Thing that I love most about the Hack The Box is its structured way of learning . Anyone who wants to explore and learn Cybersecurity can easily find their way out through hackthbox because it has dedicated and individual path for every subdomain in Cybersecurity and also it has Level-Based [ tier ] learning which is also very useful to upgrade and know our current potential in the skills And also their Customer Support

It has different websites for different things like for academic ( learning ) , CTF ( for playing CTF ) like that . Its always hard to navigate through their website quickly. But a few days back they have introduced the merging feature . Its fine now

Hack the Box has very quality content. I learned a lot from this platform. It contains a lot gamified content. Also it is not too expensive and it worth the money.

Sometimes infrastructure is not 100% working, and the web contains several less severe bugs. I had several issues with the bugs in the web and infrastructure. All my issue was solved with HTB support.

Ease of use Useful content Labs are informative

I have tried so many of these learning platforms and I have DEFINITELY learned more using HTB. I will continue to use it throughout my career for sure.

I have a really good experience with hack the box when I joined the plateform i had a really low/basic level in cybersecurity now I am abble to do a pentesting on my own

What i like the most about Hack the Box is that almost every single subject about pentesting are mentioned in the plateform, and as beginner it is really easy to understand and even as advanced level they are still giving you tips and usefull informaitons

On the entreprise part I think the user interface is really hard to take in hand, by exemple if you are doing a module and you are switching page, you dont really have any buttons for the "continue learning"

Overall it is a best place to build.ur experience and get ready for the OSCP exam.

I love the content or study material in terms of academy and Normal hack the box. I love the retired rooms feature which help me in starting the HTB. I also love the University CTF which are being conducted.

One of the big thing I have is individual domain for each thing like ctf, academy which they r joining now. It is hard for beginners who are starting with cybersecurity.

I have been using HTB for 5+ years and has been an amazing journey that helped me expand my CyberSecurity knowldege.

HTB is a FREE platform that allows ANYONE to get acquaintance of Cyber Security world up to expert level.

The ranking system makes it hard to level up.

Large number of modules, continuous development of both academy and labs. Relevant learning tracks and skills that are actionable almost immediately.

Some navigation between labs / assignment of labs or training material can be time consuming.

Hack The Box subscription lab provides a good entry level for getting started in security by hosting easy machines with thorough walkthrough which are a great entry point.

Unfortunatly, the boxes I would advice to a beginner are all behind a subscription (which I consider worth the cost) and the freely available easy machines have greatly increased the difficulty compared to the old easy that have been retired. I do still consider the freely available boxes as "easy" but they are not as beginner friendly as the older ones.

Great, the academy is great and you get lost in there with the options of training.

It is awesome platform which boosts one's learning curve by 10 fold. It contains many machines and challenges on varied topics like binary,web,cryptography etc.. I use their platform everyday and im addicted to learn lot of things from this platform. Since they have enterprise version my organization had subscribed, so i spend time at office when I'm free, They have integrated enterprise and public platform in such a way one doesnot loose their progress, which is very good for tracking user milestones etc.. HTB community is all about dedication. It is good to learn from the people aiding in sharing content and knowlege. Their web apps are so well designed for user experience without compromising on content. Spending time here will likely boost our career options, since the profile ranks and points shows an individual's time spent on the platform which is proportional to the user's skillset. I really like their weekly machines and challenges for which ranks are acheived creating a compitition among users. Their customer support are very prompt in solving technical/non technical issues.

They guided mode to aid beginners to solve challenges but it needs to be improved. Learning curve is steep compromising on the content. More academy related theoretical content mapping to practical labs needs to be developed to aid newbies.

Thanks to HackTheBox Academy I rediscovered my passion for hacking. Every module is wonderfully written. From my experience I could confidently say that HTB Academy is the first cybersecurity teaching platform that doesn't tell you the way to hacking, It shows you the way to hacking.

having experience with 3 other security training programs (ImmersiveLabs, INE, PentestAcademy) I could strongly say that HTB Academy has the most complete and easy-to-understand learning material.

Without being biased, I did not find something least satisfying about the platform.

Hack The Box Academy is an amazing but challenging place to learn. The labs included in the modules are awesome!

The labs are complex and allow you to apply what you have just learned in the theoretical part.

The duration of the Labs is for a limited time. Probably to save resources but sometimes when you are in the middle of a practice you run out of time and you have to launch the lab again.

Everyone at different skill levels can use it. If you're brand new to computers, you can learn from HTB Academy and improve your skills. pwnboxes in academy will let you experiment and implement what you've learned right on the spot. HTB has different ranks which you can use to show off to potential employers as well.

It gets difficult at times, and any small mistakes in the answers by the author can result in hours of wasted time trying to figure out the "solution"

I really appreciated the gamified approach, maintaining the experience graceful but at the same time useful for learning

At times, I've found that even with hints provided in guided mode, they aren't always as helpful as expected, particularly for very easy and easy machines. While I appreciate the necessity for challenges to enhance personal skills, there could be room for improvement in the clarity and usefulness of the hints. Perhaps implementing a rating system for hints could allow users, especially beginners, to highlight which hints they find most crucial for their learning experience

- Sometimes it's not user friendly. - Some deployed tools might not work as expected. - Even the easy boxes and medium to hard. - Tutorials are sometimes misguided.

The explanations as well as the small bits of help with the code really helped me figure out what to do as well as what I was doing wrong.

The price, but I am using the free version so I suppose it doesn't matter right now.
