Game changer for my business
A software has definitely helped improve my overage cost for supplies and perishables as well as under selling myself
PROSI absolutely love that the software I was able to streamline my business in so many ways. The stem counter is priceless and helps me save so much money when I order flowers. I love being able to see average cost of each stem it helps me price designs accurately maximizing my profit. The invoicing feature makes everything so convenient and easy for my clients to make payments. I can't wait to see all the future features they will be implementing over the next few months and looking forward to being able to sync my calendar with my booked events.
CONSThe cost has significantly increased since I started using the software when it was first released.

Needs Updating
It's works for now. I may reevaluate next year. Support is great but it's not easy to suggest changes and I don't see that any are being implemented. For how old the company is, I expected better. There are many ways that they could improve it and make it more user friendly.
PROSThe support is fast and friendly. The main reason for buying this software is the built in flower pricing. It was fairly easy to start using but I think learning this software was probably easier for me because I've used 3 different types of similar software in the past.
CONSI'd like to be able to customize the templates more. I need more space for inspiration photos and would like to make it more on brand with my own font etc. I need to be able to drag and drop photos to make it faster. I need to be able to save PDFs so that I have planner's mood boards etc. at hand. I was expecting more inventory to be in there- there are many flowers that are very typically used that aren't there. The Accent Decor items are old and need to be updated, so they aren't very useful.

I was working for a large company that did a wide variety of rentals so they chose the best software for that. I started my own business and wanted something more florist based.

Big Learning Curve, but has Potential
Customer service is 5star. It's the only thing that has kept me using it. But it's been hard, I can't lie, switching to this system. I hope it gets easier, but I'm not there yet and we have been using it about 2 months.

Beautiful Proposals
I feel much more confident submitting proposals to my clients!
PROSThe finished product is absolutely gorgeous and certainly helps clients commit to booking due to it's eye catching proposal package! I also love being able to add our rental inventory and additional items in the item gallery. I do wish it took fewer steps to add items but it's nice to have such a high level of customization.
CONSIntegration with invoicing has been difficult. It also takes many steps to finalize the proposal. On average it takes me three to four hours from start to finish, which can be daunting. I'm sure there are ways to streamline the process. My next step is to search for tutorials to help make this a faster process. Something that would be helpful would be an integrated inquiry format that transferred the inquiry form on our website into a client profile. It seems like many things that could be a one or two click fill in when finalizing the proposal takes many repeated steps. I'm sure I'm not running the software as efficiently as I could be. I'll be looking into that in the future.

I loved the look of the Details proposals. It felt like the most professional end product and I wanted potential clients to feel like they're in good hands when they book their wedding with us.

Attractive and Streamlines
Great, great, great. I chose details because it had the most attractive interface for clients with the best ease of use for me on the back-end. I am confident that in time the "cons" I have (which are really only related to uploading more images) will be something that is addressed and included within the software. I am very happy with the software and am excited to see how this helps business run more smoothly during the busy months.
PROSI love how easy it is to build recipes and auto-populate an order. The final proposal that goes out to the client is attractive and looks very personalized which was a "must-have" for me being in a design field. I know they are developing more template options also, so this is exciting. The software feels intuitive and is very easy to understand and use. Each time I produce a proposal it gets easier and easier and I am confident this will save a lot of time. I love how easy building a recipe is; I used to build them at the end before ordering but building them out from the get go will help significantly in the busier months. I am new to the software but so far I am so so impressed and happy I chose Details. The customer service support I've received when figuring out the software has been friendly, attentive and knowledgable.
CONSThere is only space to upload 1 inspiration photo per item; I would love the functionality to add more than one as this is necessary often to communicate design concepts. Also more font and proposal template options but I know that is in the works. Really the only con for me is the limited inspiration images you can upload (I have found some "hacks" to do this....like loading into the "items" photo area where recipe item photos are, but the images are very small and this does not show as well). Currently I am sending an additional PDF to clients if need be, but again, it would be ideal if this was all rolled into the software (or at least I could upload the PDF into the software so all client files are truly in one place).

Details Flower Software to the Rescue!
Most Clients are not visual and not too terribly educated about the bounty of flower and greenery options available to them. Peonies and Roses aren't for everyone, so why not provide photos of the actual plants you want to use in the proposal? I wasn't doing this because it was so time consuming. Details solved that problem and upgraded the perception of my work through their professional proposal platform. I realized I was short-changing my work by incorrectly calculating the markup, not charging an Admin fee, or separate labor fee. This Ah Ha Moment was provided courtesy of the rep in the Details basic training class.
PROSThe integration of photos, inspiration, recipe, items gallery have made it much easier for my clients to understand what they are getting for their money without me having to make samples! I also like the customization capabilities, and I can't forget to mention the fabulous customer service and support team from Details!
CONSHaving to develop each gallery with my own recipes, items, photos and pricing, it's time consuming! It would be super helpful if your clients had the open to share recipes and post photos into the gallery. A one click "Share" button that would update the the mail details galleries would be terrific; saving everyone a lot of time and creating a more robust selling point for Details.

It seemed more geared towards independent floral designers whereas the other seemed more geared towards retail flower shop owner. Also the graphics and ability to customize, email proposals, create recipes for production purposes, print vendor orders, track payments, etc. It's a comprehensive solution. A bit more expensive that other products, but I'm hopeful it will pay for itself once I get the databases loaded and can use it proficiently and save time and increase my sales.

PROSI love the way the end product looks. My brides love that it very visual
CONSThe whole program could be more user friendly. I feel the customer should be able to e-sign the contact AND pay their retainer on the contract page. I believe we could get that customer to book faster if that was an option. Its difficult selecting items and finding items, this part seems to take a very long time looking up items. I HATE that the program will automatically delete what you did if you change your screen without saving, you can't go back and forth easy, drives me crazy and waist so much time. The Event page, the layout. It would be great if it could notify you when a customers is overdue so we can contact them. Its great that we can set the payment reminder in financial but it let say the name appeared in RED if a payment wasn't made, we could take care of it faster.

Fast to make recipes, Lovely proposals
I have so enjoyed working with Details. The tutorials are really relevant and there's a good energy throughout the company.
PROSMy favorite this about this software is the support team. They are friendly and fast, always willing to help. The proposal templates are very adaptable and very pretty. I love the drag and drop on the recipes -- it's really easy to choose the types of flowers, etc and use them on multiple recipes, and it's very fast to see if you are at or near full bunches.
CONSI wish there was a way to keep the counts and change the flower types out quickly, it's not too bad, but multiple steps. I also would like more reporting options, and a bit more customizing. But it's overall a great product.

You Must Have This Software
They've ALWAYS had fantastic customer service and tech support. They continue to grow and expand and make the software better.
PROSThis software has taken my business from a one woman show to now 12 employees in the matter of just a couple of years. It helps us stand out amongst the competition, minimizes human error, makes ordering a breeze, and helps us organize our team throughout the entire event pipeline.
CONSI wish the photos for the individual products were bigger for the client. And have the option to add more than one photo per line item.

Game Changing Software!
Customer support is stellar and everyone is always so friendly and helpful. They have to be rolling their eyes when I call because I feel like I call all the time but they never make you feel like you have a dumb question or you're wasting their time. If they don't have an answer, which is rare, they will get you one within a day.
PROSI love the overall beauty of the finished proposal and my brides love it too. I love not having to do math in my head anymore, on the fly, with a bride sitting next to me and the pressures on. I can work on the proposals on my time and the software tallies as I go. This keeps my profits up and I can set my prices higher if I'm not sure what I will be charged by my suppliers. It takes the guess work out of everything! There really is no need to meet in person anymore unless the brides choose to.
CONSOne update I don't like at all is having to save all the time. This never used to be. It gets old and takes time. If you don't save you lose your changes and you can't leave a page without a save. The software is prompting you to save, even after a save, just when you want to go to another page. This is something they really need to fix. Also no customer support on weekends. I'm busy working 7 days a week so to be down for 2 and a half days is annoying sometimes.

Professional and Beautiful Proposal Templates
Details Software has helped to elevate our business to the next level by giving us better pricing tools and beautiful proposals that our brides absolutely love. It allows us to really show our brides that we understand their vision and can bring it to life.
PROSI love how this software helps me to keep my prices and margins where they should be, there is no more guessing or uncertainty. I have a much clearer picture of what my costs are going in so I can quote and budget with confidence. The proposal templates are so organized and beautiful. I feel like they really give me that wow factor when sending proposals to prospective brides.
CONSI wish that the worksheet would auto save instead of me having to hit the save button. I have lost info a few times when I didn't save on one device and then opened the document on another device.

Details Elevating My Small Business
Details has elevated my business and brought it to the next level. It has made my business more professional and with it, I have booked more weddings and overall made more of a profit. My clients rave about the proposals and visually, it's much easier for them to see what their wedding day will look like with their flowers. It's saved me time and well worth the investment.
PROSHands down the proposal generation. It has been a game changer to my business in that all my clients rave about how pleasing it is to look at. They appreciate that each item is broken down by price, that they can see what flowers and greenery will be used in each item and that all the information is in one place, including pricing breakdown, due dates for payments, etc. I love the stem counter - it helps to ensure I don't over or under buy which ultimately saves me money and increases my profit. I also love the invoice generator and that clients can pay directly from the invoice after the receive it. I used to use Quickbooks before I had Details and it was such a pain and took extra time to have to generate a separate invoice and include all of the information.
CONSThere is a learning curve which take a bit to get used to how everything works, but the online classes, articles and customer support is amazing if you take the time to seek these out. It also takes some time to build out your recipes, but after that, things go pretty quickly when putting a proposal together. Details is implementing new upgrades and changes which has made the software overall easier to navigate in the few years I've had it.

Love this Software
Mainly I like having all my recipes/events in one area - but I have had that with other software as well - so not alot different as far as solving anything - but I think this company is a better quality company.
PROSit has the stem counting / costing / ordering features I need with a beautiful proposal and a reasonable price. Customer service is responsive. No surprise up charges like my last software.
CONSClient relationship management is very limited - I currently use another software in conjunction for this. and Accounting /reporting options are very limited - I also use other software for this as well. Something as simple as a report of where all my leads come from does not work here.

They did not follow through on promises and started charging extra for things that were supposed to be part of my original plan. making it much more expensive to get what I originally signed up for and that seemed scummy.

Blossom loves Details!
I love the ability to customize our proposals. It helps me in placing orders and to put out a professional proposal. Customer service is absolutely outstanding. I love the online classes and tutorials and the benefits they bring with host designers.
CONSI feel like details is expensive for my small business. I do not like the one percent add-on charge.

Thankful for details
LOVE IT! Will continue to use it. I book enough weddings to justify the cost, and it saves me so much time.

This is my first year using a CRM program and it really keeps me organized with less work.
I appreciate that they are constantly updating the software based on feedback. The new dashboard is so helpful!!!! The ability to create recipes and have them translate into an easy stem count order form has saved me a lot of time. I love that the system tracks payments (I used to use a spreadsheet) and has an integrated cc processing system. It also ensures all your items are correctly added. (I used to use a spreadsheet and had issues with formulas not integrating newly added items. No more mistakes now that I use this system.) The template gives a professional product to share with my clients. I love the ability to hide sections that I don't feel are necessary, customize images, have the contract terms and financials all integrated into 1 document. Genius to be able to mail clients a link and have them electronically sign it. Also great to be able to expire the proposal to discourage price shoppers. Great customer service. Whenever I get stuck, they call me back and are friendly and patient.
CONSEmpty pages within the proposal. I would love the ability to hide them. I realize it has to do with automatic page breaks, but it bothers me. Wish I could adjust contract and payment terms at an individual level. ex: standard terms are great for normal clients, but I have several last minute customers where we need abbreviated payment terms. If I change it at the company level, it changes all my existing and future contracts.

worth every penny
I love how organized and aesthetic this software platform is. I love how it's easy to write recipes and ensure that what I'm charging my clients is what I'm providing. I love how easy it is to generate workflow documents for my team. I love how getting paid by clients is super easy and streamlined. I've been using Details Flowers Software since it first was launched and I have loved it and every update that they have created to save me time and benefit my business ever since. Thank you so much.
CONSI would love the option to manipulate and alter the templates so as to ensure that my proposals look different and unique from my competitors, who may be using the same software, and on-brand and in alignment with my aesthetics.

Details has helped increase our sales, communicate with our team and have a more transparent view of our margins. We are so grateful to have something that allows us to be more efficient and is easy to use! Can not say enough amazing things about this software!!
PROSWe love how it helps us stay on track with how to price our product accurately! We also love the way it presents the proposal to our clients in a very visual and organized way. It has cut our closing time down significantly which helps pay for the software 10 fold!

A solid proposal generating product that could do so much!
Positive. This has saved time during the proposal process allowing my team to sell more.
PROSThe ease of proposal generation including the grid for ordering and pull lists
CONSI dislike a few key areas: 1. Pricing for credit cards is so very expensive and out of range provided by Bank of America for example. 2. Little to no integration with quickbooks online and what it can do, is overpriced for the lack of integration 3. zero inventory system to see what is rented for future dates

wanted a better looking proposal. Was also under the understanding of better integration with QuickBooks online with better pricing for this option.

Major time saver and easy system
We love using this system! Since signing up over two years ago, our business has double due to beautiful proposal layout/time saver. So easy to use and the company is top notch on all areas!!
CONSWe would like to see photos of the flowers when we print out our cost list aka Blooms and Greenery and on recipe list for ordering/designing.

Love writing proposals because of Details!
I have been using Details software since 2018 and have really not had a problem. The little hiccups that I have had the support staff has been on top of the problem.
PROSI like the setting up my own recipes. The look and being able to change templates for different Brides. All the info that the Bride sees when they get their proposal.
CONSI would love to be able to see the address where the flowers will be delivered to, not just the venue location. My Brides really get confused by that little tid bit.

Details has changed the way we do business...for the better!
Better profits, ease of closing sales, couples love it!
PROSThis software allows us to show our couples what the flowers look like, giving them a great visual and understanding of the overall look. It does all the pricing for us! Although it takes me a bit of time upfront (I'm still a little slow at it...) it saves me SO much time on the back end it's unreal! Plus no more calculation errors. And more profit!! Our couples love it as well, and I have closed many sales without ever meeting the couples... Customer service is fantastic! They take note of your suggestions, and even tell you if your ideas are already in the works.
CONSAt first, it seemed a little "buggy" with odd things happening. But as time has gone on, those issues are few and far between.

I love that this software keeps me organized and makes me feel better prepared for my events.
CONSI need to spend more time organizing my "inventory of items" to use in the software. I haven't dedicated time for that and there are lots of flowers that I wish were automatically in the system, but I understand why they arent and why we need to input them for our own market, etc. Some of the features are not things I personally use (quotes from my wholesalers etc.) They don't have time for that and are not connected to technology in that way.
Reasons for switching to Details Flowers
I was an original "Beta tester" for Stem counter and really enjoyed the product, but at the time you had more features that they were still in the process of developing and that got a bit stressful as the kinks were worked out. I think they have worked out their kinks now, but its way too much work to switch and I don't have any complaints. I do somewhat wish that I wasn't having to pay as much right now because I have so few events this year, but I don't know how I would function without it.
