It has massively reduced my admin time and made things like VAT a doddle.

Accounts portal just works, you don't need expensive training, just a good general understanding of accounting practice. The complete opposite of a system (S***) that made my life a misery in teh past.

I haven't really got into automatic reconciliation of statements or producing my invoices through AccountsPortal. Some simple walk through videos to introduce them to me would be useful.

I've used this for three organisations for several years and have recommended it to others, very good value for money and straightforward to use.

Easy to set up, easy to find way around, trouble free, covers everything needed for doing whole accounts for small businesses.

Can't say there's anything I don't like about it for what it does, but for larger organisations it misses some functionality provided by more expensive packages (being able to upload pdf invoices and populate from pdf invoices, completely live bank feeds for example)

Ease of use, updates are great too. As I run two businesses I found the ability to add another business very useful.

Quite often get an annoying error message saying error, when logging in but try again & you are in.

We needed an online solution so multiple people could enter orders and use the software. Accounts Portal is simple enough so that an "Accounting Dummy" like me can use it, and complete enough so that our Accountant can do his job. Did I mention that in addition to it being the best for our purposes, it is also the least expensive. I wouldn't hesitate to pay twice as much for it.

We spent 3 years searching for bookkeeping software that would suit our needs. Everything else came up short, and many of them were too expensive to justify for our needs. Then we found Accounts Portal in 2014 and haven't looked back. It fulfills all of our needs and more. Any of us can sign on and enter a new order or look up bank balances or anything else we need to do. There is something else even better than the software: The service. On the rare occasions I need help (maybe once a year) I get the answers and help that I need quickly, in ways that are easy for a non-accountant to understand and implement.

Central United States is 6 hours away from the UK, so tomorrow comes earlier, so when we get an order in the evening I have to remember to set the date back one day.

Easy enough to set up, customise and use for day to day needs. Customer support has always been excellent when needed

There are a few little niggles that would make life so much easier when manually entering expenses such as if it stored the correct category for the expense from previous entries. Remembering that payments to specific people are for salaries for example. Minor but time consuming

I've been using AccountsPortal for over 5 years now and I have been very happy with the features it offers. I especially like been able to manage all our accounting needs in one place and with it been online it means I am able to access it anywhere I can get internet which is very important for out company.

I do wish there was support for multiple currencies bit aside from that I have no complaints about the software.

One thing to mention is that should we ever encounter any queries or difficulties AccountsPortal assist and resolve things very quickly and professionally. We couldn't be happier.

We're big fans of AccountsPortal. Previously we used a bespoke system for generating our invoices which frequently needed updates and tweaks. Since switching to AccountsPortal (around 9 or 10 years ago) our regular and adhoc invoicing has been a breeze. We use it to send out statements and quotes too. In short, everyone's really happy.

There's nothing that we don't like about the product.

I does an excellent job of keeping the books (or helping me to), Accounts Portal are excellent at responding if I do have a query and its easy , particularly an engineer, to use.

Overall, it's easy to use, my accountant likes it, the system stores product in both sales and purcheses

My accountant isn't able to read everything but not write to it. I don't want to allow him to access the sales and purchase so that it's kept just in my domain (I hope that makes sense)

Been using it for longer than I can remember and makes the chore of the admin side of running a business significantly simpler. It keeps things simple and maybe for large businesses it is a different story but for small to medium sized companies it is perfect.

The system is so so simple to use and performs all the minimum requirements for us. The invoices section is great to create one off as well as repeat invoices, and the reporting provides us with the tools to identify those who have not settled. The digital VAT functionality is superb with easy use of the software to submit VAT to the HMRC.

Needs an overhaul - I have seen no changes in the last few years and the pages look a bit dated. I know it may be off topic but if it also had a payroll section this would be a one stop shop!

Mainly used just for invoicing & VAT purposes but feel that there is so much more I could do with it!

We are very happy and it's value for money, it's simplicity is more valuable to use even for inexperience user.

It is very simple to use and have very customisable features , Great to use for invoicing and billing, which we are using from last more than two years. Would recommend for small business to go for it for their accounting purpose.

Not really having sales and marking tools

Great software, very rarely encounter any issues. Excellent customer support always able to advise and guide me through new things that I haven;t done before.

Easy to use, logical interface. Easy production of reports such as P&L

I'd like a direct link with Shopify and Woocommerce

The ability to customise templates for invoicing is excellent. Being able to import bank statements makes reconciliation a breeze.

My business default payment terms are 7 days net. Whilst I can state these terms on the invoices, I cannot customise the pay period breakdowns on the statement to reflect these terms.

We were using old software for creating invoices and sending them manually with an email application We were also using separate software for our accounts and VAT returns. We have combined all of these into one system with AccountsPortal.

The ability to create and send invoices, especially recurring invoices, was really important to us and AccountsPortal makes this quick and simple.

The main thing missing is a mobile friendly version of the website.

I have used this since I first set up my business and have always found it quick and easy to use. Ideal for my annual accounting needs.
