SumUp, the best to sell and make money.

My experience was in the ads I saw on TV, and I decided to find out more, it was in 2018 that I saw that interest rates are low, starting with the excellent service for sale and after sales, delivery to my residence was fast, without any problem, and I have been using the device for 2 years and sales have grown since then, very good, well worth it.

PROS

I liked the software because you can earn good money on it by selling, usually people arrive at the store and have no money but she knows that there she accepts card machines the customer can buy, fast, practical and safe.

CONS

I never had any problem with SumUp, excellent service.

Sum up good for card or remote payment links

I've never had any issues, occasionally a connection issue but a simple reset sorted it.

PROS

In my business the sumup card reader is critical as students and parents all naturally assume card payment facilities are available and setup for bank transfer etc was very straightforward

CONS

It seems certain cards (mainly amex) take quite a few days for payments to clear. No idea why

Do not buy if you’re in Australia

Do not get this if you’re in Australia. Buy square instead. I purchased 5.5 weeks before my market event for Christmas, where I had purchased a lot of stock to sell. The device came quickly, I’ll give them that. I set it up, loaded all my products on the back end and did the verification process. The reader sat there for the rest of the time until two days before my event, I turned it on just to make sure it was working. Everything seemed fine but something in the app said I needed to verify myself, which I had already done (sent my drivers license etc), so I did it again and it said it should only take a few hours to verify, which was fine because I still had two days until the event. The day before it was still not verified but in the app it tells you that it’s connected and working, so I assumed it would be ok after going through the verification process twice already! There’s also no number to call, so you don’t have a lot of options or support on a weekend. I got to the event and the reader declined ALL payments because of a security issue. I lost thousands of dollars in sales because nobody caries cash anymore. I sent a support ticket with all of this info and I get a response THREE days later saying that my account is now verified and I can start taking transactions. Bit late and I can’t get rid of this Christmas stock now until Christmas 2024. 6 months of planning down the drain because I decided to give SumUp a go, when I should have just gone with Square.

PROS

It’s relatively low cost upfront and cheaper transaction fees but I never got to use it!

CONS

Customer service is non existent. You have to verify yourself multiple times and then it’s likely it won’t accept payments on the day you need it most

Reason for choosing SumUp

Outlay cost was less and transaction fees lower, but I should have gone with square. It’s more reliable

Debitoor for the freelancer who wants to keep up to date with their business

Debitoor is used by our one man business clients. We have found that they are able to see what is happening in their businesses from a financial perspective using this software. We then halp them with more detailed reporting and statutory reporting on a monthly basis.

PROS

Debitoor is great for our clients that run their own businesses as a one man show. They use it to send invoices to clients when onsite and when they are not onsite the software can tell you when your client has received and opened your invoice. This is great for small one man businesses as one can then immediately follow up on when payment will be made.

CONS

Debitoor does not allow for the full accounting function to be done on it, but it is a great tool for a one man business to have so they keep up to date with what is happening in the business as well as for simple cash flow and income statement reports .

Perfect for small companies

PROS

no monthly fee, just a ver small percentage of income which is taken before it goes into account. cheaper than any band or world pay option for small companies. machine is also portable and stylish

Good value and a no-brainer for offline trading

PROS

The physical SumUp is sleek and looks good on display. I also like that there is no recurring subscription / service fee - you pay upfront for the card reader, and they deduct a reasonable fee from any transactions that are processed through their platform. Inexpensive and good value for even small traders. The battery also lasts a very long time on a charge and doesn't deplete even when left for longer periods.

CONS

The card reader will sometimes connect to other SumUps in the area. Not a huge problem since it will ask you to confirm whether the ID number is correct before you proceed, just a bit annoying when you have customers waiting.

It is an excellent software!!

I've a small photographic company that is emerging and I'm looking for the right tools to accompany it in its growth. Having an administrator of invoices, forms and budgets, expenses that also allows me to have a register of clients and products is something that would do well to my company, so I am evaluating the purchase of this service. I think it offers many benefits and at a good price.

PROS

The interface is intuitive and it's very friendly. It's easy to use, everything is very organized. Immediately after placing the country in which I reside, the exact amount of the tax charged in the country is placed. You can modify the templates of the emails that customers will receive with the invoice data. It allows to have a client registry, saves predetermined messages. It allows to take an expense management. . I can have a list of products The truth is that I like it a lot. I'm looking at the trial version and it's convincing me to have it in my business. The prices are quite accessible and from what I see you can easily climb if you have a small company like mine.

CONS

So far everything I've seen and tried from the software I really like, including the price since it's very accessible.

A very good payment processing system

It has made processing payments very easy

Very good accounting tool

PROS

Most complete accounting tool on the market for freelancers and very good Interface. Good invoicing funtionality & great app

CONS

If you do the yearly tax declaration on your own, I sometimes find it hard to transfer the data. I miss something like an "Anlagenverzeichnis" on a yearly basis

Facilidad y funcionalidad

En general nuestra experiencia con SumUp On ha sido muy gratificante ya que ha aportado a nuestra empresa un servicio extra necesario, facilitando la gestión de cobros y pagos.

PROS

Lo que mas nos ha gustado del software es que tiene un montón de características en el mismo software, desde administrador de facturas, a tienda online e incluso dispone de una tarjeta física vinculable a tu cuenta. Además lo que nos gusta mucho son la variedad de dispositivos TPV que tienen, funcionan super bien, son elegantes y a muy buen precio, perfectos para los pagos en persona de nuestro negocio.

CONS

Lo que menos nos ha gustado por decir algo es que las facturas, recibos y correos electrónicos están muy limitados ha personalizarlos, es decir únicamente puedes poner tu logotipo como mucho y la información de tu empresa, pero mantienen una estructura fija que no puede ser modificada.

Efficient and practical program

All in all: I can recommend this software.

PROS

The user interface is very simple. I write all my offers and bills exclusively with debitoor. I have my finances totally under control and can easily digitally review all my expenses. The app runs seamlessly (android). I honestly do most of my work on my phone while I'm on the go, thanks to debitoor. The customer service is quick to reply and friendly.

CONS

I don't have anything negative to report.

Absolutely easy to get an invoice - lesss than 30 seconds! Great to admin all costs incl. the pdf files which are read automatically so that I only need to check and add Especially its totally easy (GERMAN market) to send your tax-farecast to the local authorities by one-click only - very cool!

Price / performance is good. Easy work.

It would be nice if it is saved automatically. Often it happens if not cached, everything has to be entered again.Otherwise, I am convinced of the simplicity. Sufficient for my company size. Price performance fits.

I love the SUMUP application, I use it for online sales without the machine

Only compliments, great experience with many sales and profits.

PROS

The best things about SUMUP are the low interest rates, the buyer installment options, the option to split the fees between seller and buyer and the ease of use of the application

CONS

I have no complaints about this application, it was indicated by a friend and I have been using it for more than two years

Quality execution of too few features

While its overall quality is great, Debitoor doesn't help out in nearly enough ways to be considered a complete book-keeping solution for small businesses who need to digitally report tax information. If you outsource the entirety of that work to an accountant who also works with Debitoor, that might be different, but if your starting out doing as much of the work as possible by yourself, Debitoor is not the way to go.

PROS

Debitoor makes basic accounting, invoicing & payments really easy. Its UI & apps are really intuitive and easy to use and a greate way to get started when first launching a business / freelance endeavour.

CONS

Debitoor sadly does not provide nearly enough features in the reporting departement. Not only can it not submit the necessary VAT-pre-reports on its own, it also has no reasonable option to export end-of-year tax reporting information to the tax office or even just another product that can take over that part of the accounting work.

Cheap and easy to use, quick to payout

Amazing - would definitely recommend for all small and medium businesses.

PROS

The battery in the card reader lasts FOR AGES. The software is really easy to use and the ability to text or email receipts is good. The best bit is that it pays out the next day.

CONS

To be honest the only issue I’ve had it sometimes it is slow to connect to the cars scanner but other then that it’s great.

Reason for choosing SumUp

Stripe were a lot more expensive.

I love sumup

Sum up is great. Great prices and always reliable when we need it. Easy to connect up and charge cards

PROS

Easy to use. Low cost per transactions. Great to link to an online shop too. Easy to make invoices. Items details can be inputted.

CONS

I don’t think there are any issues I’ve had yet, other then the inability to have several logins to manage a company account with ease.

PROS

Saved me so much time!

242/5000 Debitoor helps me save a lot of time (and money). I can concentrate on my job and do not have to deal with accounting. Especially at the beginning of my freelance career Debitoor helped me a lot.

PROS

I like the simple interface and the functionality. I do not need a tutorial to understand how Debitoor works, everything works intuitively.

CONS

I would like to see more design options for offers and invoices.

LE PIRE SYSTÈME DE CAISSE ET SERVICE CLIENT QUE J’AI CONNUE

Bonjour, je vous partage mon MAUVAIS expérience avec POS Pro SumUp Tiller System de Caisse, pour pas que vous aussi vous vous retrouver piégé par des commerciaux MALHONNÊTTES .
J’ai pris contact avec eux, j’ai expliqué mon secteur d’activité, j’ai préciser ce dont j’avais réellement besoin, j’ai précisé ce dont j’attendais d’un logiciel de caisse . Le vendeur au téléphone m’a assuré que tout les fonctionnalité que j’ai demander est fournis dans leur logiciel de caisse pour un tarif soit disant remisé a 74€ par mois. J’ai donc tester le logiciel et j’ai remarqué  qu’il manquer des outils, des fonctionnalistés, j’ai même était sur le back office et il n’y avait même pas de rapport de stock. J’ai donc préciser au commercial et il m’a confirmé que une fois l’abonnement pris certain fonctionnalités seront débloquées. J’ai donc pris l’abonnement et a m’a surprise aucune des fonctionnalité étais disponible. J’ai donc contacter le service client qui m’a annoncé que les fonctionnalités que j’ai demander, sont en cours de développement et que ce n’étais pas disponible. Donc ça c’est le premier GROS PROBLÈME que j’ai eu POS « Pro » SumUp Tiller System. J’ai quand même utiliser le système de caisse en attendant les soit disant «  Fonctionnalité en cours de développement » soit mise a jours et la en situation réelle j’ai compris que leur logiciel n’est pas du tout fais pour mon activité et aussi le plus gros soucis c’est qu’il y a ÉNORMÉMENT DE BUG entre le logiciel et les TPE SumUp.
Je tiens a précisé que mes équipement était toute neuve et compétant . iPad 11 Pro 2023, Imprimant ticket EPSON TM-M30II 80MM et Box Orange Fibre en plein centre ville.

Avec ces nombreux problèmes que j’ai cités , j’ai envoyé des photo et contacté le service client pour demandé l’annulation de mon contrat, ils m’ont refusé et m’oblige a rester en contrat avec eux jusqu’à mes 1 ans donc jusqu’à Octobre 2024. J’ai fais plusieurs demande et j’ai expliqué plusieurs fois les problèmes que j’ai eu avec le logiciel mais rien a faire ils sont sans pitié et malhonnêtes.
Aujourd’hui je me retrouve a payé 74€ par mois pour un logiciel que je n’utilise pas.

Alors faites très attention . POS Pro SumUp Tiller System est une très mauvaise système de caisse, leur logiciel est encore en cours de développement et ça ne vaut pas 74€ par mois. Je déconseille ce système de caisse. C’est le pire Système de caisse et le pire service client que j’ai connue.

PROS

Zéro avantage. Logiciel incomplet et logiciel avec beaucoup de bugs informatique et connexion.

CONS

Les fonctionnalités manquante du logiciel :
-Pas de Rapport de stock.
-Pas de calculateur pour faire les fermeture de caisse.
-Pas de vrai entré et sortie de stock.
-Pas d’outils pratique pour faire l’inventaire.
-Pas la possibilité de joindre des dépenses ou facture d’achat.
-Pas de rapport complet sur la valeur du stock en euros.

Les Bug du logiciel :
-Très lent pour les encaissements par carte.
- Perde de connexion récurent entre le logiciel et le TPE SumUp
-L’application se ferme en plein encaissement.
-Problème de connexion entre l’application et l’imprimante ticket.
-Démarrage de l’application lent et il faut redémarré l’iPad a chaque fois
