I started Bubble to build my company's app. Now that it's up and running I'm a full time bubble freelancer. I really love my job, I work on a lot of different apps and it's a real pleasure to open my bubble editor every day. My clients are super satisfied.

What was most important for me at the beginning is that you can really build anything you want. I tried no code platforms before but there was always something that I couldn't do and my clients were disappointed. Now with bubble anything they ask, I can build. With the new responsive engine it's super easy to build beautiful apps in no time that work on all devices.

I think the learning curve is pretty steep. When you start you immediately see the potential of Bubble but to achieve what you really want, you need to work a lot and learn a lot.

Bubble has changed the way I view building websites, it has created this space for me to develop and launch products without the need for developers, and it creates a sense of freedom I have never experienced as a founder since we began in 2012. Truly grateful for Bubble's existence.

It isn't a simple website builder, you can build Apps, Marketplaces, Platforms, etc. It's a game changer for how we will build incredible products online and digitally.Bubble removes the need for developers, creates a space to easily launch directly to users, and removes the gap between online creators and users like never before.

I truly wish the team would make it their number 1 priority to address the backend UI interface, especially when it comes to interacting with CRM data, it feels completely messy and confusing. As a designer, it some times shocks me how poorly it's designed, a simple look at Figma or even the not-so-great UI of Webflow makes Bubble look from the 80s in UI. It is time for a big improvement there, for the sake of it's current users and future ones.

I signed up for this with the intention to test and delete if not suitable. I deleted my payment details to close my account and was continually billed after this, despite not using the service and customer service say they can not refund me. This is a subscription trap. Unethical. I went on to cancel the card attached to the account and some how they have managed to still bill me. I'm not even sure how or if this is even legal. Waiting on my bank to fix this now.

However, if I hit refresh, then the database loads at its usual speed

Bubble is easy to learn and use, even if don't have any coding skills or knowledge. This customer support is super good and fast. Design and functionalities is notoriously customer/user-centered.

My experience with Bubble could not be better. On top of the software which is probably the best on the market, the customer service is just amazing. They answer quickly, they provide detailed answers and they are nice.

I'm not a developer and I developed a complex APP on my own. I said it all. Bubble simply changes entrepreneurs' lives.

For me Bubble does not have cons but I must answer to that question. If you have no clue about coding, maybe it takes some time to understand how to use the software. Once you know how to use it, the possibilities you've got to create an APP are ilimited

We're able to build new features, refine existing features, test new ideas, and iterate so insanely fast with Bubble. Every 2 weeks I'm absolutely blown away by the number of new features and feature improvements in our changelog. I can't even imagine trying to build with traditional code now!

Extremely demanding data work isn't great in Bubble (but easy to do in other tools and API what you need in/out).

It has been 4 years now that I am working on Bubble. It was a real opportunity to create proof of concept. But now that I am becoming an entrepreunor with more scalability problems. I have to admit that Bubble does not match these challenges coming so we plan to stop using it.

Very easy to create apps , do custom stuffs. Very easy to go into Development through it , a very good community on your forum and good reactivity from the CS team.

Performance like I said, very poor for ecommerce and even for an app to use every day as a team. And the second on is hat we can read the DB fastly when it comes to advanced filters. We have to think about workarounds, which oblige us to store the data twice which is a lot of work. and even with that this is not that easy to do.

In a few months we had a hospice care patient management system up and running. The system includes reminders, charting, finance, volunteer management and a section for lending equipment to patients. It is fast data handling is super easy. Bubble has a strong api capabilities so bubble has no limits

Bubble does require some coding not in the traditional sense like cortan or C++ But it has its own language which is sometimes difficult to figure out Bubble lacks report printing but it is handled by 3rd parties which increases cost.

well it was a tough journey but I managed to learn it and now I enjoy it very much

that I can code complex stuff (relatively) by putting logic block on paper and than on bubble and it works

fact it is bounded in its flexibility but It would not be so easy to use

Overall, I am having so much fun using bubble.io. My product is coming along quickly. As a retiree, I needed a tool to build my idea of an App. Bubble.io offered me the exact environment I was looking for. There is a learning curve.

I enjoy working in bubble.io simply because it is very easy to try out ideas and concepts.

It's probably because I need to learn more, but I find adapting to all sizes of devices is a bit a trial and error situation. For example, the responsive engine rendered nicely on my android phone, but did not display as nicely on an older iPhone. Again, I probably need more time to nail this one down.

Overall, I’m really impressed with what I’ve been able to build without needing to employ a team and for minimal cost. Happy customer.

I was initially really interested in the template options that Bubble has available. For me, it was always a lot better to build on an existing model than create something from scratch, even if the template didn’t really resemble my desired outcome in any way. Seeing a framework and how it was put together really helped me conceptualise a way to construct something approximating the kind of system I needed to build. I also really liked the native functionality and API options to extend the capabilities of systems I could build.

The system is at times very clunky and there are definitely things that could be improved, like the speed of the system (even with only a couple of users) and hidden elements appearing for a split second on page load before being hidden again but it’s all things you learn to work around. Also, although it’s supposedly “no-code” and “no prior experience necessary” and all that jazz, it definitely a software you have to study extensively to understand… I’ve been building on this for over a year and I’m still in the dark about 40% of it‘s functionality, it’s a little misleading to say it’s for novices. Also they could make a few common integrations a bit more accessible/complete. The collective time saved if they curated and refined their integrations a bit more would be much appreciated.

As a software developer turning founder and business manager, Bubble is an unexpected gem in a world of ways to build software for my needs. There has been almost nothing I could not do with Bubble, including some advanced processing algorithms that my competition has not attempted. I feel like I can make a full-scale web marketplace platform for a scale of 100,000s users all within Bubble. And, by using Bubble, I also save hundreds of thousands of dollars building solid infrastructure. And I believe the Bubble leadership is committed to growing the platform in the ways that matter; stability, security, developer features, to give tools to nocode developers to deliver fast, clean, and delightful, end-user experiences.

Bubble gives me ALL the most important pieces of the puzzle to create a viable software system. I like the way Bubble creates pages, preview, and deploy them to a live public-facing web product fast. I like the built-in User system. I like the row-level security system. I like the way it manages a dev environment and production environment seamlessly and intelligently. I like the navigation between pages. I love the way objects in the database are defined, created, and linked to the application. I like the way pages can be laid out responsively using techniques similar to the best prototyping systems like Figma. It's almost as fast to create live working production pages as it is to design them in a prototyping tool. I like the way data elements are referenced on the page. I like the way information can be presented, edited by a user, and then stored. It gives you the power of the display and the power of the saving process. I like the rich and useful plugins. I like how almost every external service you will need is already available, and how EASY it is to connect to external APIs. I LOVE how the entire system -- EVERYWHERE -- automatically shows changes to data everywhere all at once. The technical description of this feature is that every element that shows data has a subscription to that database element automatically. Most of all, I like how searching and displaying information and pictures are handled. using fast and easy-to-understand techniques.

The dynamic data source entry boxes, where you can use "no code" thinking, access both simple ("grab the data from a data field or another component on the page" ) and complex ("merge the results of a database search with a list just entered by the user and stored in the page"). But, the entry box is small and too tightly "prompted". Just making it larger would be an improvement. I don't like how all options sets and plugin data are loaded with every page even when that page doesn't make use of it - I believe it affects page-loading performance.

In the past year I have built a complete new startup from the ground up exclusively in Bubble and have also built another client solution to replace their FileMaker Pro system and now have two more clients looking to do the same. Bubble allows for very speedy prototyping and development, and clients love this. It is especially useful being able to show live changes whilst in calls with little or no delay. Although this can work against me as some clients then believe everything is as easy and quick to do!

The community is very active, friendly and helpful. Training material is in good supply with some excellent tutors.

Performance and limitations on features within different pricing tiers can out-price it for some projects. Plugins are unreliable and easily broken, unless "Built by Bubble", ruling out many very promising and useful third-party offerings.

The almost infinite set of options, I haven't encountered yet a use case I couldn't solve with Bubble.

The mobile part. While with the new responsive engine we can create easily mobile version, I would've loved to have more options to deploy the apps into the main stores. Also, the design part of the UI of the pages could include more options, like what Framer propose for example.

Amazing -- we've built web apps, browser extensions, mobile apps, etc.

Bubble is one of the most advanced low-code platforms on the market today -- far and away as compared to almost any other low-code development platform. One key reason is that it is about the only low-code platform that permits the easy drop-in of other APIs -- specifically, to directly permit end users to OAuth to their other apps instead of having to route through Zapier and other integration platforms.

The database designer format is unnecessarily complicated -- wish it was much closer to the DB design tool that is used by knack.com

Bubble is very powerful, flexible, customizable, scalable. It helped us create dozens of web and mobile apps, launch and iterate them fast, and collect feedback / achieve business goals!

Bubble can be slow at times. And has limited mobile app support (external solutions like Natively are required).

Never depend on it for a full-fledged application. It's only good for hobby projects or MVPs to show it to an investor. I lost 6 months of valuable time trying to learn the platform and build a real-world application. One fine day opened to an empty project with at least 40 pages missing. Bubble acknowledged that there was a glitch but unfortunately couldn't explain or provide me with any resolution. They did mention that FREE users have limited backups. So if you care about your application, better start with a paid plan and keep praying to God every day that your data should be safe.

Well, it's cheap and free, to begin with. That's about the only Pros I can think of. But like all free software, it comes with a lot of limitations.

Absolutely zero control over your code and data. You cannot export any part of your product. Everything is hosted on their platform. They provide only 12-hour backups for a FREE plan. So if any glitch happens from their side, you will completely lose everything and nothing can be recovered. A huge learning curve exists. So, if you are a non-coder wanting to build a working app, get ready to spend at least a few months to build a decent prototype. Designing responsive pages can be nothing short of a nightmare.

It's been so surreal to me due to the fact that I've always wanted to know how to code, but I find it too difficult, now I can pretty much do a that a programmer can do when it comes to building apps

I love the the wonders that the custom state can do, the more I learn about how to utilize this functionality, the more I want to jump on another project. Also, the availability of all kinds of plugins to ease integration and designs within Bubble. I love how intuitive every single thing is, it took me only two months to get a firm grasp of how Bubble works, you pretty much can build and design and deploy 90% of all the types of apps operating on the internet right now with Bubble, I mean social media platforms, property management, and you can also integrate with Open AI to build amazing things too.

I don't really have much dislike for anything, I'd just want Bubble to do something about speeding up loading time of editors with a lot of elements, I personally have found a way around that by using reusable elements, but other than that, I'm pretty satisfied with how Bubble works

The flexibility and extensibility I have to build the web app to feel a lot like a native app because I can easily turn it into a progressive web app (PWA) with a few lines of templated code and simple set-up.

This is nitpicking, but there are some native styling controls that are missing if you're familiar with web development, for eg. strikethrough for text, CSS grid (huge, there are pseudo-workarounds, but not quite).
