As the creator and architect of ConveYour.com, I wanted a video platform that I could tightly integrate with groups SMS messaging system. Other platforms seemed too distracted on trying to be a consumer product vs a platform for businesses. Sprout's simple API, great video player with great javascript support, great video playback performance, and strong security options is why we went all in with them.

I would like for them to support the tus.io upload protocol to make big video uploads on mobile devices much more dependable. Also, if they could do watch-once to encode functionality for faster viewing of a video after upload or even a guaranteed thumbnail instantly after upload, that would really help us.

Great from start to finish, great customer service, great pricing structures and loads of options to make t feel like your own in-house solution.

I didn't feel it offered anything that similar, more popular tools do. Although I did not encounter any issues I found it easier to utilize a program that others are more familiar with.

Sprout Video is exactly what I needed for my small business. I host a tiktok but wanted a second site where I can upload videos for my Patreon-subscribers in advance. I was looking for a video-hosting site that was inexpensive and easy to use. Uploads are quick and easy, editing video permissions is easy, and sharing videos is super easy too. The password feature is great.

No complaints. The site is everything I needed and more.

It's been great. I used it a few years ago for a non profit that I was Exec. Dir. of. It worked great then and still works great.

Other video hosting sources tell you that user data is not available. Sprout makes it available at a reasonable cost. It is important for my training to be able to provide who watched a video and for what length of time.

Seems like sometimes the options that are selected do not work on the first try. I have to reselect them and save them again. No big deal though.

Overall Ok we are not a huge user yet. The rest of this review is to meet the minimum character requirement.

I needed an ability to block video downloads and this was the key feature that first attracted me to SproutVideo. I gave it a trial and was super impressed. It was very intuitive and easy to use right from the start, and the follow-up and support have been fantastic, although we didn't need much. The price is very competitive and the flexibility is great compared to lesser programs.

Great, they respect my rights, and I don't have to worry about a woke mob forcing me to suddenly download and relocate all of my video files simply because they are owned by WEF/WHO/NWO edicts.

Ease of implementation. Having been kicked off of Vimeo for daring to use my God given rights of freedom of speech, and having been a customer of theirs for over a decade I was suddenly removed. SproutVideo has never dared censor me for having opinions opposed to the mainstream.

Interface could use a little aesthetic contrast. Looks good but would be nice to have a light/dark mode to help with viewing the tools.

Easy to use. Great alternative to the other, bigger platforms out there.

There is no learning curve for using the basic features of this platform

The features and analytics capabilities changed for our subscription after the fact, we would have liked to have an option to be aware of a mandated downgrade when deciding on which platform to use

Super easy delivery of videos to our clients. We upload the video. We email gate it so we know the client has viewed the video. The analytics tell us which parts of the video the client has watched more than one time. We can check the download analytics to see if the client downloaded it. Great software!

We create hand drawn videos for the safety, training and educational sector, worldwide. We use SproutVideo so clients can review their draft video and then download the final video. Super easy, super fast. But best of all is SproutVideo's customer service, it's #1!

Previously you couldn't group videos in folders, only with tags. We submitted a feature request, not sure who else did, and last year SproutVideo released folders! So I have to say this software is the best!

We are a state agency that uses this software to house and monitor views of recorded legal trainings for replay. Whenever I have had questions or concerns about our account, we have received a prompt response from the company and our issues are always quickly resolved. They are also very helpful in answering questions.

It is very easy to track and monitor views of each video. The analytics provided are very helpful and include information such as viewer engagement, location of views, device types, domains used, etc. I also really like that you can set up profiles for viewers and give them limited access to certain videos. You can even control if they are able to download the video.

The only draw back is the 10 GB max file size for video uploads. We have a few videos that run upwards of 6 hours long. I just break them into 2 videos (part I and II) to get around the max file size so it's not a huge deal.

Excellent. We use Sprout to post educational videos as a source "refresher" for student who enroll in our online training or attend in-person classes.

It's very simple to interact with and accessible to viewers.

No problems at all. Love them as a host for our educational videos.

1. High speed upload especially when there is something in upload and you tried again with same file, it resume from percentage that ended up with before the problem occurring. 2. Controls for access view and manage access for your students is extremely helpful. 3. You can let students access to videos from a website of sproutvideo with your company logo.

It is not cons but it is a suggestion from me as a long time user, I would prefer that you make videos more secured from screen capture programs, also I would suggest that you made a section for upload materials like pdf or quizzes with more secured from copy

We use Sprout for a variety of internal and external video sharing needs. We use other services that provide some of the features Sprout offers, but none combine all of them in one package. Perhaps the most valuable features are those around playlist creation and customization.

My one complaint about Sprout is that sometimes playback caching is slow, causing the player to pause during playback.

Terrific platform. Easy to use and fast processing and playback. Amount of features and customization for the price is outstanding.

I run a video production business. This eliminated the ridiculous scrutiny/ads/social aspect of YouTube/Vimeo and gave our clients a professional way to present their videos. The videos are easily shareable, easy to play on any platform (unlike Vimeo), and look great too.

Sprout is the perfect balance of video hosting, statistics, and presentation. It presents a value for not only your own biz but also your clients.

The one critique is I wish each video could have their own ‘website’ instead of the same for every. This would allow me to switch the logo from mine to a clients when appropriate.

This software has a lot of features, it is stable, very fast video uploading, a lot of privacy options.

I'm fully satisfied. However, It will be useful a subtitle feature.

I now control my videos online instead of YouTube

I publish video content to teach couples about intimacy. Youtube was constantly banning my videos and never telling my why. Thanks Sprout for being reasonable and open minded.

There's a lot of great things here with Sprout Video. I needed a site where I could store multiple videos and share with a select group of people that varies on a weekly basis. The problem I ran into with other services was that I couldn't control access and limit things like number of views, sharing the link and downloads. Sprout Video on the other hand fully captures my business needs and allows me to maximize our brand with complete control over our content. The analytics behind every view is second to none as well!

A bit of a higher price tag comes with the subscription, but so far definitely seems to be worth it.
