiencing as well as text boxes to type your own detailed notes as needed. I have not yet made use of the dictation feature so I cannot speak to how accurate that is. You also have the option to copy forward sections of a previous note into a new note, as applicable and warranted, and create custom templates for routinely used sections. Also the customer support has been quite helpful and quick to act whenever I did have issues with the software.
CONSSome features are not easily customizable on the fly but may possibly be updated per your needs by contacting the support team and requesting changes be made. There were also initially some bugs and glitches in the software when I first began using it, but many of these have been addressed through updates and contacting the support staff, who have generally been quite responsive and helpful.
Reason for choosing zHealth
Based on my understanding at the time I was reviewing all these software products, ChiroTouch seemed like it was somewhat more convoluted than I needed, more expensive, and not cloud based so I would only be able to access the software from my office. Jane App would have been a good option for my needs but it didn't have a patient self check-in feature as far as I could tell.

zHealthEHR
Z Health was willing to listen and work with what was needed for my particular office. They can customize the program to each offices needs. There were some glitches when they first started, however Z Health was very professional to work with on the corrections.
PROSI can dictate on this software, and it is very easy and simple to use. You don't have to go through dozens of screens to get to the final results. I also enter all of the charges while I am doing the soap and print out the HCFA at the same time. Everything is billed out the same day.
CONSI would like to be able to list more chief complaints given by the patient. Six is not enough for an auto practice. I would like to see more detailed aging report.

Other programs were very difficult to use, I couldn't dictate directly into the patients notes, The billing and posting of payments was very difficult, and rebilling was also terrible. For the cost and ease of this program it out performs any other program I have used or looked at in the past.

zHealth for Multiple Services!
Service and communication is fast and usually only takes up to 2-3 days, if not same day!
PROSI love that a lot of my notes are automated with check marks and drop downs. The software easily puts together a narrative even if you have to type some of your elevation into your notes.
CONSWhat I like least about this software is that it doesn't have a time stamp and that they do not offer medical documentation/HIPPA compliance officers to make sure all note taking is being done properly.

We are able to use zhealth for all 5 services: chiro, acupuncture, PT, OT, and medical without any complications.

I’ve solved my patient reminder calls. Simplified and quickened my note taking The self checkin has decreased the immediate need for a Front Desk The online scheduling is a wonderful addition that makes life grand.

The most robust Patient management and marketing software for the most affordable price
I see more patients with 2 less employees. I pay less for Zhealth software, and my payroll is WAY down!
PROSThe Note speaking feature. The "My Favorite" Diagnosis and the super-fast and effective email support that comes with Zoom meetings to fix things.
CONSSometimes information disappears but if I log out and back in it reloads.

Could be good
If I was ONLY cash based this wouldn't be too bad, but I still don't think it's ALL IN ONE, you will have to keep track of things outside of the software, so it's NOT all in one.
PROSCustomer service was decent to get set up, then to help with claims that were getting rejected to iron out the details, check in and check out was great, which is the main reason I signed up with Zhealth.
CONSOnce I got into it I realized there is no way to track if I have billed a patient their balance, if a claim was sent and when (printed claims- primary or secondary), it was always telling me to send claims when I KNOW I had already sent those, so they either had to get sent 3-4 times to clear the system, or I had to keep paper notes of ones I sent. By the time I quit using Zhealth I had 5 paper lists of things I had to keep track of. It was so much more work than I previously had which had initially prompted a change. I also hated the statement. It's no joke a page and a half to collect one $10 copay. Super embarrassing and patients don't understand it. Also they won't let you out of your contract after you realize it doesn't work. I paid $300 to start (never got custom notes done because I didn't get that far... which is what they say the $300 is for) and now I am still paying monthly fees and I'm not using it anymore. I even gave them notice to stop billing but they won't stop because of the contract. I wish I had taken the bad reviews more seriously. Use something else.

Amazing Software
Since day one Zhealth has been a great option for our practice necessities, and the customer services is A+ always helpful, very knowledgeable and they always answer my question and they are incredible professional.

Great Chiropractic Medicine EHR!

Great match for a busy Chiropractic clinic
Zhealth has saved me many, many hours of record keeping. I can use it from home if necessary, I can even check my schedule or modify it from my phone. So easy and accessible!
PROSThe "Copy Previous" feature is critical to keeping up during a busy treatment schedule.
CONSZhealth is the closest to what I would do if I were to design my own platform, but nothing is perfect.

Using ZHealth was one of the top two best decision I have made for my office. The other was location
I was very resistant to listening to a "sales pitch", but am very glad the representative was able to get through to me. He said the platform was made for doctors like me in mind. That is, without a doubt, true. I brag to my patients often of how happy I am with ZHealth.
PROSI don't have time to sit through training, this software was easy enough that I could start up and get most things done without watching the videos or reading the help section. I do recommend people take that time though. I can get what. I need from the very clear help instructions, usually, within 3 minutes. I have had to email the tech and they responded within 24 hours
CONSI think I need to find another template; I haven't taken the time to do that yet. The SOAP notes and exam notes don't have as many options as I need. So, I end up typing it in into the dialogue boxes.
Reasons for switching to zHealth
That was colorful, but cumbersome, and the representatives kept "gas lighting" me every time I told them I had a problem. It could take months (or never) for problems to be corrected. That was a huge time and money suck. Also, I had time back then to train, and still had several problems with the platform. On a few occasions, my patient data was erased.

Great choice for our small business!
This is a great company that provides a great product that is constantly evolving for the better. The developers take into consideration your recommendations and it is fairly easy to adopt.
CONSAs with any software company there’s a bit of a learning curve but it is normal with any change. In the beginning it took a long time to enter notes but once I got used to the interface it became quite a time saver.

Over Promised and Under Performed - And a 1 year contract
At first I thought the software would be good, until after you sign a one year agreement and then really get into it. Then you realize you're screwed.
CONSThe customer service and the 1-year contract. It should be month to month in case you change your mind. Also the $300 training fee. Many other softwares don't have this fee.

zHealth better than EPIC
It is better than the other systems I have used.
PROSThe features I like is the built in conversation.
CONSThe reports could use more attention. More reports need to be added along customized reporting.
