Google Alerts is a content change detection and notification service, which sends email alerts to subscribers when the system finds specific search results or mentions of terms across web pages, blogs, newspaper articles, topics and more. The system automatically monitors the content posted across multiple sources and send notifications based on users’ interests. Google Alerts allows subscribers to configure the frequency of notifications as daily, weekly or monthly.
