Pros/Cons
  • Pros

  • I like the speed and stability of this program and the rendering of RAW images from my camera. The customer service is also amazing queries are attended to promptly.
  • HDR management works such that even after the photo has been captured HDR still works. Secondly for a new photo editor its a good place to learn the basics and specific photo customizations.
  • Cons

  • Some functions are limited to low-cost or even older cameras, which I believe would be the most negative point.
  • Maybe version 21 of C1 Pro have fixed this and problem might be at the Sony end of things. Another annoying thing is very limited amount supported lenses for lens profiles.

  • Sprout's customer service is also amazing. I had a few questions along the way and it was so great to just be able to talk to our rep and get help right away.
  • Payment integrations are great too and I love being able to give the client the choice to still pay in person by cheque or cash too (and the option to create my own methods!).
  • Cons

  • Glitching with booking proposals, the submit key. How hard it is to sell a digital file because clients can't find it.
  • Inability to hide coupon field. No easy way to sell without creating a portal (think mini sessions).
