It's a Lifesaver and a Game Changer
It's a user friendly and easily accessible tool. We've automated a dozen processes or intake solutions we had previously leaned on email and other less visible and non-reportable paths. Saved thousands of hours of chasing and low-value-added work over the years. Also the best support structure of any tool we use - we point to other vendors and say "be like TAP".
CONSTAP can do SO much that it takes time to build up that skill, and they continue to innovate so you have some reliance on their support for a time.

You're losing time & money if you aren't using this tool
I can't say enough wonderful things about TAP as a solution and ThinkSmart as a company. It allows us to automate incredibly manual processes, reduce email traffic, have an audit trail, and reduce the amount of time we need to spend training people on a particular process. We are now confident that processes are followed consistently and properly because TAP is guiding the individual through the process each step of the way. The best part - you can configure each workflow yourself! You don't need IT involvement, you don't need to know how to code, you just need to know your process and you're ready to go. As for the company ThinkSmart, they are the most wonderful group of people I've worked with. They truly care about your success, are incredibly intelligent and provide wonderful advice on how best to redesign your process, and are with you every step of the way.
PROSIt's incredibly powerful but easy to use at the same time. You don't need much training to get started on configuring a workflow but, at the same time, the tool has so much power that you are constantly learning new tips & tricks to make your process better. I love the UI - you simply drag and drop boxes onto a screen to configure the workflow steps and then drag fields onto the screen to tell the system what information you need to capture. I also love that, for someone that needs to initiate a workflow, you can give them a direct link to that particular workflow and they don't need to navigate through a system to find the right link. Lastly, it easily integrates with e-signature tools which allows you to take your process to a whole new level.
CONSI honestly can't think of something I don't like about the software.

We can build the workflow without coding and easy to deploy
CONSUnable to reassign the request to Anonymous users. Real-Time TAT report is not available. Changes to the workflow are not impacting the inflight requests. Super admin is not able to edit all the fields.

User Friendly
I appreciate the user-friendly nature of this tool, making it easy and straightforward to use. Additionally, the speed at which workflows can be developed surpasses that of numerous other workflow management tools. Learning to use the tool is a quick process, enabling users to start working with it in no time.
CONSCreating intricate workflows with complex logic in TAP proves challenging for me, as the conditional logics are constructed using formulas, demanding additional effort in both code composition and maintenance. The deployment process is carried out manually, and implementing a feasible rollback feature for specific changes is not currently viable.

Overall experience with TAP is a positive one, our account rep and the consultant who helps us when we are configuring the tool have been really great to work with.
PROSI like that it is a no-code system where you can learn to create workflows without having a person who need to code for you. It is self service and there are experienced consultants to help.
CONSOne feature that TAP lacks is the ability to relaunch external requests when a vendor contact leaves and we need to have another person on the vendor side complete the required questionnaires. This is a huge part of the functionality we are look for TAP to be able to change and automate.

It is changing the way we approach streamlining complex, distributed processes. We love it.
PROSThe ThinkSmart Automation Platform (TAP) enables subject matter experts to redesign and streamline workflows for maximum efficiency and consistency. The forms designer is easy to use and chock full of feature options. The workflow designer allows a business analyst or other professional to design and build the workflow at the same time with a super simple drag-and-drop interface. None of this requires coding or programming experience. In our experience, the best ideas come from the front line people who are actually doing the work, and TAP allows us to quickly design, share, revise and launch workflows in a collaborative manner that empowers those people to focus on possibilities rather than limitations. The TAP platform is the best technology investment we have made in years and we feel like we are just getting started.

Easy to Use, Quick functionality for thousands of Contracts
We've had a really good experience with ThinkSmart and automating our CDA and other workflows. It was easy to set-up as a quick move from another platform.
PROSEasy to set-up workflows and build in routes for approvals and signatures.
CONSThe unknown cause of some issues that get fixed, but we don't know if they'll happen again.

We were already using it for another workflow in a department and decided to try it with only a couple months to build and implement.

Our contract was ending with another vendor and we were needing a workflow solution to move to quickly.

Easy to configure and stood up our first workflow in one week. No programming!
1) Further roll-out e-signatures. 2) Able to create self-service legal documents which allows Legal to focus more on high value transactions instead of NDAs and the like. 3) Reduce turn-around time on change requests and bug fixes because we are not dependent on 3rd party developers or IT.
PROSI have two: 1) Flexible - TAP can be configured to automate virtually any process. 2) TS team starting with Paul Hirner. Great partner.
CONSSelf-help guide for admins needs to be more robust and searchable. An example is using formula fields...I had to email TS team 3x in order to figure out how to use it properly.

Flexible Workflow Builder
-TAP's flexibility in workflow designer to customize to our specific needs. -The out of the box integrations that make it easy to connect with e-signature tools and others without IT support. -Ease of updating post-go live when business processes change.
CONS-Some learning curve on the back end of the tool, but once you spend some time with it you understand.

PROSThe visualisation of workflow design makes it so easy to create automated business processes quickly.
CONSLawyers require very specific document automation functionality and the document automation whilst fantastic can be a little bit unwieldy when creating legal documents (with clause sub-numbering, cross referencing etc).

Highly intuitive and configurable.
The software is very intuitive for users, and easy to configure on the backend.
PROSTAP is very configurable, and the support team is very responsive to requests for additional functionality.

Excellent product for building and managing processes
ThinkSmart's Transaction Automation Platform is an incredibly easy to use product that allows users to build both simple and complex workflows. The tool is very sophisticated in how all pieces, such as data sources, form fields, metrics, and e-signature, work together. The real power in the product is the ability to create a form/workflow iteratively until a final version is reached. The Customer Success team is amazing, suggesting industry best practices during initial setup, providing top-notch training after setup completed, and supplying excellent support after go-live.

Awesome product ! The product itself is easy to learn and actually fun to work with. The product allows users to include powerful features, such as email approvals, conditional logic by stage, esignature functionality, prepopulation and data source mapping. And best of all, Thinksmart provides outstanding customer support and training.
