Timely is a cloud-based appointment scheduling solution that caters to individual professionals and small and mid-size businesses, including beauty salons, hair salons, health clinics, massage therapists and personal trainers.

Users can run their appointment schedules remotely, generate reports and send notifications and reminders. Features include calendar management, which lets users book or rebook appointments, initiate group bookings and classes, manage recurring bookings and add multiple activities to a single booking.

Timely enables customers to book their tickets online through links embedded in websites or through Facebook. It offers sales and marketing support and reporting features.

This solution also offers automated SMS and email reminders and securely stores customer data including personal details, booking, emails, sales and other notes.

Timely offers integration with third-party applications such as Google Calendar, MailChimp, Xero, ZVend and MYOB.

Timely offers services on a monthly subscription basis that includes support via phone and email.

Efficient, but still needs some adjustments

I'm a very busy stylist/mother. After I had my children I had to cut a few budgets, and my salon software was one of them. I decided to try out Timely after leaving SimplyBook.me. Timely has a lot of great features, but not everything was available that I was able to do with the other program. After I came across the issue that I am unable to book my services based on my time, I decided to switch once again. As you can imagine, it was a hassle, but it got done.

Pros

The automated reminders are awesome! Although I did have a few clients say they never got their reminders, and when we checked they went to their junk/spam folders. Reporting is a great feature with Timely as well

Cons

I was not able to set my own time for services. I'm not sure why that feature was not available, but being a stylist that is a MUST HAVE to be effective with your work. Also, there were no other language options except English.

So specific and handful

Pros

One thing I most like about Timely is that it is focused on just one field which salon. It is precise and intuitive. It is a software that all hair stylist I recommended it to, uses to take an appointment easy and fast.
You can integrate with Wix, run email campaigns, send SMS/Text message notifications to customers.
I recommend this software to you if you are a hair stylist.
It is very handy

Timely really is a great calendar tool

Timely gave us a good calendar option to preview to the client and they loved it.

Pros

It works well with Wix. Lots of features and layout options.

Cons

The only drawback is cost. But that's really with any 3rd party tool that you implement on your website.

In a simple word it is a good software

More than good but not excellent

Pros

Very easy to use, we can add the various information and different user. They provide 15days of free service to use to everyone, design and the user interface of the software is more than good.
We can easily track our project and also track the upcoming projects. Customer can book their tickets online through links that was provided by the other parties. They provide SMS and reminder email to all the user to update them in the future. Customer support is excellent we can call them and also email there customer support id.

Cons

We can't send SMS more than 150 words. Application for Android must be available. Don't have different time zone for different calendar.

Good for a one person oparation

What I liked the most is that it was so easy to use and very intuitive, has all the features needed for a small business.

Cons

The only thing that I found I was missing is some kind of loyalty or rewards program for the customers, you have to keep track of such things in a separate platform.

This is a great software for anyone taking bookings & running a business.
It is super easy to use, the customer support is very good.
The price point is in line with the services it DOES offer.
Online booking with a system that allows you full control on how to run your business & accept payment online. There are very few comparisons to what this software offers.

Cons

I am sad that they still do not have a built in loyalty program, its really the only thing its missing for my needs. I have been hoping for the last 3 years they would get one but nothing as of yet. They have made strides in many other areas, this would be such a bonus for me if they would implement that.

Pros

It is vey reliable and new features are always being added and updated. It is extremely easy to use and the support staff are always accessible. The Timely Blog is always full of relevant , interesting content.

Cons

Having used Timely for close to three years, there is nothing I dislike. Admittedly, I run a very small business with basic requirements.

I helped install this product for my brother who is a hair dresser.

This software is great!! Simple to use for both the client and the Employer. The ease of changing and booking appointments is great!!

Slick way to manage appointments. Very easy to set up and maintain

Pros

Integrating the online booking system on my website was extremely easy. Was also able to theme it to match the colour scheme of the site which is great!

Cons

Was a little bit tricky figuring out how to select which services should be available for booking using the online services. Eventually figured it out, but it was a bit unintuitive initially.

Pros

Unclutter your work space with stickups and pieces of paper that you somehow never find. This cloud based software is really great at keeping appoinments time in an orderly fashion. It is designed for beauty parlors or busy professionals alike.

Cons

If you have different time zone, like they have in Russia, better be alert when you make your appointments.

Great Design. Awesome Tool

Pros

The design and the UI are gorgeous, the app is super easy to use. We tried it for a few weeks but just didn't need all the extra functionality for the paid plans. Recommend though.

Cons

Didn't have many complaints when going through free trial with the team. The software was a little over our budget given where we were at the time.

Easy and simple way to manage time and plan out your week.

Pros

The best thing about timely is that you could plan in advance. If a client needs to reschedule you can easily move their appointment to another day and fill that void with a different block. Extremely easy.

Cons

For the free version, only one user is allowed and only 5 projects. This does limit it's use. Another issue is that it is too easy to change time blocks, it should be less touchy.
