An outstanding tool set to handle in-app subscriptions!

Before Apphud, I struggled with managing in-app subscriptions. This was a vast headache for me as for a developer. But since now, I can add in-app purchases into a mobile game in an extremely straightforward way. This is a cutting-edge solution for handling in-app purchases.

PROS

No server code is needed. It is as simple as signing up and writing a few lines of code. The analytics module also impressed me. I can access all data in real-time including revenue, ARPU, churn, etc. It also has many more great features, I will definitely check: Rules, AB tests, etc.

CONS

Currently, I don't have any complaints. Everything about the Apphud is superior.

Easy to use. Reliable. Friendly. Feature-rich.

I'm using apphud for managing subscriptions but I'm looking forward on integrating their paywalls, a/b tests and to work on my churn rates with push notifications and special offers.

PROS

It's reliable, no complaints from the users and apple review team. Data updates instantly, always up to date. The integration was a breeze, all the docs are present and kept fresh. The support team is the next level, really friendly and ready to help.

CONS

I think that there could be more options for data reporting and charts but thanks to the integrations it has, I can use other analytics tools to dive deep into my data.

Reason for choosing Apphud

It's a bang for the buck, really good free tier and reasonable prices.

Simple and useful product for subscription analytics

PROS

It has a great UI. Convenient to use. Also AppHud has cool ability for screen generation. So you update screen on the fly without app update. It's really cool!

CONS

For each app you need to integrate lot of statistic. AppHud good tool only for subscription management. Another service is used for analytics. It will be great if all functionality will be inside one SDK.

Great mobile subscription management tool

Great product! Very impressed by analytics, dashboards and overall simplicity. Really happy to use Apphud!

PROS

It took just 40 minutes to add in-app subscriptions into the app from scratch. The process was really smooth: thanks for the well-documented Apphud SDKs. I had a couple of questions regarding AppsFlyer integration and asked for help in a chat. The support team has responded and answered within a couple of minutes. Another great thing – is wonderful built-in analytics. It shows all metrics in real-time, so you don't need to wait for data from App Store Connect. And it's really powerful – you can see all necessary charts and metrics straight out of the box. And, finally: Apphud has fair pricing, comparing to similar tools. I started using it for free and was able to use all features I needed.

CONS

The Rules feature seems to be a bit insufficiently functional. It would be great if I can send scheduled Push notifications or implement more complex scenarios.

A great tool for indie developers that saves your time and money!

What business problems are you solving with Apphud? What benefits have you realized? I'd describe the overall experience as excellent. It solves my pain, saves time and my money, so I can focus on making my business. It's a real lifesaver.

PROS

What features are most impactful? Is the product easy to use? Was integration with your existing processes easy? I was looking for a simple solution to add in-app payments into my Flutter app. Apphud is literally what I needed. I can spend my time on building my business, improving the app and not thinking about handling in-app purchases logics. It really saves my time and money. As of me, the best thing about Apphud are their powerful SDKs with tons of handy methods of getting user subscription/auto-renewal state, getting iAP info etc. Especially, if your app is cross-platform, and you should keep in mind that you must provide the access to premium features on iOS even if a subscription was purchased on Android. Apphud solves this problem. And, finally, their support team respond blazing fast and APIs are really well documented.

CONS

Are there features you feel are missing or could be improved? Are there aspects of the product that are difficult to use? Was integration with your existing businesses processes difficult?Well, it's hard to find any disadvantages on using Apphud. I have no complaints right now.

Great for managing subscription apps

Great! Simple to learn/use and well documented (helps a lot when working with various developers)

PROS

I use Apphud daily to get an overview of subscription revenue from apps we manage. We also use it for various win-back implementations and iOS / Android subscription management. All in all, its a great tool that is extremely simple to use (which is something we value a lot!). Lots of smart features that help us grow our client's subscription apps and manage everything from a single point.

CONS

Nothing really, there is a lot of features to learn but everything is well documented.

Apphud saves lots on development costs

Apphud ready-to-use in-app purchases infrastructure has saved me a lot of effort. It literally takes care of everything you need when handling mobile subscriptions!

PROS

I like how easy it is to add in-app subscriptions to my product. I don't have to write any server code at all. It's as simple as integrating their SDK. I save tons of time, and you know what they say, time is money.

CONS

Some of the phrasing in the documentation guides is confusing. Thankfully, they offer full support to clear up any confusion.

Apphud - must have solution for developer

I switched to Apphud from another subscription-tracking solution for my side project. Previous tool had some problems on data consistency - it presented incorrect data on charts. Apphud doesn't have such a problem for now - all data seems to be precise :-)

PROS

1. Fair pricing. I use Apphud for free and have access to all features I need, including almost all integrations. 2. Seamless setup process - just sign up and write a few line of codes. Easy peasy. 3. Useful charts with segments and filters. Almost all you need to calculate app unit economy. 4. Pricing experiments feature looks promising but I haven't tested them yet. 5. Apphud support is fantastic.

CONS

User interface could be a bit better, but this is not so critical. In general, great product!

Awesome tool to handle iAPs

It really saves your time – you don't need to build your own solution solution to handle subscriptions, verify receipts, handle user subscription state etc. Otherwise, be ready to spend couple of months to build own infrastructure, fix enormous amount of bugs and handle edge cases

PROS

Really easy to implement and great SDKs. AppsFlyer integration works like a charm. And amazing Customer support!

CONS

The only thing is missing now is Stripe support. But guys from support said it would be released this Fall.

A huge fan of their service and have been with them for more than 1.5 years!

PROS

A really all-in-one platform that is easy to use. Has various real-time metrics and cohort analysis which we can play around with and manage our in-apps more effectively. The charts are fast and flexible and on top of that the product allows us to use 19 integrations, win back users with push notifications, make pricing paywalls A/B testing, which is very helpful.

CONS

Great platform, great value

I reduce time on data collection and data checking. Apphud gathers and visualizes data, that helps me interpret data better.

PROS

Apphud saves my time on a daily basis and allows me to track data effortlessly. It's very intuitive and easy to use. I can't say that they have an exhaustive list of integrations however it covers the main items I need at this product lifecycle stage.

CONS

If they add Stripe integration, it’d be helpful for us

One of the best app to integrate any SaaS app and measure its performance, subscriptions, etc.

Excellent overall experience

PROS

I like most that Apphud is a unique app that can help in measuring the overall performance of the app, identifying subscriptions, and what can be improved in the process. All these steps will help me increase the revenue of my app by focusing on the bottlenecks of my apps. I utilized their price testing tool that helped me create prices and paywalls for testing. I also created some automated rules on basic workflows like, "when the user cancels a payment", "user starts trial", etc. Additionally, it also helped me build personalized screens using their no-code visual editor.

CONS

No cons identified so far. Looking to use it productively in the next few months.

Complete solution handling all in-app purchases related stuff

PROS

Apphud takes away pain points handling and testing many and many edge cases within Apple and Google IAP systems. Blog posts, docs and support are all outstanding. Also there are many possible analytics integrations, but I haven't grasped that part yet.

CONS

Haven't found any obvious issues in my use cases.

Best in Slot for subscription management and analytics

PROS

1/ Easy to use, Quickstart 2/ Lovely support (All my questions were asked within less than 1 day, 1-2 hours approx., that's great) 3/ The data it shows corresponds to my App Store connect console)

CONS
