I liked that the software was free, and got exactly what I paid for,  minus most of my Saturday morning.

The biggest issue I experienced was that it didn't work with 4k MTS files. This was after splicing and cutting videos I had into one file.

The best thing about this software is the price tag, it's FREE. It's extremely powerful and I would happily pay for a product of this quality.

Furthering my annoyance, was the fact that ALL software on my computer defaulted to System Sound upon opening Lightworks.

One of the best coincidences of my life, a comfortable and friendly software.

Lightworks was a terrific entry point into Non-Linear Editing solutions for film. I found the workflow and interface intuitive.

IS to me a lifesaver and is the first  video editing software I used to edit my videos and I could tell you that it does a Nice job.

Generally easy to use when it came to importing clips and rendering quickly making it a good choice for smaller video editing tasks, especially if you dont have time for a steep learning curve.

I love that Lightworks is free, and I found the workflow appealing and fairly intuitive, especially compared to many other free video-editing software solutions.

I like how this app is easy to use-I only took me 5 minutes to know where everything is and what they do with out any help.

You can make up a great video using this tool as it has hundreds of various video effects. Also, it's very good organized and functional.

I was annoyed by the difficulty in adding text, color-editing and other effects, and was most annoyed by the resolution restriction on file exports.

Perhaps for new users, there will not be much transition pain, but for seasoned editors, it may be a bother.

Editing with Lightworks is really easy especially different windows for preview and the main editing is super helpful.

It allows me to make a creative video with many effects.

It has lots of features, from the most basic crops to highly advanced customizations.

I am a big fan of beginner-friendly creative tools. Lightworks allows me to make short advertisement videos for my freelance business, even though I have no formal education in video edition.

But who the hell wants to toggle between audio devices, let alone rearrange speaker cables in an audio rack,  just to open a piece of software.

It's hard to come up with something bad to say.

The menu was difficult to find at first when it came to wanting to finish my project and upload it.

Sometimes it becomes somewhat unstable. Sometimes it has frozen and I had to finish homework.

It's a shame there isn't a little more customisation of fonts, text positions, transitions, etc.

Okay, I have just started, so maybe after a while my view will change; however, for now this product is practically useless for me.

It has a great variety of characters and content, easy to use and fun to make and watch.

To be honest, I found Renderforest when I needed a fast and free video editor in online and just WOW.

I don't think there is anything we dislike about RenderForest.

I love the fact that everything is on-line and I do not need to install any software, the interface is really friendly user and each option is really simple and intuitive to understand.

I made my youtube Intro  with them and it came out really nice and in HD. Definitely the best video making software out there.

Renderforest is beginner-friendly, so even if you have no design expertise, you can rapidly learn the basics and create stunning designs.

The guide tour  (voice bubbles) was unclear, confusing and inadequate. At the end, there was a note that a tutorial would explain more for those of us who didn't understand.

If you want more elaborate videos you may want to look elsewhere, but the for what you get with the pricing Renderforest is a great asset to our organization.
