Really a great solution that has allowed us to level up our QB-based reporting. I am still astonished by its affordability.

The use case (for us) was very QB specific, but we were not able to resolve this with any other tool without a bunch of custom modeling. Acterys offers an incredibly easy and affordable solution.

No endpoint for refreshing datasets (that I'm aware of); also, PKs seem to be regenerated with each refresh, which can be a pain.

Incredible performance backed by best in the business technology like MS Azure SQL Server. There is a great set of features built into this product. The ability to add additional cubes and right back functionality is fantastic. Its easy to implement and to built beautiful reports in a day. Complicated DAX measures...it all done for you. Very impressed.

There is really a lot of features and it can be overwhelming if you do not know where to start. Once you learn to navigate the wiki page, it really does get a lot less overwhelming.

Writeback functionality from Power Bi is amazing. We have one source of the truth and no more excel workbooks with links all over the place. No version difference. Easy to integrate and use once over the learning curve.

My only negative, and i understand now that its a feature of the product. Its not intended to be a replacement of an ERP system or database, so is limited once the cube becomes too large.

Integration between ease to use tools like Excel and Power BI, so the user can use common financial tools and create stunning reports for Planning, Financial and Budgeting and control daily basis operation, with a great write back to a consistent model as a backend system. The integration with Financial systems like ABC, QuickBooks Online, and Xerox is a good tool.

Some financial basic knowledge that the user need as a pre requisite. In that case the user can ask for training, webinars or support.

The setup is easy and integration with the Accounting system is seamless.

The billing part is somehow disappointing as you cannot use a credit card to purchase on the site.

I like the idea of the app itself, not only to use Power BI as a reporting system, but also to enter the data needed for further use. In one place to both see a sales report and to plan future sales. It is possible to install the system both or to use as a SAAS solution. Hybrid solutions are also possible.

In our particular case, implementing the solution required serious customisation, including tons of SQL code. But the Acterys specialists handled it successfully.
