  • Pros

  • I like the ease of this program. Training is extremely simple for a program like this and document retrieval is super fast.
  • Product documentation storage works well along with the revision functions. Support for software is on point with a very friendly support staff.
  • Cons

  • Wait is too long for iDatix customer support, bad for keeping day to day business afloat.
  • The software should be made to recognize duplicate entries. It does not prevent duplicate entries which wastes time once the error is found.

  • The application is pretty quick and the administrators are able to bring about changes quickly aswell. We create FAQs and SOPs and add it to OTRS which makes it a great internal Knowledge Base.
  • OTRS is a great Open Source ticketing tool. I am really glad it's designed that way, I do not have to pay extra for options that I do not want.
  • Cons

  • There have been minor (cosmetic) bugs here and there, every now and then, which are slightly annoying.
  • Data encryption is not working correctly, same is tested by installing this module. Seems this error must have fixed by app development team.
