Simple to setup and use...

PROSFitBudd has been nothing but professional and helpful in setting up the app from the IT side. I even received assistance above and beyond informative webinars and articles. My issues with the app falls on my shoulders due to not investing the appropriate amount of time and attention needed to turn leads into paying customers. I am appreciative of the ease in which I can continue to pay for the services provided while I move closer and closer to taking my app to the next level.All in all, if you put in the effort, you will have great success operating your app through FitBudd.They are excellent in customer service.
CONSALLOW OTHER FITNESS TRACKERS TO CONNECT TO THE APP. ANDROID COMPATIBLE LINK IS MISSINGI would want a feature to send group emails to leads in one click. An automation email to leads that I can customize to offer deals and sales. This would make it easier than cutting and pasting each email address to an external email source.Secondly, create, modify, and assign schedules on the go.Lastly, more templates for nutrition and the ability to upload cooking videos and sell them through the package plans. Sometimes the nutrition and meal planning is more important to some clients and having the ability to purchase instructional videos from their trainer in reference to nutrition, would be a lucrative add on to packages.

Really good customer service. Super helpful. A little pushy at the beginning but very receptive to suggestions and asks.
PROSFitBudd listens to all advice/feature requests and is fairly timely on development and delivery of those suggestions
CONSThat Canva doesn’t interstate, need more customizing features for plans, need ability to group clients for group sessions, need option for in person bookings vs just virtual calls. Need more customization in plans / features as it’s currently a little complicated

It's pretty good for the most part. I wish they listened to us coaches more for updates
CONSI wish the coaches had more flexibility on our personal app. Such as changing colors and fixing wrong things such as macros and stuff. I also don't need the workouts. It also dosent feel like they really listen to us coaches for upgrades we would like. That part is the most frustrating

The Right Tool for My Business
So far my experience has been awesome. I signed up for the trial, talked to their customer support about my needs and what I was looking for, and they helped me get started.

CONSIt can be a bit pricey based on it standard prices, but if you can get it discounted it is a great deal

Offered more products at a good price. Specifically, the customized app and personal website were what ended up selling me. It also has a much more modern interface than other tools out there.

Overall, it's a very good system to use for online coaching. I have a been following my own program to work through the kinks and be able to coach effectively to my clients.
PROSThe ability to manage clients and communicate with them is great. The exercise library is extensive.
CONSI feel a few features are cumbersome and have a few bugs to work out. to put it all together it takes a bit of learning, would be helpful to have some walk through videos.

CONSI didn’t like the fact that there’s not a lot of variety when it comes to food. Especially if I were to meal plan, it’s not very effective to e but time consuming to put together a meal plan.

Graysfully Fit for My Life
I just started in August and I haven't even launched my site officially yet. I need to get a few more pieces of information and understand how to run the site more and what customers can expect and what I can expect before I start getting money from clients.
PROSFitBudd is very user friendly and what I was looking for. I used another platform previously but this one seemed more of a better fit for me professionally and personality-wise.
CONSI don't like that I have to connect with team members for questions so early in the day and that we are on different sides of the world. I wish there was some type of chat box for questions needing to be answered quickly instead of an online video call.

FitBudd is more user friendly to me and I am able to get more clients upfront without my price raising too much too soon.

So far.... Pretty good
So far it's been great working with the staff as the app is being built. The software itself was easy to connect to Stripe. I was able to start a few of my clients on a subscription style plan right away. I'm not launched yet but very excited as it's coming closer.
PROSNot complicated to navigate. The video call feature in the app looks better than zoom to me. Connects well to stripe. The customer service is the best part so far. Very easy to reach and they respond quickly.
CONSNeeds a separate coach app or dashboard you can use from your phone or tablet. I currently have to open the desktop version on my devices. Needs a better way to test the mic and video settings.

My step towards a flexible lifestyle.
It's been great. Everyone has been super helpful, and the process to get everything going was quick.
PROSI like how you can seamlessly upload videos of exercises and follow alongs, regardless of size of the videos. The data base of nutrient is very handy, and being able to log nutrition in water is relatively easy. Its simple and visually appealing.
CONSI had issues figuring out push notification. Also, wondering if google calendar syncs with the app calendar. That way it can automatically block times for calls.

Overall so far we are happy with what this is. I know there are updates coming. I would recommend making the app for the trainer to be more feature rich to include being able to implement things into clients plans

Fell in Love with FitBudd!
I feel like I’ve been able to take business to a new level without struggling so much on the admin side. I find it easier to focus on client relationships.
PROSI absolutely love how easy the software is to use form payment plan set up for your site, making workouts, applying meal and workout schedules to clients or automating things; everything is very easy to do. The client app is very simple to navigate as well, I feel like I have better control over my business.
CONSThere are a few functions that you may not get such as a community option like Facebook or being notified when clients miss or complete a workout. I wish clients could view a workout library themselves as well. I don’t think these things impact the overall quality of the app though as a lot of additions are coming, the developer team is extremely engaging!

Daily User - Mostly Very Impressed
Overall I love the platform and my clients are very happy with the functionality of it. Maybe some improved notifications on the user app would motivate clients to log in more frequently, such as exercise reminders, motivational quotes, or other prompts.
PROSI love the user interface for FitBudd and the ease of use when designing programs for my clients, and a companion website through which to sell my programs and training packages. It is streamlined, they’re continually improving and adding new things to the platform, and overall it was fairly easy to get my clients on board with paying through the app.
CONSJust a few small things missing, most of which I’ve found my own easy workarounds for such as needing a notes section in a clients profile, a better categorization system for the exercise library, and a more filled out nutrition section such as a recipe library. It is a lot of work to manually put in recipes for each meal a client is going to eat, and converting those recipes to imperial measurements. I would also love some way to integrate affiliate links to other products I use and get a kickback for when my clients purchase.

Fitness features are good, nutrition features still need some work.
It’s easy to build fitness programs on the app and customize. I love the chat box and the logging of nutrition.
CONSAs mentioned before. I cannot upload meal plans and the calculations the system makes for their calories and macros is off. I don’t know where those numbers are coming from. I calculate my own and make my own meal plans.

Fitbudd is an awesome client management tool
Fitbudd is helping to resolve the issues that come with scaling an online coaching business. I was using spreadsheets and documents before, which actually had advantages and some clients still prefer. However, as your business grows it can become difficult to keep track and remain efficient. Keeping all data, including nutrition in one place makes the opportunity to scale almost limitless.
PROSI love that fact that you can keep all client information in one place. The customer support is outstanding. I love the different metrics that the app provides so that you can track multiple aspects of client progress. I also love that the structure of the app allows the business owner the flexibility to be creative with how you present your app. You can add your own pictures, videos and really make it personal.
CONSThere are a few things I would like to see added, however as I have been using the app I have seen much improvement and new features keep on being added. This is great for both myself and my clients to see. I would like to see better calendar syncing, and a copy and paste feature for the nutrition tracker. To be honest though, I haven't come across anything I would say I dislike yet. There can be some glitches occasionally but that is the case is most apps and I observe that things keep on improving.

I appreciate the functionality of being able to customize workout schedules, nutrition plans, and supplement regimens for my clients. The onboarding tool streamlines the process, ensuring efficiency from the moment I receive a lead via email. Once onboarded, it becomes effortless to tailor their schedule accordingly. All that remains is a brief video orientation to acquaint them with the app and clarify expectations. Furthermore, the client management tab provides invaluable insight into client engagement. I can easily monitor who is actively utilizing the app and adhering to their schedules, as well as identify clients who may require additional support if they are less engaged. Crafting personalized workout routines is straightforward, and I appreciate the ease of uploading supplementary resources for their benefit. The simplicity of website creation and the flexibility to make updates as needed further enhance the overall user experience.
CONSHaving previously utilized Trainerize, I've noticed that the FitBudd trainer app is lacking crucial features. Specifically, I find it inconvenient that I cannot assign, edit, or modify programs for clients using the trainer app; these functions are only accessible via computer. The website does not have an option where I can paste CSS codes such as a customer service bubble that a lead who might need immediate help on the website can easily access.

Passion IO was too expensive and lacks key features such as workout plans, nutrition plans, and supplement plans. Passion IO only has training narratives and training videos. It was difficult to set up. Trainerize has the option where I can make my own app, but even though the features are perfect, it was too expensive.

Great investment
I love this app!! Overall I am very pleased with using Fitbudd for my clients. It's very easy to use and it is a very reasonable cost. I'm looking forward to growing my business using Fitbudd as I move into the online market because currently I'm only using it for some of our members in our studio location.
PROSI like that I keep and see my clients' progress all in one place and that I have the option to speak with them in the app about their progressions. The voice memo feature is great because texting is not enough when certain situations requires voice communication.
CONSWhile I like that I can group my clients based on start dates, tags, plans, etc. for communication. However, it does not allow me to group my clients in groups for viewing them in those categories. It only allows me to see all active clients and I have to manually click on each client to see which group they're in. It would be a great feature to have the option to view all my clients in different groups. I have voiced my concern about this feature and they are working on implement it. When a client is no longer active or deactivated on a plan, they will continue to receive communications if they are grouped together based on a start date. I really didn't like that because those clients were still able to receive coaching advice and motivation even after they were deactivated. So I used the tag feature instead but that didn't work too well since everyone gotten the same messages if their tags had similar names. I would also like to see MyZone app integrated with Fitbudd. My fitness studio uses MyZone HR monitors while training clients and it would be great if it could be integrated.
Reasons for switching to FitBudd
I found that app difficult to understand and use.
