Robust, secure and reliable VPN for remote work.
Thanks to the ease of implementation and use, Annyconnect was a key tool to keep our operation running normally in the middle of the covid-19 pandemic, with the difference that the activities would be performed from different locations, but with the same effectiveness and security as if we were in the office, with anyconnect the adaptation process was simple and short time for our entire team, also anyconnect to be compatible with any device favored even more to the implementation was fast and contingent, it really is very easy to use and navigate the user interface even more, to log in, just fill out the credentials (username and password) and you are ready to perform your daily work, since we use Anyconnect we are confident that all our information is safe, and thanks to its excellent performance has been possible to fully comply with all operational activities of our company.
PROSI like the ease with which it can be integrated and deployed, it is easy to configure and manage (it is designed so that anyone can use it). Anyconnect provides a secure environment to connect to our corporate network, it is compatible with many devices, it is surprising that a tool so easy to use is so powerful and efficient; Anyconnect works very well and its performance is exceptional, it also keeps our information protected (provides security against viruses, malware, unauthorized websites and other online threats among others).
CONSThere is nothing I dislike about Anyconnect so far, to be very honest it has really worked wonders for us and the benefits we have obtained while using it are countless, I have no negative comments to highlight.

Used as Remote Employee
Using Cisco AnyConnect allows me to work remotely and securely from any where. I am able to access files and shared drives easily and can trust that they are being transmitted securely.
PROSI use this software most regularly to connect to my organization's VPN. I work remotely full time and use the VPN to access shared drives, files, and portals. It is simple to connect and saves the VPN path so I do not have to type it each time. My favorite thing about this software is its ease of use.
CONSI do not find any of the elements of the software difficult to use.
Reasons for switching to Cisco AnyConnect
I did not make the decision but I think it was shared that the switch was made due to security and cost.

The telephone of my desk on my computer.
My overall experience with Cisco AnyConnect is that I used it a few times at work but today we have other resources like Teams for internal calls and meetings. When I need to make a call to the supplier, I use Whatsapp. Most of the time I use Any Connect to make international calls.
PROSI like the convenience of carring my phone when I'm working from home and I can make the same calls as my desk phone.
CONSI don't like the fact that I only use the internet to make calls on Cisco AnyConnect and sometimes have poor call quality.

Cisco AnyConnect review
Cisco Anyconnect is pretty easy to install on OS image and push through manage engine(deployment software).
PROSCisco AnyConnect works pretty well with Cisco Firewall/VPN . It has a pretty trusty interface with easy client deployment and push updates. It also works on MacOS. That is a plus.
CONSCisco AnyConnect typically matches the firmware version of the firewall It forces IT to deploy a new client version when the FW firmware is updated.
Reason for choosing Cisco AnyConnect
We run a Cisco shop. AP, routers , switches and phones are Cisco.

Secure VPN connection
Cisco AnyConnect is the best VPN client out there. It is simple, safe and with a stable connection.
PROSThe connection to AnyConnect is simple, secure and stable. Unlike other VPNs, Cisco AnyConnect keeps the connection stable. In addition, it provides security for the company, through secure connection to the endpoints of the company's corporate network.
CONSIt is sometimes difficult to register the VPN client using the registration code received by email. This code only lasts a few seconds.

Good VPN if you have an ASA as your firewall
It solved a work from home issue that we weren't expecting,
PROSAuthentication with RADIUS makes it easy to integrate it with active directory. If you already have an ASA on your network border it is easy to setup and use.
CONSAdditional licenses are required for use on an ASA, and you have a limited number of simultanious VPN connections
Reason for choosing Cisco AnyConnect
We already had the infrastructure in place for that particular company, so the additional license was easy to deploy

A solid VPN client platform for technical and non-technical alike
Enterprise-class product for VPN access to maintain productivity and security from remote or insecure network locations.
PROS- Stable software that is polished and minimalist. - Vendor-supported software; If you have problems, Cisco offers enterprise-level technical support channels for enterprise application managers. - Apple/Windows support, with very similar feature and interface parity. Sometimes this is not the case for some cross-platform applications. - Provide integration for multi-factor authentication (Duo, RSA, etc.) - Flexible design to support multiple VPN profiles, should you need to manage multiple access profiles. - Client software updates are automatically deployed from VPN servers to client end-point installs, making it a very elegant solution for non-technical and technical users alike.
CONS- Successful and reliable VPN access is built upon a robust network and a VPN server configuration. Updates pushed to AnyConnect software provided by the company I work for have caused issues for users periodically. This is not necessarily the fault of Cisco AnyConnect, but rather, an issue with communication and coordination of changes between VPN support personnel and end-users. If VPN personnel make changes to the VPN server infrastructure that impacts end-users, its important to consider when and how to coordinate those changes so as to minimize the impact and frustration to end-users.

Awesome tool to stay connected with work !!
Overall the experience has been great and helpful. The best part is that is connects automatically which saves tremendous amount of time. In case you don't want to use it, simply press the disconnect button and it gets disabled. Very easy to use and with very simple guidelines anyone can use it.
PROSThis tool is most definitely a blessing where you can stay connected with your work even while at home or travelling. It fast and very secure. It has the VPN feature which uses a trusted internet connection to log into the work network. I have used this while travelling as well. It also has a system scan tool which checks if the system is compliant and allows access to the network accordingly. It is able to connect automatically once you log in to you computer as long as there is internet access. This software has been really help during urgent situations at workplace so one can help the team remotely as well.
CONSNot too much of a cons but something that can possibly be improved is that once in a while (once is every 3-4 months) when at the work network the application will try to connect as well. This problem is typically resolved by either turning on and off your internet and or restarting your computer.

Very useful for external computer use at home for work!
Really really pleased with this tool! A must have for everyone who needs to work remotely and not have to go into work to use the work computer as it allows you to get your work interface with the VPN. Definitely a must have! It is very easy to install and use. Highly highly recommend!
PROSI use this tool to allow me to work remotely at home, which has been very convenient, especially during the COVID pandemic/surge. With this tool, it basically mimics your computer as a work computer so you are able to do all your work assignments from home. There is an added security for logging on so no one else can accidentally load this on your computer. I HIGHLY recommend this tool as we use this a lot at Stanford. It allows me to finish my clinic notes at home by logging on remotely.
CONSSometimes, the software has to be updated in order for to log on, however, there is always an automatic update search that lets me know when I need to update. There is also an option to defer the update and still log on if you are in rush. So honestly, I cannot complain about this software.

Cisco AnyConnect - a secure and reliable VPN gateway
Overall extremely positive experience, Cisco AnyConnect does what it is supposed to do, it is a secure VPN gateway utilizing MFA and auto-reconnect and it is a must-have piece of software for anyone seeking to easily secure the access to their applications or sharepoint locations. The program is extremely quick when it comes to authentication and well optimized when it comes to system resource utilization.
PROSCisco Anyconnect provides swift and secure network access regardless of users location. Within our organization we utilize it mainly for external connections. Cisco AnyConnect was a life-saver during the pandemic period where majority of our company had to swiftly adjust to a new remote work-model. We found Cisco AnyConnect with it's lightweight design and user-friendly interface to be a perfect tool for the job. Embedded multi-factor authentication functionality and auto-connect features really make the VPN shine.
CONSI have been utilizing Cisco AnyConnect for over two years at this point, and I am yet to find any issues with the software.

Easy, easy, easy
I'm not a firewall expert, but even I can get AnyConnect setup on a Cisco ASA 5XXX series in about an hour. It's a pretty straightforward process with lots of guides available. Installing it on the client is even easier, and the best part is that it's only two or three mouse clicks to get connected, so it's very easy to teach to an end user. The connection is rock solid, I've never had issues with connectivity.
CONSLicensing anything with Cisco is confusing, and this is no exception. Even though I've done it several times, it still takes me more time than I'd care to admit to figure out the correct SKU for the software license I need. It's also annoying that many ASA's need to have a 512MB RAM stick installed before AnyConnect can be used. Configuring AnyConnect to use Radius is also pretty confusing for me, although this more a function of the ASA than AnyConnect.

Perfect for WFH
As a company, we use AnyConnect to be able to work from home using our own internet, so that we can still access the company website, which has been fantastic throughout the pandemic where we had to resort to working from home. AnyConnect is stable and reliable, and easy to use. It is also easy to install and configure for our users, taking just about 5 minutes to fully set up on someone's PC.
CONSOccasionally AnyConnect can think a user's internet connection is guest wifi and doesn't allow them to connect fully. You have to then disable captive portal detection for this to work. Weirdly only seemed to affect Virgin Media customers. Sometimes it also doesn't remember what connection you last used, and you have to re-type it out - this isn't a major issue as our connection name is simple.

CiscoAnyConnect for VPN
It's overall a good product and I have no complaints. I look at the bottom line: can I access the shared drives at work from home? It makes this possible.
PROSMy organization uses Cisco for our VPN services. They provide a very simple setup script which gives us all the setting we need. It works quickly to load, and is very reliable. I am a worker who like to do remote work when possible; having a VPN access is a lifesaver.
CONSMy biggest con of the software is that I would have no idea how to adjust settings if I needed to. I'm sure I could figure it out, but that aspect is not user friendly. It may be that our admins do not want to share that piece with general users. In an older version I could not get it to cooperate with my home printer. The latest versions have been flawless there.

Reliable workd horse
It works, it's stable, I trust it. Can make the backbone of IT, especially in these trying times.
PROSIt stays connected all of the time while I'm working remotely and just works, which is important for something critical like this. Over the years of my usage with my company and many versions, my experience has been quite smooth.
CONSWe use Okta as our SSO provider, which is integrated into Cisco Anyconnect, except I can't use my U2F security key because Cisco's integrated browser doesn't support at least webauthn. CPU usage could be better. I have a 400Mb connection at home and I can't break 120Mb/s on a speedtest without maxing my CPU when connected to VPN. The process pegs out. But when I disconnect, CPU usage during a speedtest is non-existent and I get my full speed.

Safe, Secure, and efficient VPN solution
Cisco Anyconnect helps us set up remote access to our company's and client's servers. As we work on virtual machines with no information saved on our laptops, in a way it would be impossible for us to work without anyconnect VPN solution. Having said that, the software experience has been bumpy at best and could definitely be improved upon.
PROSWith Work-From-Home becoming a necessity, Anyconnect helps us connect remotely with our organisation's servers with one click. It remembers the domain and the user name so that it doesn't have to be entered manually each time. Being in the knowledge industry where confidentiality of information is of prime importance, anyconnect keeps the connection safe and secure to help prevent any misuse
CONSThe thing i absolutely hate about anyconnect is that when the internet speed slows down even a little bit, the connection tends to disconnect and connect frequently with the notification window popping again and again constantly. It can be really bugging as it interrupts what you may be working (for eg. if you're typing something in word, you may have to manually click to activate the document again). Everytime the connection is interrupted, connection to outlook gets severed as well and you may need to manually close and open outlook all over again. One feature I think could be really helpful is the ability to save my login password so that I don't have to enter the details all over again everytime there is a disconnection.

VPN Apps are Notoriously Frustration, but Cisco AnyConnect is Fairly Good
AnyConnect is faster and less frustrating than other VPN or remote clients that I've used. Normally, latency, long delays, and repeated attempts to remotely complete a task are the norm, but I've had very little of that with AnyConnect. And, when I do encounter it, it's often the fault of my (often spotty) remote Internet connection. It's not reasonable to blame AnyConnect for bad, slow, or unreliable Internet. When my connection is decent, it doesn't let me down.
CONSI'm always concerned about information security when I'm using these kinds of clients. They're often done from insecure Wifi when traveling. I'd love to learn more about what Cisco has put in place to ensure that none of the information or work completed gets compromised.

Excellent solution if you're looking for a VPN
This software has made life a lot easier in this pandemic and I don't see another replacement for this product. This software is awesome and easy to use and integrate to your daily life. If you are looking to use it, don't hesitate!!
PROSMy organization uses cisco AnyConnect to let us remotely and securely access our work computers from home. It can easily connect and disconnect with a click of a button, and you can seamlessly integrate it with SSO. There is no drop in internet speeds whatsoever when connected using Cisco AnyConnect. Connect your laptop or PC to WiFi and login to Cisco AnyConnect using your organizations domain, do an SSO and boom you're connected. As easy as that.
CONSSometimes Cisco AnyConnect disconnects from my organization network. That only happens when I've been logged on to it for over 8hrs. But you can always connect back again. This happens to me once or twice a month.
