Pros

Very easily integrated into an already established support team and takes almost no time at all to set up.

Cons

Communication within LogMeIn Rescue could do with some improvement as it would make some processes much easier to handle.

Great product especially if admin rights an issue

Able to connect to temporary contractors with ease to assist (rescue) them with IT issues.

Pros

NO need to install anything! or run a MSI or .EXE file.

Cons

the cost is a little high but you do get what you pay for and if your business is primarily IT support without needing to automate scripts etc. I would reccomend

Remote Access with chat :)

Pros

I've used LogMeIn Rescue when I worked as Technical Support in a software. We're using this software to remotely access our customers computer to troubleshoot their computer and do installations. These customers are miles away. I love the idea that it is easy to use. You can also communicate with them via chat. So whenever you need them to do something on their end, it is to relay the instruction. Not necessarily to always stay on the phone.

Cons

I can't remember anything that I like least about LogMeIn Rescue. If there's one thing they can improve is that make it more user-friendly, though it is already easy to use, however whenever a non-computer savvy is using it, were having a hard time to let them allow the remote access. But this is something that is not a big deal since it is not LogMeIn's fault. However, if there's something they can do about this, that will be awesome.

Best remote control service software out there

We use Logmein rescue every day to support our remote users. It is an essential tool for our departments! I dont know what we would do without it. We have tried others but no one comes close to the simple and vast features that Logmein rescue offers. We have used it to copy files, rebuild machines, clean viruses and malware and even switch computers from one domain to the next.

Pros

Ease of use for both the Admin and the end user.

Cons

There isnt much I dont like about using it.

LogMeIn Rescue Solves for Day-to-Day IT Problem Resolution

Very pleased overall. I've used dozens of times to have IT issues resolved with no negative experiences.

Pros

LogMeIn Rescue makes getting help form our IS department simple. When the issue requires more than a simple call with a tech., they can now quickly and easily remotely log-in to a machine to control / analyze / solve an issue.

Cons

No complaints. Very straightforward and functions as it should.

Boon for tech support people!

Pros

I have been using this for past 6 years and though I have an option of using different screen sharing tool, but I always prefer to go with LogMeInRescue due to its world class features which no other tool provides. Even my client prefers using this tool as it is quite reputed and safe to use. It is a very reliable software.

Cons

It works beautifully on Windows devices but on Mac and Mobile devices it does lag sometimes which the LogMeIn team can rectify.

Pros

Can always be relied on to get remote support through to get a matter taken care of I tend to get help from a fellow team on and off and we use logmein.

Cons

logmein is very secure or at least for the most part anything is still possible but if your ok paying for it I trust logmein more than teamview as of this point personally.

It enables technicians or other users that are not physically there to manipulate your computer and fix the issues you are facing of course with your supervision.

Cons

It might open a possibility for hackers especially when you are not cautious of who you connect with and who you give access to.

Very Helpful Tool

We are a large construction company and have jobsites all over the U.S. When one of our end users has a problem with their PC or software they are trying to use they just jump on LogMeIn and we fix them right up.

Pros

LogMeIn was very stable when we used it. When requesting a code it worked every time without fail. Connections held strong and were rarely dropped.

Cons

We stopped using this as our main point of screen- sharing. About a year ago. We still use them as a back up, but there are better cheaper products on the market. We switched to a product where all users had accounts and transferring via a link was simple. They really need to do some updates, the interface looks old and clunky

I've used this in a business setting when I worked technical support. It is an invaluable tool for accessing a users device and solving an issue in less time then a conversation can do alone. It increased the efficiency of the technical support desk.

Pros

This software provides easy access to the end users device and makes remote support so much more convenient.

Cons

If you have a user who is not computer savvy getting them to click the proper buttons to allow remote access can be a challenge you need to work through before you can address the issue that they called about.

It’s what the pros use

My overall experience has been extremely positive. It gives an extremely professional appearance using LMI Rescue.

Pros

The ability to send a url, file, or email and have someone join, letting you remotely support their computer is unparalleled.

Cons

The software states that it supports iPhone remote support, but I could never get it to function.

LogMeIn Rescue helps keep our nationwide network up to date and on the same page. Our IT department is located out of state, so this program allows them to connect to our local computers and fix issues. New computer setup, printer connections, network connections, software updates; this program helps our company thrive.

Pros

LogMeIn Rescue allows IT administrators to log in your computer to fix issues. Simple key code creation on one end, then key code insertion on the other end, allows connection of IT to control computer. From coding to fix internal issues, to printer connections. Very easy to use and allows company computer systems to stay up to date.

Cons

In the five years of use, I have not found any dislikes.

Fantastic Remote Access Software to Service a Distant Computer

LogMeIn Rescue has allowed me to connect to any computer that I want without having to diagnose window's native remote desktop application. All of the heavy lifting is done by LogMeIn, which has allowed remote technicians to work faster and more efficiently.

Pros

Rescue is a fantastic piece of software that is used to diagnose computer problems remotely. Ranging from helping the elderly log into their email to severe computer issues, Rescue is acceptable for any problem. Rescue removes the diagnosing of remote desktop connection in windows and makes it easy. All you have to do is install the program, input the credentials to the target computer and access is granted. Rescue allows you to view the target's screen and control their computer. You can transfer files and chat to the target computer through Rescue's chat dialogue box.

Cons

To be fair, LogMeIn Rescue has some downfalls. When the target user download's the program, they have to be computer-illiterate to be able to install and access the application. Having a download that will automatically initiate a session would be awesome.

Super simple to use. A little expensive though.

Pros

We used this for a while before we moved on to a different solution. The simplicity of using it was the main draw. It was incredibly easy for our technicians and for our end users to connect. It was also really light on resources. Some of our customers are in remote areas without the fastest of internet. This was one of the only softwares to work well in low bandwidth with acceptable latency.

Cons

Its pricey. No other way about it. Its a premium quality product so I can understand why its pricey but it was still too expensive for a small org like ours.

Online PCs with LogMeIn

Pros

The best is that I can add my home's PC and any number of my work's PCs online under my account, so I can access my work's PC from home and vise verse, also I can add client's PCs to my account so I can easily connect to help them for any technical problems, the great also is that I can do that even from my cell phone, so even while transportation time, I can help my colleagues and my clients.

The performance is very good and it really bugs free, I like also the availability to turn the destination PC's screen to black, so others don't know what I'm doing, also no problems with CTRL+Alt+Delete for the destination PC as LogMeIn avails a special button for this.

Cons

Sometimes I find the destination PC is turned off, so I suggest to add a cell phone# with each added PC, so if it is Off and if I'm trying to connect to it, LogMeIn should send a message or a notification to the cell phone number's owner that "My Name" is trying to access your PC and it is Off, please turn it on.

I used LogMeIn Rescue in my last job. It was an awesome product for remote support

I was able to use LogMeIn Rescue to quickly and easily perform remote support and get trouble tickets closed for our customers. Awesome product!

Pros

I liked the ease of use. It was easy to connect to remote machines, and was very easy to navigate the interface. I was able to solve many support tickets with this software, quickly and easily!

Cons

There was not much I didn't like about LogMeIn Rescue. It was easy to use, and I was able to get things done using it.
