My overall experience working with AWS Step Function has been awesome.I began using this just on a trial basis but have grown to like it.I also like the fact that this software is really userfriendly and the lay out is so pleasant to use.

It has a lot of features, and is a convenient way to begin designing and brainstorming a new procecss.It also helps to automate a lot of functionalities.

As of now I don't think there is anything that I dislike.

Amazon step functions are more helpful for building and orchestrating the server less workflows & coordinating distributed applications

It helps to create complex workflows using a drag-and-drop approach and it makes easier to understand and manage the applications.It integrates with various AWS Services and helps in incorporates various functions & services to workflowThe tracking of workflow, Monitoring the execution is easier with AWS Step function

There is difficulty in using AWS Step functions in Private & Hybrid cloudCustomization is limited for execution environment

Majorly the software maintains the state of the application and hence tracking exactly in workflow becomes easy. It also has build in error handling which handles exception and errors.

We want support of python scripts in Step functions as currently it only support JSON.

We use a lot of Amazon AWS products, Step Functions helps us to deliver our distributed applications and automate several processes and accomplish a lot in less time.

I am really satisfied with the AWS Step Functions. It really helps us a lot to automate our processes which helped us a lot of time.

It has a very easy-to-use drag-and-drop functionality which saves a lot of time and energy. One thing I really like is that with step functions AWS services are already integrated, which is really a great thing for me. Even It was not very hard to configure AWS Step Functions.

In my experience, there is not much negative about the AWS Step Functions but one area where they can improve is their UI, if they make their process a little easier, it will be really good.

Helps to create a complex workflows easily with lesser overhead and we can track it.Best for making automate the process easily.It is integrated with other software.It is easy to use as there is drag and drop option available.

Cost is high.It is lagging sometimes,need update.

There are plenty of functions to manage operational flows. They really helped me automating the work which is really time-saving.

It was really easy to configure Step Functions. It has made workflow trackable. I really like their JSON/YAML automatic generation.

One area where I am not much satisfied is their cost. If they manage to decrease the price a little bit, it will be really helpful.

I love the automatization of microservice AWS Lambda

I think that the platform is just easy to use

It seems to be a tool that allows a scalable solution for managing microservices and processes. It has space to improve but is a good tool to design your workflow on, automate processes and save precious time managing all of it.

AWS Step Functions is a good tool for microservice automation, it allows arranging simple an complex application components in a logical, step-by-step order, simplifying most management and maintenance tasks. The drag and drop interface makes it easier and sort of intuitive for the less technical developer to use.

Even if the drag and drop interface makes it easier to deploy, the documentation could be more detailed with more pratical examples. The pricing model could also be improved.

My overall experience working with AWS Step Function is really amazing. The all features of this software is working so nicely and it's also easy to understand.

According to me, AWS service integration is the best feature of the AWS Step Function that I really like. In this feature, there are various computing services included like messaging services, database services, and many more. It makes work easy to manage.

There is a payload size limit that AWS does not highlight enough, which led us to have to change an already developed solution

Tutorial forniti da AWS veramente ben fatti, ottimo strumento per implementazione workflow, lo abbiamo usato per diversi progetti e trovo che sia uno strumento più che completo a livello funzionale, permette di modellare praticamente tutti i tipi di workflow, molto apprezzato e utile l'editor grafico

Non è uno strumento semplicissimo da usare, il consiglio è quello di studiarsi prima tutte le funzionalità e fare qualche tutorial per capire al meglio come sfruttarlo perché altrimenti si rischia di farne un uso improprio
