Overall it’s really great Softwares that completely compliments Final Cut Pro . I created many ad films using the software for various media houses like Zee , MSTV , Doordarshan etc

Motion is really very advanced tool that is used for VFX, character animation, compositing, Text animation etc . The best part of motion is optical frame regeneration technic which helps you to regenerate new frames rather than interpolation, when you restrict the video to longer duration

Camera tracking is really difficult to go with the software I hope they will work on it. Motion is now becoming end of the line product

Overall I would say go get Reclaim because seriously it can't be worse than Motion and since I've used motion they've released new features to make it better and easier.

I liked what I thought it did at the time.

I thought the bugs would get fixed and features developed. The things I hate the most about Motion is that it doesn't connect to Asana. When creating a project you can't connect projects to do one after the other. I hate that it doesn't assign things correctly unless you force it to. Right now, I use motion on my own at the office and I have been impressed with how much more in control of my schedule I feel. Setting work hours for scheduling creates boundaries and targets for me to meet each day so I am not working late into the night.

I like that it prioritizes my to-do list for me. Easily reshuffles tasks and events based on unexpected fire drills at work. Calendar syncing allows for awareness of what I have going on and what I should be working on to stay on top of things.

The UI for inputting tasks still feels clunky at times. There is no way to sort or reorder projects within a workspace, for example (although you can filter). I wish there was a better way to track progress on tasks other than just completing chunks of a task or manually changing the time to completion. Sometimes tasks take me longer than I anticipate, so being able to adapt to that schedule wise would be helpful.

It helped me reduce the number of pieces of software I am using for personal task management and project management and a calendar scheduling tool as it does all of it in one!

Love how easy it is to put tasks in my calendar and how it helps me plan my day. Keeps me more organized.

I look forward to the team building even more project management collaboration features as the project manager is still relatively new.

We've been using Microsoft ToDo and Microsoft Project for our project management for the longest time, however the "single view", "everything on one page" list of tasks has been an eye opener.

As someone who is Autistic and ADHD, having the ability to have all of my tasks in a single pane and having them automatically scheduled in my calendar based on priority and deadline has been fantastic.

We'd really like to be able to share Motion projects externally, even just read only, or at least have an export to PDF option. We are unable to share task lists with customers but we are currently investigating an option for this using the API.

Best management tool ever

-The AI Assistant that helps me set time blocks throughout my day to do my tasks-The different calendars to help me label appointments, meetings, and events-How easy yet thorough it is to establish tasks to be scheduled in.

-Doesn't sync with iCal, my primary calendar-Not sure what to do with bookings just yet-When you create a task for a project you can create subtasks, but they dont appear as tasks on the main weekly calendar, I'd like to see the sub-tasks.

It would be awesome to connect with others and collaborate on certain tasks, or send a live link to projects I work on where others are not yet Motion users. Other: It's costly, but worth it if you maintain your end of the bargain and update the dashboard often.

I've heard the benefits of time blocking your schedule many times, but never took the time to put into practice. This app makes it very easy to do so, and it has essentially kept me from having so many lists of things to do. The app keeps track of what needs to be done and schedules it accordingly. I wish I had found this years ago. In my job I am someone who often gets pulled away from the task at hand. This app makes it easy to regroup and prioritize what needs to be done and what can be put off until tomorrow. It also makes you take notice when you keep pushing off that annoying task that you dread or that is really hard and motivates you to just do it and get it done. It also prevents you from dilly dallying when you know you only have so much time set aside to get something done. Lastly, when it seems the the to-do list is just never ending, it makes things feel more manageable by helping you lay out what you will do one single day, making things seem more achievable.

Not too many negatives. Sometimes it is a little slow to readjust the schedule when you make changes, but it usually gets it done within about 10 - 25 seconds.

I liked how it merged my schedules, but there are other apps that do the same thing

The auto schedule feature is the best thing about Motion. It ensures that I’m not forgetting tasks around all of my meetings.

I’d like there to be a bulk upload feature for tasks. Sometimes it’s easier to create in a spreadsheet than reproduce the same tasks for various clients over and over again.

Motion allowed me to quickly add tasks and meetings with a convenient set of options. However, Apple Calendar can do a similar job for free and I reverted to my good old Apple Calendar.

I like how you can see your next tasks on the landing page. You can drag an item on the calendar, pretty much like Apple Calendar, which makes it very easy to create a new event. Just give it a name and you're good to go. You can go ahead and customize your task easily, choosing a priority and a deadline for it. A nice feature that Motion has is the ability to split your task into chunks, and give it a minimum chunk duration. When adding a flexible meeting, you can specify the type of meeting (Zoom, Google Meet, Phone number, Location), it is not unique to this app, but is a must-have feature for such app. All your tasks, past and current, are easily accessible via the Task menu. From there, it is easy to reorganize / reassign the tasks.

I found it slower on Safari than on Chrome. When adding two tasks or a task and a meeting together, there is no reaction from Motion when I would expect a warning that two items happen at the same time... Sometimes prioritized tasks is a bit confusing. I've had issue with some prioritized tasks didn't show up in my calendar, but showed up in 'My Tasks". It may have been a bug.

There is no doubt about it, Motion is an excellent application that will actually save you a considerable amount of time. Additionally, being told what to do (within set parameters) has really helped my efforts to get things done. Providing I note a task in Motion together with a due date, I can forget about it until it's time to work. The scheduling feature is also very well put together and I will use it for all external appointments.

I love the ability to quickly add a task, approximate duration and deadline within 10 seconds. I don't need to worry about clashing schedules or not having enough time during the day. I also really like the look of the application and found the introduction videos to be very helpful in navigating the app for the first time.

I wish Motion didn't have to rely on a third-party calendar (Google or Outlook). Support tickets take 2 business days to get a response. For the price you would expect 24/7 assistance and a dedicated calendar.

I love being able to put in a variety of tasks on different projects - work, personal projects, home organization, etc - and watching the AI organize my day / week for me according to my own priorities! It's amazingly easy to use.

The issues I have with Motion are minimal - I am looking for a few features to be added, like easier color coding on the calendar events, the ability to change the busy/free part of events that I'm invited to by others, being able to easily check off tasks on the project tab, a quick undo if I mark a task as completed by accident, and a better system / notifications when a recurring task can't be scheduled.

I really feel a "before" and "after" in my productivity and efficiency related to when I began using Motion. I no longer have to worry about forgetting about a task and can smart-schedule all of my to-dos, even ones that are not immediately urgent or pressing.

The auto-scheduler doesn't always work reliably — but I can manually triage this pretty easily.

Just love it - saves me at least an hour a day which adds up!

It's very easy to add all my tasks for the day or the month. This is my daily planner and I cannot life without it.

Couldn't be better. It was exactly what I was looking for and it pays for itself.

I've been getting Motion Ads for 2 years and it always intrigued me. I just never bought in before, but I'm glad I did eventually.It was exactly what I was looking for. I couldn't figure out a way to juggle all of the things I need to do while keeping them on my calendar at the same time. I live by my calendar so just that part alone is huge.It makes a huge daunting task list look visually possible to do. It is the closest you can get to the equivalent of an assistant organizing your calendar for you.

I wish you could choose which calendar a task goes to instead of just having a default calendar for your tasks. You can do this with events, but I don't see how to do this with tasks.

I love the way it keeps me prioritized on the best task to work on.

I wish there was a way to "push" a task to another day without reprogramming what end time it has. Sometimes it just isn't the right time to work on a task and I just want to push it aside for now.

I have realised that it helps me to visualise my deadlines better and I am able to better tackle the tasks ahead at the appropriate timing.

I love how it helps to input recurring tasks each week into the time slot that I had set.

Something difficult to navigate at times were when I was on vacation or there was a public holiday. My usual settings applied so I had to just navigate on my own for the tasks I wanted to complete during that time.

Motion keeps me organized and on track. It’s been helpful with allowing me to see how much time I actually have in my day.

The online booking link is worth it alone!

It took a minute to figure out how to integrate Motion into my daily routine.

It has definitely made me more productive and less stressed, but it is a journey to learn to trust that 'Motion' knows best. when you give in to it, it really does deliver what it promises, but I also manage it on a daily basis as priorities shift, but it gives me confidence that nothing will be forgotten or missed.

I like the fact that all my thoughts have been allotted time in the upcoming weeks, removing stress and procrastination. It enables me to remotely manage my team and their time also. I also like the calendar functionality that allows you to send various options of availability to people when trying to book a meeting.

Sometimes I find the functionality is not intuitive and it took some time to learn how to use it properly. Support seems limited.

Overall very happy with this and it's keeping me on task and making me more productive every day.

I love the ability to auto-schedule my tasks between a hefty meeting schedule. It gives me the ability to make incremental progress while I'm keeping up on the day-to-day.

I wish there was a little more configuration available to be able to do some things quickly or not have as much overhead with the tasks. There are times when I want to just quickly add something and it takes a bit of effort. I also would love a snooze feature for some tasks that aren't due for a few weeks but I have tasks that are due sooner that won't get completed on time.

Very poor. Gave up on the platform after a month and tried to cancel and get a refund which was declined. OK, fair enough. But, then 11 months later they took the renewal and ignored every single follow-up email I made. This behavior means I am leaving my first 1-star software review.

I wouldn't say I liked anything about this software, particularly if I compare it to other similar platforms. There is nothing superior about it.

The interface. The UX. Everything is click-intensive and unintuitive. Equally bad, their support team is unresponsive.
