SurveyGizmo is a cloud-based survey solution for enterprises of all sizes. It’s suitable for industries such as market research, health care, compliance, marketing, nonprofit and education. Primary features include survey scripting, advanced logic, email campaigns, data import, reporting and distribution via mail, link and social media.

The solution enables companies to collect feedback, assess offerings and understand market needs via research. Other features include compliance management, data cleaning, quota application, conjoint analysis, crosstab analysis, open-text analysis and coding.

SurveyGizmo allows users to work on multiple surveys at the same time. It supports multiple languages and protects the data by using anti-hacking measures, firewall and security scans. It offers integration with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Google Analytics, Google Spreadsheets, Webhooks, Social Media, Zapier and more.

SurveyGizmo is available with a monthly subscription pricing option. Support is offered via phone, email, documentation, live chat and community forums.

    Awful.

    Pros

    Survey Gizmo started out as a reasonably priced and better alternative to Survey Monkey. They did this to ensure good reviews etc and get customers. They weren't particularly better- just a very average product that was easy to use.

    Cons

    They contacted me a month before my plan was due to expire and told me they were " retiring" the service they had offered me and to maintain the same services, I had to accept a 400% plus increase in price. Their customer service were clueless and obnoxious and they took an extra unauthorized payment from my credit card when I said in writing I was no longer interested in the subscription. I'm now having to deal with this as a fraudulent payment on my c/ card. What a waste of time and energy for a product that was so average to begin with.

    This survey platform offers a full feature set of survey tools, such as answer piping/logic plus a good set of analysis tools.

    Cons

    The new pricing structure that they put in place as of about a year ago or so has made it too expensive. Unless you are doing a high volume of studies, it just doesn't make sense to pay the monthly fees charged by SurveyGizmo.

    Whenever a survey is conducted, the results are shown graphically. This is more helpful as it gives a clearer picture. It was relatively good when I started using it and then suddenly there were few changes in the GUI and after that I never felt lit using like before. Support team doesn't know what is going on on their platform.

    Cons

    Whenever you update any feature that has been used in any of your forms, the updated feature is seen only when you apply them once again. If not, the older version remains as it is. The customer support team is very inefficient. It may take months to get any response on the queries put forward. Also, this software is very expensive. Though it shows a variety of features, similar applications also possess these features at a comparatively lower price. Such a high price is not really helpful for small business groups and startups.

    I have found Survey Gizmo to be the easiest survey software for new users to learn. With a quick 30 minute training session, I can get novice survey programmers up and running.

    Cons

    Survey Gizmo has experienced incredible growing pains over the past year and a half. Features have been removed mid-license, data has been lost, logic has gotten garbled, etc. As a long-time user of it, I can no longer recommend the product until the platform becomes more stable.

    Outstanding Customer Service

    I am only tasked with using SurveyGizmo 2 or so times per year so I forget some of their functionality. However, I was actually able to call them and speak with a "real" US-based person on the phone. I expected a lengthy wait time and they picked right up. They we able to walk me through how to do what I needed to do and emailed me a "cheat sheet" after the call in case I forgot the next time. Other companies could learn from Survey Gizmo's customer service!

    The ease of use and help when I needed help was outstanding!

    Cons

    Nothing really. I need to use it more often to become better familiar.

    They do offer a lot of unique features on the site and the interface is incredible (both of which I respect)

    Cons

    The pricing is ridiculous, the customer support hardly ever gets back in touch with you and when they do, they explain things that doesn't make any sense and has nothing to do with the current situation.

    We have all of our serveys in one place. Good completion ratio of surveys.

    Pros

    The surveys looks very good on each device. Easy to export results to excel. Easy to choose the fields to view in the results page.

    Cons

    The surves dashboard is not well designed. Soemtimes it is hard to locate a survey. Complicated to edit ans missing features.

    It is very easy to build a survey with logic and get up and running in little time. The reporting is very robust for a survey platform at this level. Customer support has been excellent.

    Cons

    Only complaint is the offline survey for mobile devices. It can be time consuming when you can only answer one question per page on a mobile device. However, this may be a limitation on a mobile device itself.

    I can create surveys in less than 15 minutes and get them ready to go quickly and integrated.

    Pros

    I'm sort of new to creating long surveys but this definitely makes it easy to do and it provides a lot of support to get you going.

    Cons

    Maybe the excel csv export option because it gives you a lot of unnecessary fields but overall it is awesome.

    I like the format of the surveys and they are easy to navigate. I think the variety of question types are nice as well as the ability to customize surveys.

    Was able learn about some of the functions of a survey provider and how they can be used to create quizzes and surveys in creative ways.

    Pros

    Some of their features at the time were only supported by them. This is changing very quickly. There are several other terrific providers in the marketplace who now support the features that were only available with SG.

    Cons

    I had to pay them dollar's over the last 5+ years to host 2 surveys with extremely light traffic just as a storage because they were not forthcoming about their downgrade and storage policies. The features I needed - advanced quizzes and calculations - were only available on their platform. I asked them several times my options for downgrading to a lower plan because I was not using the platform but I did not want to loose my data and the work I had done. Their answers were extremely vague knowing full well that they were getting a free ride on the $/month I was paying just for storing a few MB of data. In the meantime, they changed the pricing plans so that the original plan would now cost me $/month. My old plan went on a "legacy plan" where I could not use many of the features like questions libraries. I have now switched to a provider who supports everything that SG does, does it 10 times better than them - both style and function - and does it at half the price.

    the customer support and documentation are good. works well with Hebrew. have a big variety of question types.

    the interface is a little hard to understand. the mailing list not always work properly. the phone view can be tiresome

    SurveyGizmo provides a lot of enterprise features that are available for Qualtrics at a price that is competitive with Survey Money.

    Cons

    I don't find myself using SurveyGizmo very often anymore. More often I am selecting Qualtrics for large enterprise work, and Survey Monkey for web forms and smaller projects.

    This was very easy to use and set up for a grad school research study I was doing. Didn't take a lot of time to set up and it was easy to edit.

    Cons

    This software didn't have enough features and types of responses for my needs for my survey. I had some very specific ways I needed people to be able to answer questions and this software cut down on the features in order to make it more user friendly, which is always a tradeoff.

    I liked that you could customize the esthetics of the surveys and that you could make questions show or not show based on a previous question's answer.

    Cons

    Reporting was not robust enough for our needs. There was no super applicable way to aggregate data (again this was for our purposes - quality of new hire evaluations). I also thought the design templates offered were limited and I wished that they would have added new ones.

    It was very easy to learn, and when I hit a wall, their professional service team is always available.

    There is no option to store payment (credit card) , they will delete survey if any payment info is held.
