Pros/Cons
Pros
- An easy to use and access module with superb support if required. The team are readily available to help and all users benefit from other users experiences and upgrades.
- The rewards of using both friendly and fit for purpose systems are great; our end users are very happy with both products, reflected in their positive feedback.
- The customer service and support is excellent. The ability to schedule reports for automatic generation and other metrics are brilliant for busy managers.
Cons
- The reporting module is restricted to Administrative staff and audit scoring features are limited. Also features in some Smartforms modules are not available in other modules.
- We had a problem with operation employees making their updates at the end of their shift and what could have been a 10 user account then became 50 users at one time.
- Having to have different new chemical approvals for products which are the same but have different manufacturers has been difficult for us.
Pros
- My experience with the software has always been good, it is visual and easy to use and the customer service has always been excellent, quick and effective.
- Having access to this helps all areas keep their MSDS/SDS and chemical control in line by having the ability to know what chemicals/products are approved for use in the department.
- Excellent customer service and fantastic subscription service allowing consecutive users.
Cons
- It is difficult to get rid of old mistakes once you have added them onto the system, for example if you create a base control by mistake.
- Functionality can be difficult to understand and apply to individual business needs. Often there is a lack of support materials specific to the issue being encountered.
- I have yet to find anything about this software that would warrant a negative comment.
