Very good, I would highly recommend it to any smaller organization

It's become increasingly robust, and I appreciate that Moss is keeping up with the features of much bigger players.

CONS

My only complaint is that newer features are in more expensive plans, however, that's not a huge issue for us as those features are nice to have but not mandatory.

Moss is perfect to keep everything under budget

Very positive.

PROS

All digital, can create virtual cards for specific purposes. No need to share cards around with the team. Email captures and auto-matches PDF invoices.

CONS

Only that some PDFs don't get auto-attached but also not always Moss' fault, depends on how the email is formatted.

Reasons for switching to Moss

DATEV integration was better, and invoice matching was also better.

Good product with great supporting system

PROS

Thanks to Moss now we have all of our invoices and credit card transactions in one place. Both the App and the web-version has an intuitive interface and the robust approval policies ensure that nothing goes unnoticed when it comes to expense management.

CONS

Especially in the early days we had various bugs and technical difficulties but Moss always provided us with the right level of support and quick solutions whenever help was needed.

PROS

I like toe integration with DATEV, we can automatically send receipts to our accountant. Card allocations for team members and certain services make it much easier to track and manage expenditure.

CONS

It would be nice to link Moss to my bank, to be able to pay invoices through Moss more easily instead of having to pay separately and in our bank.

Intuitive credit card and expense management

I only need to add my receipts from time to time, but with Moss this is very easy to do. If I compare this to the way it was before it has saved me a lot of time.

Das Tracking und die Zuordnung der Ausgaben, automatische Belegzuordnung ist super. Insbesondere gefällt mir das intuitive User-Interface, was das arbeiten mit dem Tool auch für neue Mitarbeiter sehr unkompliziert macht.

CONS

Moss ist für uns leider noch nicht die Single Source of Truth der Ausgaben. Lastschriften können nicht abgedeckt werden und Rechnungen noch nicht direkt aus dem Moss Konto bezahlt werden. Diese Funktionen sind angekündigt und werden hoffentlich bald verfügbar.

Die Kombination macht die Suche (z.B. im Fall einer Reklamation eines Artikels) nach den Belegen schwieriger, bzw. teilweise nicht möglich

Amazing business card management

Moss is helping us solve controllable scalability in our organization. With multiple people owning different parts of our OPEX, we must be flexible and allow for autonomy with solid guidelines.

PROS

Moss is a great tool to quickly have individual subscription cards that allow you to control your spending, along it with your OPEX budgets, and make sure you are controlling your cost centers.

CONS

Nothing con. But I do have some improvements to share:* A better invoice recognition engine will go a long way. Multiple invoices are still forwarded to Moss but not processed or recognized.* Insights for team leads. A dashboard showing the team's spending, budget, and forecasts would also help a lot.

A solid service. Some errors ocasionely but not too bad. Very useful.

I like it. I like the diferencial access different types of users have, with permitions and access to uploads and so on. It is mostly intuitive. Not perfect but very nice.

PROS

The features I use are pretty easy to use. The auto-scanning of invoices/receips from emails is convenient. The option to handle all the accounting sceme in one place and export to the accounting app is very convenient.

CONS

Having all our expenses already represented in this service brings up the obviouse option to tag the expenses into criteria we would like (product/marketing/administration) and create reports cutting the expenses through these criteria, thus making it a better budget planning tool in addition to it being an accounting tool.

Erfahrung als Nutzer

PROS

Ich habe ein paar regelmäßige Kosten (LinkedIn Salesnavigator z.B.), die von der Firma übernommen werden. Moss schreibt mir dann eine Email und ich muss einfach nur auf die Email antworten und meinen LinkedIn-Beleg anhängen. Der Rest wird automatisch gemacht. Für Fahrtkosten auch sehr komfortabel. Nach einer Reise trage ich alle Kosten ein (geht super schnell) und ein oder zwei Tage später ist das Geld auf meinem Konto. Manchmal muss ich auch einmalige Kosten beantragen (irgendeine Software). Da funktioniert es genauso schnell und einfach. Eine Schulung oder sowas braucht man nicht. Im Prinzip ist das auch das wichtigste - nervigen Abrechnungskram will ich schnell und einfach erledigt haben. Und je schneller und einfach desto besser. Und Moss hat es hingekriegt, dass es halt echt sehr schnell und einfach geht. Von daher bin ich von dem Service überzeugt.

CONS

Auch Moss hat eine Zwei-Faktor-Authentifizierung. Das ist generell natürlich wichtig und richtig. Als Nutzer stört mich dieser Zwischernschritt allerdings bei meiner User-Experience. ¯\(°_o)/¯Dass ist aber überall so, wo ich mich mit einem Code authentifizieren muss, der per SMS verschickt wird.

Unkompliziert und schnell mit sinnvollen Erinnerungen

Als reiner "Nutzer" nimmt mir Moss einiges an Arbeit ab. Schnell und einfach, im Bestfall merke ich gar nicht viel davon, dass ich Moss nutze sondern alles was ich damit machen muss ist unkompliziert erledigt. Auch die automatisierten Erinnerungen an Belege etc. sind sehr sinnvoll für jemanden der sich nicht tagtäglich damit beschäftigt.

CONS

Anfangs war es teilweise etwas verwirrend, dass es keinen Button gab wenn ein Beleg hochgeladen wurde, aber auch keine auffällig Success-Message. Das ist aber Meckern auf hohem Niveau.
