The ability to handle recurring billing. All subscription management is totally taken care of by Chargify and it’s easy to jump in and manage.

Definitely is a great tool when you need to have in your eCommerce platform a Payment Plan. Easy to use and amazing customer service.

When we went through the procurement process, SaaSOptics ended up winning over Zuora primarily on price, but also because we were impressed at the intuitive nature of the product.

Any difficulties I have with the product are well made up for by the amazing customer services.

Again, the people have been incredible to work with. Management of imported historical data is not user friendly, but the management analytics functionality is pretty powerful.

If you're only software option for managing Sales Tax is the baked in option within QBO,  their Avatax integration is significant improvement on QBO.

A few ideas for improvement would be the ability to combine products so that the invoice generated is a combination of the products.

At the same time, when I pull this info, I also cross-compare against my self maintained spreadsheet to correct errors on the billing profiles.

For starters, there is no link for user to log in on their home page. You actually need to navigate to an obscure link hidden away in an email.

I also enjoy the fact that SaaSOptics is continually pushing out new features that directly impact and improve every day processes, not just higher level reporting or UI.

It's been great for our size of company. I'm sure there are more robust softwares out there that can do more, but all of those were out of our price range.

There are a lot of features but I often have trouble  figuring out where to go or what reports I need.

Customer Support has always been excellent, with prompt and thoughtful responses.

The only thing that tracks deferred income and gives fantastic reports, all accurately, while syncing with QuickBooks.

Transactions are easily entered & invoicing is well automated. Revenue recognition is well done.

This app is invaluable to our finance team as we are a small team for a growing start-up business and do not have the time to calculate and manage revenue in spreadsheets.

Personally, it's our only software we use at the moment for billing. I believe other functions would be extremely helpful once they become available such as the workflow.

Building reporting can be a bit complex & it can be pretty slow to pull certain reports. Inability to link between multiple data sources in reporting which can be frustrating.

There is a lot of functionality that is left to be desired. Out of the box reporting and data manipulation is very rigid and makes it hard to run recurring reports.

The UI is quite robust (if a little hard to use at times). The rules are easy to follow, and it does it's core business well.

The most customizable in the industry. Great integrations with salesforce.

I don't like the limited data verification in the software. For example, there is no email address validation in API when creating Contacts.

What sets Zuora apart is it's ability for revenue recognition and for the more financially integrated pieces required for accounting.

Sometimes can be confusing with how it sends to Z billing but for the most part I don't have much to complain about.

There are no SLA's in place for the support team to get back with you. There integration from Zuora to SF is awful and half of the time the data does not appear.

The team provided by Zuora for the integration was very hard to work with.

The setup and license costs are a barrier to entry: the investment makes sense for concrete, sizeable business cases - less so for small-scale or exploratory attempts.

They had just purchased Zuora and it was my job to implement it. It was a seamless and great experience.

Reporting needs some work, especially out of the box it's not the easiest to run.

Organized and great looking. Once you find a groove in this software, it's pretty easy to use.

On the other hand, the integration of the software with others in the market is very good, such is the case of our CRM that joins perfectly with Zuora.

Zuora's notifications are undoubtedly one of the best qualities it has, since it allows us to send them via email to all customers who require it, before their renewal date.

THere are lots of reports and features that can be hard to use and figure out. Alos the speed of the reporting is a little laggy due to the memory space available.
