We switched over to Microsoft Dynamics last year, and the field service features were worth the switch alone! As a field technician, I appreciate the level of detail I can see with each project/customer, and the automated scheduling feature is amazing!

Cons

We don't use the accounting side of Microsoft Dynamics as it challenging to navigate and we already have our own accounting system in place that works great for us.

There are a lot more systems out there that equal or better the Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

Pros

We could add and keep track of our customers which was the driver for putting in a CRM. It did integrate with Sharepoint so we could get our reporting through it.

Cons

Granted the Dynamics AX it was installed with is an older, unsupported version so we were forced to use and older version of CRM which limited the features and the reliability. Integrating it was a long nightmare.

This product is both loved and hated in our office. The ability to access CRM in the cloud is great for telecommuting team members. It is highly customization to our agency's needs, which is probably it's best quality. We were able to customize this so that it met all our specific needs.

Cons

It replaced an old and outdated CRM system, so generally people appreciate it, but there are constant issues with it, especially after updates. Little bugs that need to be worked out, and we need to call tech support for. Overall, this is a good product but could be better with less bugs or tech issues.

Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM is easy to use, but I feel like if you use one CRM, then you can easily figure out how to use other ones - the basic features are similar across CRMs.

Cons

When I used SFDC, accounts were tied to sales reps but that is not the case with the Microsoft CRM. This causes issues when someone like myself works with all territories, because I have to make sure that when I add an opportunity, I change the owner to the sales rep or he/she will not be able to see it.

Great reporting tools, clean/crisp dashboards, insights into social media prescence, keep all customer data in one place.

Cons

The marketing team for the firm I interned with had issues with finding contacts in the Dynamics CRM. We would send out bulk emails to potential clients about webinars and such and then get a report back about emails that bounced back. When we tried to look for the contacts, it was impossible to find the individuals that were on the bulk email list.

Also, the scoring options for lead generations was also confusing for our team to implement.

Dynamics Nav is easy to use and very similar to any Microsoft office product. The product is versatile and easier to understand and flow through. In terms of functionality is it similar to sage 500. But it offers better GUI and tailored for the role of the user. The search functionality in the RTC client allow easy searches of different functionality without navigating. Finance granule are easy to implement although limited -budget and cash flow compared to other ERP such as oracle. Also inter company transactions are fairly easy to use Sales order to Purchases order etc. limitation are when you have more that couple of companies then it becomes very hard to use since company must be chosen before transacting.

Web client and availability of client in the web is great

Cons

Fairly expensive to implement on top of the license cost per user some additional granule may require additional fee. Also since this is build on top of the Microsoft stack, sql may need to be purchased especially if you have reporting requirements. SQL runtime edition has some limitation especially for SME's. SQL is not cheap.

Product defects are hard to address if you have customizations in the software.

It may be an overkill for a small-sized organization with less than 1000 customers to manage. All the capabilities mentioned in the Pros may not be handy and requires a considerable amount of effort to enable them. CRM is not a solution for document management though it promotes collaboration with customers.
Use Dynamics only if you need lots of above capabilities, otherwise, it leads to over-engineering the solution. Hence don't fall into Microsoft Sales pitch

Improved my sales!

Pros

Everything is cloud based so you can have all the information and leads you need on your mobile apps. The apps work with ios, android and microsoft. You also can work offline and once you connect to the internet everything will sync.

Cons

The subscription is month to month. An anual subscription would be great. However, this tool is great if you're looking to improve sales.

Inventory tracking and the ability to combine products into blended items. It has great reporting features.

Cons

Allocations sometimes get hung up for some reason. The use of Bins is unnecessary for our purposes.
