Microsoft Dynamics 365 provides integrated solutions that allow businesses to better track

leads, automate field service, drive sales and improve operations using mobile, enterprise-ready

business apps from the cloud.

The system's business apps, ranging from sales & customer service to financials and operations, are designed to be deployed as a package or independently as companies grow and expand, and all work together as part of a larger software solution.

Microsoft Dynamics 365 offers supporting apps for iOS, Androids, and Windows Phone; they are

available offline, so users can work without data connectivity and data will sync automatically

once a connection is reestablished.

Seamless integration with Outlook, Lync, SharePoint, OneNote, Word, and other Microsoft

applications to save time and minimize double-entry. The system is designed for collaboration;

users can interact in Yammer, quickly add colleagues to projects and meetings, and view where

others are working in documents in real-time.

    Dynamics review by an old integrator

    The tool will accompany you in your sales and customer service. Today working in these sectors without CRM is very complicated for the sustainability of the company. It allows him to keep a traceability of trade.

    Pros


    I worked a few years with this tool at an integrator pure player as a commercial. The tool benefits from the publisher's willingness to attack the CRM segment. It is also very powerful when the environment is Microsoft (outlook, exange ...). This is a strength when you know that the majority of computers are equipped. We also find the features of nu crm classic (customer profile, companies, opportunities)

    Cons


    There are two points to improve in this tool. First of all it is less easily amenable to its competitors and there is a great need to live the tool to your business (working with an integrator). moreover, the will of Microsoft to attack the cloud segment is felt on the price of licenses on premise (ie local) which is high.

    It covers most of the financial packages includes AR, AP, SO, PO, Bank Management etc..It has some built-in reporting capabilities too.

    Notable feature: multi-currency support and can be deployed in cloud.

    It covers every CRM functionality which a large enterprise needs for CRM activities.
    Designing your own forms and entities is a very good and flexible function. So you can add and remove new entities and also fields for your customers and related issues.


    Cons

    Difficult to integrate with Microsoft Sharepoint and after integration, if a user wants to change the folder structure in Sharepoint, it's approximately impossible
    Difficult to search and report.
    Too many concepts in one software have caused that it is difficult to understand and learning. for example understanding lead, account, contact, company, ... and their relationship with each other in the software is not too easy.
    It is a little bit slow. actually, it needs a lot of hardware resource for operating.

    Dynamics has been fantastic to work with, and our partner has made it all the better. SalesPad is almost a must-have program for users, however. The UX of GP isn't great.

    GP is extendable, and is meant for medium to large businesses. It has worked perfectly for my company.

    The underlying software architecture is aged, and it shows more and more as time goes on.

    I used Dynamics as our main ERP/Accounting system at a small technology company. The system was easy to learn and use and worked very well for transactional processing. Dynamics did not have a lot of complex reporting capability out of the box so was not great for analysis.
