Agrxis Review on Microsoft Authenticator

My experience with Microsoft Authenticator has been excellent. This two-factor authentication program has improved the security of my online accounts and is dependable and practical. I can swiftly and securely confirm my identity when checking in to different online services thanks to the app's user-friendly interface. In conclusion, Microsoft Authenticator is an excellent choice for anyone seeking for a two-factor authentication solution.

PROS

I particularly value Microsoft Authenticator's additional security and simplicity of use. The software is simple to use and offers the convenience of adding numerous accounts and authenticating them with a single tap. My accounts are further secured by the app's support for a variety of authentication techniques, such as push notifications and fingerprint recognition. For anyone wishing to increase the security of their online accounts, Microsoft Authenticator is an excellent tool.

Microsoft Authenticator Review

My overall experience with Microsoft Authenticator has been great, Ever since we adopted remote work full-time, it has helped us with password management and protection from all our accounts. This has helped us know if someone else is trying to log on to one of our accounts without permission or without our knowledge and helps us protect ourselves and the data and information on the accounts and sites we use. This has to be one of the best security investment tools if you deal with multiple accounts and sites daily.

PROS

What I like the most about Microsoft Authenticator is Password Management. Since most people have adopted remote working, devices, and information is vulnerable to cyber threats and hacking, and to protect myself and my team, I have installed Microsoft Authenticator to help me manage my passwords and to know where and when someone logs into any of my accounts that I have synced with Microsoft Authenticator.

CONS

Sometimes scanning the QR code might be tricky and one might fail to log in to their accounts if they lose their phone.

Slightly annoying

PROS

This gives me a lot of peace of mind knowing that no one can get into any of my accounts unless they have my phone. It's worth it for peace of mind especially if you handle large purchases on behalf of a large company.

CONS

There was a recent update that went from having the authenticator ask you to click approve on your phone to now requiring an additional step of scanning your fingerprint that's in your phone or putting your phones lock screen pin which is quite annoying to me. I wish it was just the approve button from before but I understand the need for additional security.

My go-to tool for multi-factor authentication

It has been very good. I set up accounts, use them, thats it. No fuss or having to redo things. Moving to a new mobile phone is also easy and straightforward with the instructions they provide.

PROS

The map that shows where the request is coming from (if enabled and supported) password-less option for Microsoft 365 easy to set up multiple M365 accounts easy to set up non-Microsoft accounts works reliably and quickly, I've never had an issue where it stopped working. Easy to deploy to our staff.

CONS

They disabled the Apple Watch integration that allowed you to approve a login from your Apple Watch. The backup process requires you have a personal Microsoft Account. I would like to back up to my enterprise account.

Reason for choosing Microsoft Authenticator

We did not look to closely at other options. We use Microsoft 365 so this was the clear option for us. Even if we did not use M365 I would still use this for most of my MFA needs.
