Managing my students.
Helpful system, mostly intuitive with the help desk on hand for questions. Love the automations. It would be helpful for a quicker turn around with questions and for it to integrate with other tools.
PROSThat I can receive enquiries, schedule my students, invoice them, and then set it up the invoice automatically and receive the payments as well.
CONSIt doesn't integrate with other platforms and tools such as Calendly, Zapier, Pencil Spaces.

Excellent tool
My experience at Tutorbird has been amazing so far.I left another tutoring management company for tutorbird. I AM SO HAPPY WITH TUTORBIRD. I felt like a huge load lifted off my shoulder. However there are many features in Ayotree that could serve tutorbird well but it was such a complicated tool and required a lot of administrative work.
PROSI really like how neat the tool is. Using it is not complicated. And it removes a lot of administrative work.
CONSThere are some functionalities that are missing that are very important to tutors. For example, the ability to add a link that they can click on to access an online material. Right now we have to add the link in a word document and upload the document. It's much work for us this way. And some other feature would be needed as well maybe like a forum per class where students can share notes and thoughts.

Ayotree was very complicated to use. Although I likes how we had more control over our customization then Tutorbird, the tool itself was hard to get around and took forever. The biggest issue for me was the billing system. In my opinion it is poorly built. There were a lot of issues like inability for the tool to make the math and count how many lessons to bill. There were workarounds but it was too hard and even explaining it is complicated. The billing was not customizable enough for all types of needs. Every month end I would spend 4 hours redoing or making invoices. All that changed with Tutorbird.

Ok but glitchy
It’s really handy to have the app run the money side of the business. Invoices & documents for tax purposes are easily generated.
PROSTB is helpful to run my sole operation but can be glitchy at times. It has improved over time though & there are updates regularly.
CONSThe glitchyness was pretty frustrating at first but it is improving. I’ve always used Tutorbird so it wasn’t enough for me to check out other options.

My business would not run the way it does without TutorBird
My business is as automated as it is because of Tutorbird. I spend 10% of the time on administrative tasks as I would if I had to do them all manually every month.
PROSTutorbird is worth its weight in gold. Everything is integrated into one central place so tutors and families can access schedules, billing, lesson reminders, and resources. The time that it saves is invaluable and the customer service is top tier.
CONSThere are some billing features that I am still learning, but I'm slowly getting the hang of it and the customer support team has been very helpful.
