The best payment gateway
Mostly great, like I said, the learning curve isn't the shortest, but as they have lots of options (that, after going through that learning curve you'll find they're needed in order to give your customers the best options and support) you'll be able to offer a great service for your clients, no need to get in trouble with clients because of the payment gateway.
PROSThey take privacy in a very serious way. And they know their product is used mostly by developers, so their site has plenty of support, examples forums and every kind of resource that makes it easier for developers to implement payments on any platform. Also, they have options to manage clients and subscriptions that can be billed for in a fixed period of time, give them free trials, etc. Their commissions aren't the cheapest, but I consider they aren't also very expensive. Another thing that we liked is that they keep developing their offer, like accepting payments via convenience stores (currently in beta while i'm writing this review)
CONSIt has a big learning curve. At first it's difficult to get familiar with all the concepts they use for their different parts of the process, I wasn't able to find a simple tutorial on their site (found some in external sites).
Reason for choosing Stripe Billing
Because the registration process was pretty straight forward. We're still considering openpay since it give the options to charge clients and differ they payment on several monthly payments, but it's hard to register a client and go live with them. With Stripe, they asked for lots of data about the user, but, as soon as they're provided, you're ready to go live.

Simply the Best Subscription Management
Stripe Billing was easy to use overall, simple enough to deploy, and has a wonderful support portal and team to solve any other issues you have!
PROSI used Stripe to manage Saas recurring billing with a few unique models, and it handled each of them after some integration work. It is a very product/business friendly tool that makes it easy to spin up new SKUs/products, discount dynamically, and analyze your sales. Stripe also integrates masterfully well with other reporting tools. I appreciated the work they put into automatically handling security and authentication as well, as it eased the burden on development.
CONSStripe can be hard to implement without at least some domain expertise on the team, and if your model is non-traditional. Doing things like highwater billing or multi-SKU billing on software utilization (seats vs. instances) can be a real challenge, and require coding on your side to roll up the right numbers. However, these are edge cases, and the core product works exactly as described.

Great Payment Feature
Stripe is easy to use and set-up in a variety of apps. I can easily intergrade Stripe on registration form or event.
CONSUnless you pay for a plan, customers can register but can bypass payment; leaving the accounting to follow up with individuals who did not have a Stripe account to collet another form of payment.

Stripe was most cost effective.
Reasons for switching to Stripe Billing
There were issues with PayPal and it was more expensive than Stripe. Plus, we use Wufoo form builder and Stripe is under their company.

Te easiest to use platform
It's the set-and-forget kind of thing, once you set it up the first time, you might as well leave it there and never get back to your dashboard.
PROSIt's extremely user friendly and you can get started in no time, it's unlikely you won't find the UI easy to use and intuitive if you have a little bit of experience. Besides, you can integrate it with just about ANYTHING and that's a huge plus because of the versatility it allows. I don't really use the invoice customisation, but I tested it and it's a breeze.
CONSMaybe there are not too many payments methods available. I also think that, if you don't have any experience with payment/billing/invoicing platform, the learning curve could be a bit steep.

Stripe review
Stripe Billing is an easy convenient way to invoice and track customers with or without having to create a subscription. Also, most of the fields are customizable which allows to add our company flare to it.
CONSSubscriptions are much harder to manage than they make it seem to be, also if an invoice needs to be amended the due date cannot be kept the same which is a hassle.

Fastest, easiest way to get set up on billing
I've had a great time with the product. It is incredibly convenient to work with through portal and API, and meets most of my business needs, though I wish I could manage some of my paper check payments with it, and that the subscription product wans't trying to upsell me constantly. That said, it's an easy recommendation.
PROS- incredibly fast to set your business up - API is very direct and flexible for subscriptions, billing, invoices, you name it - very easy to attach metadata and connect back to other platforms - online portal is quite useful
CONS- too many upsells on the subscription management service - poor at handling partial payments - cannot handle physical payments (check). lockbox feature has been in beta forever.

Stripe Review
Stripe is a fantastic online-only credit card processor with reasonable processing rates and little hidden fees. Businesses with developers that can create a custom online e-commerce experience would benefit from the free and straightforward API. Businesses with limited technological resources will be forced to pay extra for an e-commerce solution.
PROSStripe is very straight forward when it comes to making online payments. Stripe charges a flat fee for accepting online credit card payments. The company has excellent developer tools, predictable flat-rate pricing, advanced reporting tools, integrates properly with Xero accounting software. excellent marketplace tools, exceptional subscription tools, multi-currency support and its ideal for international merchants. Stripe offers secure transactions, easy to use reporting features and consistent service.
CONSIt’s UI could be improved. There isn't a clear breakdown of fees when it comes to volume discounts. There is no automatic tax assistance. This is the most important one for us. Stripe allows you to define tax rates for customers that need to process complex tax scenarios like collecting VAT or GST, but your software team must build out the infrastructure to support appropriate collection. In the future, I hope Stripe improves its built-in tax support.

Fantastic Product that DELIVERS!
We have been extremely happy with this product and highly recommend it to anyone new to doing this. Customer support has been very good.
PROSThis was our first time setting up a new business and we were completely clueless as to what we were doing. we scheduled a demo, held video conference call with company rep and she answered every single question and provided additional details we hadn't even considered. We have experienced ZERO problems with this product.
CONSAs it has been our first time using a product such as this, we have nothing to really compare it to. It is a little confusing how the "security holding account" was set up and were told after a certain period of time the percentage of withholding would drop but haven't seen it yet.

Stripe easy integration
We are running Stripe On-Site and Stripe billing in parallel. With Stripe on-site we have good conversion and complete control on recurring transactions we can charge the recurring and apply the discount on run time by running a simple cron whenever we want but with Stripe billing you loose that control and you have to modify the recurring from Stripe dashboard. However Stripe billing provides you better conversion.
PROSWe were using Stripe on-site which increased our conversion rate and had hold on recurring transactions but to compare the difference between on-site and Stripe Billing we integrated the Stripe billing and found that Stripe Billing increased our conversion than the previous Stripe on-site integration. Stripe billing provides built-in dunning management.
CONSYou loose the complete control of recurring transactions and have to use Stripe dashboard to update the recurring transactions.

Great for MRR
Overall i'm happy with Stipe Billign and will continue to use it
PROSWe use this mainly for our MRR clients where we can set it up for the customer and forget it. Nice to not have to bill a customer every month.
CONSI don't like that you cant pro-rate a month of service, this makes it difficult to keep billing dates consistent

Stripe for payments - it’s a great product
Excellent product.
PROSThis is a Very easy to use and user friendly. It keeps client information confidential. If it’s berry affordable and a fair price.
CONSIt would great if it were slightly quickly with depositing money into the business account. It typically takes 3 days or 4 if it’s over the weekend.

The best way to collect subscription fees!
I used stripe to handle a high volume of daily subscription charges and could not be happier with my experience!
PROSStripe is the most reliable subscription billing service in the game. If you have lots of subscriptions that you need charged / processed, then make sure to use stripe because they will make your processes simple, customized, and most importantly secure
CONSI do wish that, if and when a credit card does not process through because of human error entering info wrong, all the card would not disappear. This is likely a security measure, however would make the user experience better.

Stripe makes being a small business owner easy
Overall experience has been very positive.
PROSI love how easy Stripe is to use. Also, their Capital resource is phenomenal. They allowed me to grow my small. business by offering me multiple small loans with automatic repayments. Super easy to use. Customer service is also pretty good.
CONSThere is nothing that I have found that I dislike about Stripe and I have been using it for almost two years.

Stripe Quality
Overall experience with Stripe billing has been extremely positive.
PROSThe convenience of Stripe is the absolute best reason to use it. You can plug it in on a website. It eliminates the need to sign up for a swiper. We can send out links and people can pay online.
CONSThe only con with Stripe Billing is it slightly more expensive than other services. Apparently there is a word min for this box, but we seriously do not have any other cons for this product.

Did what I needed it to, but may be better for larger companies utilizing more reporting.
Overall, it was helpful for what I needed; recurring monthly billing.
PROSDecently easy to set up & use. I like that I can receive daily payouts vs lump sum weekly (though I believe you can set it up that way as well). It connected easily to the other platform I use for recurring monthly billing.
CONSThe dashboard can be a bit hard to navigate. I sometimes struggle to find the report/information I'm searching for & so I waste time. No ones ever a fan of fees, but I understand why they're there. However, it wasn't made abundantly clear what the fee percentage would be when I signed up & I had a hard time finding exactly what that percentage was, as it didn't show up on reports, It only shows the dollar amount deducted. I will admit that I don't have a large company or run many reports & so I usually am just looking at income & payouts.

Stripe Works Well for My Needs
It's so easy to bill my clients with Stripe. They enter their card info and with one click I can process their payment.
CONSStripe did not recognize me as a health care provider at first and it took some customer service back and forth before I was able to process payments with HSA cards.
